Is the ol' body ready?

Good morning-- Once again, I am so late posting--  This morning, I had our vehicle at the car dealers to have the snow tires taken off and summer tires put on. I left Lopez once again with Himself , after walking forever with him, up the road, in the rain, to do his business. The summer tires are all back on now- These tires are on rims, so are very heavy.

And when I came back home, I took Lopez out again, again in the rain, and then went upstairs to get on the I Mac to blog, and somehow I hit some wrong button--(I have a track pad)--so according to "Apple Care"--probably clicked in the wrong spot, and everything flew all over the screen. What a mess!---  Lord love a Duck, if it wasn't for "Apple Care", I could never handle a computer! --They took forever to screen share, but when they finally did, he fixed it very fast--doncha jess hate it when something happens to your computer?---- And living where we do, (in the middle of no where)--there really is no help available if you have computer troubles.

We have a cold rain falling to-day--but---  before I went to town this A.M, I put on lighter summer clothing--"SUMMER CLOTHING"----Holy Cow! -- So, it definitely has warmed up here somewhat---

Well, we are into April now, and I still hear talk on the TV of "Snow showers"--crazy! ---  Exercise is what I feel is necessary now as my arms are all jiggly-- weights--  even a few everyday--
Our lake is still frozen, but, we can now see the docks, waiting to go out--  YEAH!!-- then--MORE SUMMER CLOTHES_yikes---  Is the ol' body ready?

  1. Our rain is suppose to start tonight and into all day tomorrow so I went out to the grocery to lay in some supplies to make an Easter dinner and some bananas (LOL) Al likes them on his cereal a couple of times per week. It was the 1st time I really noticed the price of groceries going up so much. I got mostly produce and dairy but my bill was well over what I thought it should be. At least the store was as busy as it will be latter in the week before the holiday.

  2. We're expecting snow tomorrow and only in the 30's. I mean REALLY!!! I've had enough of this lousy weather! We had thunderstorms overnight but the rain stopped by morning, thankfully. My Daisy refuses to go outside in the rain!

  3. Hope you're done with snow since you're getting the tires changed. I could get an appt until next week. It's supposed to be rainy here off and on from Friday to Sunday and cooler. Computers are the worst. I finally found a guy close by to call. It is so frustrating. Hope himself and Lopez did ok while you were out.

  4. Glad you got the snow tires removed. Another spring begins. We had tons of rain, but did not get the tornados, they went south of us. Flooding here right at commuter time. But a cold front moving in, just for fun, nothing freezing. Have a pleasant night.

  8. Boy, do I know about summer cloths and the condition of ones body. If this year is anything like last year, I won't wear summer cloths much anyway. My husband breathes easier when it is cooler so the house was cold enough that I wore long pants and and shirts with sleeves to my elbows. I was outside so little it seemed like too much of an effort to change to summer clothes and them back to long clothes. Hopefully this year will be better,.
Enjoy the rest of your evening,

  9. I had to have a tech support rep log on to my computer today, too...to help set up a new printer. The 'drivers' were unavailable. We were on the phone over an hour! He did make it easy, though...step by step...and now I can print!

Easter memories when the kids were little are wonderful. My kids still take theirs to egg hunts and have them themselves in their house/yards.
