Happy Sunday-Happy Spring--

It's April and we had snow overnight--just a bit--but, it is not what we wish to see in April .We have a rain/snow mix falling outside now--but--I live in the North, so anything can happen weather-wise I suppose! -It is Sunday--a day of rest--(Ha Ha--as if eh?)--

This is a street in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where Son #2 is ---He tells me they are just an hour ahead of us--and temperature-wise, it is about 22C--quite nice!--I guess he bought a pair of slippers as this picture came to me too!---He must've needed flip flops-and, of course , being Chinese, many pictures of food
were on the "chat-line!
I think  the picture below  is of  a steak-He told me that Brazil is known for their beef-

I have a Birthday Party --a Grandson's Birthday, to go to this evening-- --To mask--or not to mask??-- What shall I do?--  Himself does not wish to expose himself to the Grandchildren, as everyone will be there----
I saw the above and liked it--thought I would share it------I will repeat it 550 times to-day--  Hugs to all--Lord love a Duck! ---WE MUST BE STRONG!

  1. Good morning Lynda. It won't be long and we'll soon be griping about the heat, lol. We're in the 40's F all this week here so that isn't bad. Nice pictures that your son sends you, I really enjoy looking at them.

Hard to say about masks, we don't have to wear them here but I still do. They've relaxed the rules but Covid is still here so I don't want to take any chances. At Fred's age, he shouldn't take chances either.

    Enjoy your Sunday!
Love and many hugs to you, Fred and the fur babies. xoxoxo

  2. Enjoy your Sunday. Wear the mask, in honor of not bringing something home to Himself. At least you will enjoy being with the family. Bring home some cake or whatever. Take care.

  3. Have fun at the birthday party but wear your mask. I have heard of more people in the last two weeks that I know that have covid than any time before. Enjoy your day and your family.

Like the pictures from pilot son. I'm sure he's enjoying warmth and good food.
Relax and try to take it easy.
Loved the last saying. Our mantra today, well everyday.
    Be well and safe.

  5. My son was in Sao Paulo once many years ago. He was in the Peace Corps in Paraguay and a friend was getting married there so he traveled for the wedding. I love the photos! We have had a couple of rather nice days but are expecting slushy snow overnight. I'm so done with snow!!! Enjoy the party if you decide to go!

  6. Go to the celebration but wear a mask and no hugging or kissing! You need to go to things once in a while and take pictures so himself can see. Son #2 always takes great pictures. Glad it's starting to get a bit better weather-wise.

  8. Mask up and go. Our Public Health Department posted updates yesterday stating that 73% of our eligible population is fully-vaccinated which I find encouraging. An annual music event SXSW (South By South West) was held a couple of weeks ago that brings people in from all over the world. This week our local hospitals saw a small increase in hospitalizations. The second booster shots are available at a handful of places.

Love the pictures and saved the I Am Stong . . . meme in my virtual folder of things that 'speak' to me.

    is good for you.

  10. It is hard trying to figure out where to go, but you have all your shots and boosters. If you go wear a mask and enjoy yourself a bit.

  12. A day late getting my comment in, but figured I'd let you know I'm reading! Hope that you find your compromise for the birthday party, regarding the mask. It's a self-negotiation, every time, almost.
