Never trust a person who doesn't like cows!

I was buying bananas --Lord love a Duck! --I was there at 9am too-- then I sentway the receipts for the  accountant at the post office--Every time I hand over the box to the Lady in the post office, I say a little prayer that they get to the accountant--like--what if they were lost? That box was so much work--for me!--

So, now we have bananas---and oranges, and grapes-- The cereal aisle is still pretty empty--  and the chip aisle-- Nearly everyone was wearing a mask too so that made me feel better--

It is milder to-day and I can almost see the ice melting--That is a good thing!---  AND----it was a very good Birthday Party for our 13 yr old Grandson-- Everyone gave him money--- Himself did not go as he is afraid of Covid-- I think he will always be afraid of Covid-

So, I shall end this with a big hug to you all-- To-morrow will be a "stay at home " day--  That will be SO SO nice! --Oh--one more thing--

Never trust a person who doesn't like cows!

  1. Monday: Well . . . . yesterday was just gray, but it was w/o precipitation. Today . . . . a different story. 1-2 in. of . . . rain. We lucked out and not snow.

No appointments today, so at least that’s in our favor.

    Hope it’s a good Monday.

Glad at least most of those shopping when you were @ the store were masked.

Glad your GS had a good birthday – milestone @ 13 yrs. old.

  2. Lynda, it's great that you do your own taxes and I'm sure they won't get lost.

We're finding the same here, most are still wearing masks, me too. As far as I'm concerned, Covid is still here so why take chances? Our store shelfs are bare but just seems to be certain things I could not find my regular cereal last week but have enough to last me till my next shopping trip.

Nice weather here, we're in the 40's F and will be in the 50's the rest of the week. Lovely!

Love & lots of hugs coming to you, Fred and your fur babies. xoxo

  3. We're having a beautiful start to the week, but lots of rain is coming in the next couple of days.

I'm glad that most of the people are wearing a mask. Here it's kind of a hit or miss depending on where you go. I'm going to continue wearing a mask anywhere I go for a while.

I'm so glad that you went to the party. We can enjoy things we just have to be careful about where we go now.

  4. Glad to hear most are still wearing masks. Thats not the case here in St.Louis.
Glad you went to GS party and got to see everyone.
Its sunny and warmer here today with rain coming in for a few days.
Enjoy your day. Take good care of yourself, himself and fur kids.
Any idea when your daughter might Come?
    Hugs

  5. I have decided to go unmasked now that the infection rate is way down and I am going for my second booster next week. So far people who get it here have a mild case and aren't hospitalized if they are vaccinated. I am ready to live a normal life. I know it is an individual thing and I respect that some people just aren't feeling good about being out without a mask. Glad you went and were able to enjoy the grandson's birthday.

  6. Glad you made it to your grandson’s birthday. Yes, they like money at that age. Glad you got your bananas and others wore masks. We are not clear here, either, but I’m staying away and continuing with delivery. Have no car anyway. Glad Himself stayed home. Feels better there.

  8. Lynda,
I’m glad that you were able to make your grandson’s birthday celebration yesterday and shopping today. Most people here are not wearing masks although the count is up a little. We do if we are in crowded places but I didn’t wear one when I went out to lunch with my best friend today as there were only 4 people in the whole place. It kind of felt good not to have it on. Our weather was milder today also.

  9. Trust cows only as far as they can't step on you...

LOL! Glad the party was nice, and it is heartening when we see others taking care with the masks and all, as we are "of an age" that's higher risk.

  10. Have not been around too many cows, so not sure. I suppose they are OK. AFter all look how many food products they provide.

  11. I'm glad you went. My philosophy is COVID will be here for a long, long time, and we can't just quit living out of fear, we will miss so many things in this world. Of course, you have to worry about your HIMSELF, I live alone.

Here, it is SO SO different. Practically no one anywhere wears masks anymore, save a few in the grocery store, and the only place I "have" to wear one is at the doctor's office or in a hospital setting. I've been vaxxed twice and boosted, and I'm going to go on about my life. I'll probably get the second booster too, when it's available.

  12. We had snow overnight but not much and it has thankfully all melted during the day. It wasn't too warm today but above freezing.

  13. Glad you went to the party. Case counts here are going up again but we can't stop living forever! Just always keep the mask on and get whatever vaccinations we can.

  18. We too wear our masks when we are going into a store or building that has people in it. Can't be too careful.
