YOU are special

WE HAVE SUN! -----and no snow is flying--- and I can see grass! ----AND--better still--It is not raining--and-there are no black flies out there-yet! -----It seems like a day made in Heaven!-

Yesterday I went to town later than I usually do--I was just going to buy bananas--but---I picked up a watermelon, some mangoes and strawberries. So, I will not shop again till  the end of the week. Lopez goes in for his surgery on Tuesday---(I just hope they don't "do him in" with the sedation etc----) Here I go worrying about that now!---  I must have the faith! You know, he has turned into a nice little dog---  a

bit yappy, but---he is a happy wee fellow and I am glad that we persevered  with the outside toilet training.
So far, we have not seen that robin  that built her nest right beside the sunroom door------I fully expect her and her young one to return- There are very few robins here yet this Spring  yet!

I like the above saying---The Queen has not called me to go for tea yet, but----as it says above, "There is no such thing as a hopeless situation"----so, I shall not give up--Maybe the phone call will come to-day---

It is a good day to have a great day-- "Keep yer chin up", as Dad used to tell me---and do remember that-

  1. I'm glad that you persevered with Lopez too and yes, Chihuahuas tend to be yappy little ones but they are being fierce, making up for being so small, LOL.

I'd love some of that fruit, I haven't any fresh ones and must wait till my niece takes me grocery shopping on Tuesday.

We are having a beautiful day here, temp is supposed to go up in the high 70's, I hope it makes it. I'm planning to sit on my balcony shortly. Oh, I saw a Robin come and sit on the railing out there the other day, first one and never saw one do that before, they usually stay in the trees out front. Sparrows come here but that's a given.

Enjoy your Sunday and keep the faith, the Queen will invite you to tea yet! :)
Hugs and love to you, Fred and your fur babies xoxo

  2. Glad you got in your fruit supply, and do not need to shop some more! I bought strawberries yesterday, delivery from Wal mart still needed due to Covid nonsense here. They are very good, already I cut them up to enjoy. Oh no, those dreaded flies that you get! Can’t imagine that. Take care.

  5. Yes! for your perseverance with Lopez. So happy he's learning well. Everything about Lopez surgery is going to go great. On male dogs, neutering is much more simple. Have a beautiful Sunday without worries!

  7. It was supposed to be sunny here but so far I haven't seen it. Not raining though so we are going out in a little while to plant a couple of new shrubs I got yesterday at the greenhouse. I also got a bottle of something called liquid fence that is suppose to deter deer. They have been nibbling my new tender daylilies as they come up.

Sure glad to hear Lopez has finally turned into a good dog. Dont worry, he'll be fine. Vet has tons of experience with procedure.

  10. Sounds like Lopez has made good strides with you as his nurturer. Just think of the amount of time it took Sushi to acclimate herself into her 'new' home.

  11. Thanks for the kind words today Lynda.......I kinda have had a day where everything I have said or done/has been duly commented on by someone other than me, or criticized................sheesh..........some days I
    wonder why I got married.

  12. I'm glad you are having a sunny day - any day is better with sunshine! It's off and on here but no thunderstorms... yet! Good luck with Lopez!

  13. Rhonda Byrne, the sig on your poster, wrote The Secret. I highly recommend it and the movie on Netflix, too.

I bet Himself and Beau (maybe even Sushi) are glad you kept Lopez, too.

My bananas bit the dust, but I have strawberries, a delicious apple and a "cutie" tangerine.

    We're gonna make it yet! {{{HUGS}}}

  14. Oh Lynda, I just do not understand how the Queen could overlook inviting you to her celebration. I am sure you were disappointed. LOL. I am so glad you didn't give up on Lopez. All small dogs are a bit yappy. Some of that is out of fear because everything is their world is so big.
Have a good evening and a good day tomorrow.
God's peace be with you, especially during Lopez's proceedure.
