A lot going on here----

Good morning---  "HAIR DAY"--if I can make it---You see,  to-day is the day that Lola and Apollo will be here --mid morning-- AND--yesterday, we nearly lost Lopez--  I was out in the front yard, with Lopez on a leash--He saw the neighbour Lady walking by our gate--took off to the gate--  pulled his leash right out of my hand--and ran to the gate--WENT UNDER THE GATE-and a car was driving--- too fast----  and--I thought for sure it was going to run over Lopez-In fact I thought it had--Somehow  Lopez was under the vehicle--  the vehicle had stopped--  and--Lordy Be--ALL WAS WELL__So----Luke is coming this afternoon---

Apparently Luke  was out here , tapping trees , will be to-day-so will come by and see if he can repair any escape routes around our gate---my hair day--

And I just head from someone that SOMEONE  is AGAIN,  into my Facebook page-- so , if any of you get a request to be friends--ignore it--I am sorry this is happening--AGAIN--

I shall get off of here --get ready for our visitors-- the 2 dogs---- and wish you all well to-day--  It seems cold outside this morning--  remember that we change our clocks on te 10th--AND----try to be happy--- as happy as a clam at high tide--- I'll see yu all later--

  4. It's Kathy. I am so glad little Lopez was okay. That must have been so scary for you! We live on a very busy road and I used to worry about Daisy when she was younger but now she doesn't let me out of her sight! She's about the same age as me now and neither of us move very fast anymore. I remember as a young girl my cat ran out into the road with my mother screaming at me to NOT follow the cat! Luckily he was faster than the car coming! Enjoy your hair day, if you do get to go into town! And have fun with the additional friends coming over!

  5. It's Marti. I had something similar happen to Jake when he was a pup. I used to walk him at this community park, and would let him offleash b/c he never ran away, always stayed close, and not many people there. There was a quite large grassy area between the path and the very busy Sawmill Rd. so I never thought about it. Well, ONE day he decided he was going to run across this big area RIGHT into the very busy road. He was evidently after something he could smell in the median. I was crying, thought he was a goner, as he ran right into the median and was sniffing around. I couldn't get him, wouldn't come to me. This kind man stopped his car, got out of it, and ran and grabbed that collar and got him for me. Never again did I let him off leash, nor will I ever, not near a road. OMG! Sooo glad your pup is okay. God must have been watching out for you both!

  6. So scary with Lopez! Glad it all turned out okay.
If you get your hair done or have to reschedule, it will be ok. Can Himself look after all 4 dogs?
Feel chilly here, too, but it is supposed to warm up later.
Still having the gallbladder pain. I have a surgery consult on the 20th. Will be on the WFPB diet til then. Maybe my labs will be better.
Please follow your own advice...laugh, and enjoy your day. {{{HUGS}}} Maggie
