Women should be tough, tender, and live long lives.

It is going to be a good day--I just feel it in my bones-- and if you are thinking-- "oh no"----that your bones are not telling you that---- MAKE IT A GOOD DAY----  Breathe-- You CAN handle whatever is going to happen--POSITIVE THOUGHTS ONLY-----a smile helps---The Lady below  will bring a smile onto your face--I do love her!

Well, Himself was supposed to go to his Day Program to-day---after a storm last week and missing 2 days--Well, guess what?--- The phone call early this morning, advised me that his Day Program is cancelled this morning---DUE TO COVID ---IN THE BUILDING----  Lord love a Duck! Who would think eh?---- And then, I remembered yesterday, when  I was all over town--the Pharmacy, the Post Office, Son#1's restaurant, the Bank--the Pet Store--and the Car Wash--WITHOUT A MASK---  Lord love a Duck!---- And looking back, Himself is the only one who wore his mask at his Day Program-----I never wore one--haven't for a very long time--So, it is still out there-- COVID--- altho we are all vaccinated etc etc---  BUT----I'd rather not get it AGAIN---

The 2 Boys, (as in dogs) have been out--- will have to go out again--later -- It was VERY cold this AM---  will warm up later--Little Lopez had a bath yesterday--I did the bathing---He could not stop shivering when I took him out of the tub--poor wee fellow-- I guess it was a shock to his system--
Because there is no Day Program, I suppose Himself and I will have to do something nice--- like---  GO OUT FOR LUNCH__  LIKE--  GET A MEAL TO GO---We have to make to-day special somehow --LOL-- AND----  I nearly forgot---

IT IS MARCH 1ST ---  Lord love a Duck!-Did you know that Daylight Savings Time begins March  the 10th  ??????---That means more daylight---after supper--We can all go out and play "Hide and Seek", or, "Kick The Can"---Now wouldn't that shock all our kids if they saw all their parents outside running around?--LOL

No Sadie , the cleaning Lady, (who is really me)-to-day----  Himself and I have to get down to serious business to-day , having fun-- making this day special--

I'll see you all later ---  Remember  how special you are---and---
BE STRONG__

  1. Good morning, Lynda! You will be busy today, but it's terrible that the day program has covid! I saw on a newsletter in my email that those over 60 should get a spring booster shot. Cheesh...when will it end?
It is March. The 17th, Saint Patrick's Day, is my Lucky's birthday. He will be 7 and, officially, a senior cat. I have vitamin B12 shots to start him on. It goes on his food. Hope he takes to it.
Sadie may do a bit for me today. I appreciate her help. I need to go get gas, too. I was going to do it yesterday, but I had to go to Walmart to get supplies for the friend with the bariatric walker that I take to karaoke. First time since my injury. I was so tired...that store is SO big. I didn't use an electric thingy that you sit in...I walked, pushing a cart.
Today will be a bit easier.
It's just a couple degrees over freezing now, but will feel like spring is really here this afternoon. The sky is a beautiful blue. Wouldn't it be something if we looked out our windows in the morning and saw that the sky was PURPLE?
My mama's favorite pattern was sky blue pink with purple polka dots.
Get something good for lunch and dinner (supper?). You won't have to cook today! Do you get it at son #1's restaurant?
    On that note, Sadie and I had better do our thing and get it over with. For today, anyway. Enjoy your day, sis! {{{HUGS}}}

  3. Wahoo! 19 days until Spring! Today is my daughter’s 41st birthday. We will be celebrating at my grandson’s baseball banquet. Rolling eyes here.
We had quite the storm yesterday. Rain and winds. No snow! Fantastic!
Tomorrow starts baseball season. We will freeze to death on the bleachers. Did I mention that in 19 days it will be officially Spring? 😃
Have a great day. Hope that you get to go out and have a nice lunch. . Jacquie

  4. It's Kathy. I love your blog today. Sorry himself can't go to the day center. Yes, covid is still here. One of the women in my bible study came down with it after she had hugged nearly every other woman in church on Sunday. I decided to stay home - no something I want to take a chance on. Court on Wednesday was just a chance to meet the judge and learn about the process. The two of them have mediation on 3/21 - for 3 hours! That will be horrible. Both Tom and I will have to go stay with the boys. I know, wanting the darn kitchen table!!! My personal trainer heard me tell someone that at the gym yesterday. Before he left for the day he found me and said he had a really nice kitchen table he was happy to give her! There are nice people still out in the world! My son, DIL and grandson are coming tomorrow so I need to borrow Sadie to get my home cleaned. My husband it teaching this morning so it's a good time to get started! Have a wonderful day and I love the plan to have some fun with himself!

    1. Hi Kathy--beautiful day here to-day--I will wear my mask now every time I go to town-- Apparently a Volunteer's Hubby had Covid--- Maybe it was her that got it also--then spread it-- So, your poor daughter has to go thru mediation?--=If it doesn't turn out in her , your daughter's favour, could you not tell that judge that you, the Grandmother , need time with the 2 boys also--and then----= your time, is your daughter's time--I dunno--seems the Father is not a good person--This whole thing must be terribly hard on your daughter--sad eh???---= I will say a prayer -- Big hugs and hope for the best and hopefully , it will turn out well--Hugs, Lynda--Poor kis eh?

  5. Yes, not just Covid but a whole bunch of "gunk" is out there! I got sidelined for a while with a not Covid thing, in February, but am back to my regular rounds these days, chastened and humbled again.

Hope your Friday and the weekend ahead go well! Happy March!

    2. I had something, but I didn't get it confirmed as to what. It did not test positive for Covid, and it wasn't as bad as the RSV was last Summer, but it was something! Keep on hand washing and avoiding crowds...

  6. Hi Lynda! It is winter. This time of year is the worst for germs and there are many types going around. I know several people who have been sick in the last couple of weeks and one in the hospital with the flu worse than all winter. I never stopped wearing a mask but I would sure not stop in the winter. Too bad his program got canceled. It's cloudy and 48 in Ohio. Much better than yesterday when it was super cold. Yes, we must be all those things! Tommy had me crazy yesterday. That is why I posted what I did on your blog last night. LOL Have a great evening!
