It's Kathy. I'm so glad your daughter's surgery went well. It's nice that she is in a place where she feels comfortable. No matter what the surgery is, it's never fun. And how nice that you can have lunch with himself - maybe then a light dinner! We have no plans for Easter. Several years ago my children decided they just wanted to stay home and while I miss having a nice Easter Dinner, I'm okay with not having the work. I will make something special for Tom and me - just not sure what it will be. We're going to the store tomorrow. We have a very cold day today with lots of snow, but weatherman assures us that it will be gone in week. Poor Daisy - it snowed on Sunday, rained on Monday and snowed again on Tuesday so in a lot of places where she steps she sinks! She's not too happy about that! Tom shoveled a bit of a path for her but she'd rather do her business in the deep snow! Funny little girl! Enjoy your lunch!
ReplyDeleteKathy yu sound like us--- alone here over Easter --I am OK tho s its always so busy--cold here also-Lynda-
DeleteLove the minions!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Glad you caught your sanity and didn’t drag out the iron. NOOooo.
Good use for those Downy freshner beads.
Oh my! I hope that picture makes it to it’s destination. So sorry. What a horrible thought to think it’s lost. Prayers.
Yes, the wind was bad yesterday and not a whole lot better today.
Glad you have your nail appointment. You need the pampering.
Wow! That’s not a dream . . . that’s a nightmare.
Hope your sun is out. We have had some sunshine and clouds. Mostly clouds. Ah well.
Here’s to a good Wednesday. Or should it be WINDSday.
Hugs

DeleteI love the quote about believing in yourself!
ReplyDeleteGlad that yu like it--- Lynda
DeleteI always enjoy your Easter pics! I am planning on church and brunch after with my older sis and her gentleman friend, and then I'm not sure just when my old co-worker will show up with my new furry friend! I'm glad I gave myself a week to prepare, as there's some progress each day.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a Happy Easter and all is calm! (( hugs )) - Barb OKM
Oh Barb--I missed something--=a new furry friend??--a cat-=a dog?-- So exciting---I bet a new cat--- Holy cow-- Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda
ReplyDeleteYour Easter pic is cute and no doubt your patients loved you even more.
Hope your daughter is doing well post surgery.
Nice that you'll have lunch at lodge and won't have to fix much this evening.
Happy to hear that nasty snow is leaving. Sure hope there won't be any more.
We'll be here alone for Easter. Son had hand surgery Monday and doesn't want to come over. Sunday is also his 56th BD. I'll figure out something to fix. It will be non traditional, maybe pizza lol. I'll have to figure it out soon to hit the store before weekend. Sorry you two won't be with kids, but know you're not alone in being home alone. Is what it is.
Great inserts as always.
Hope Sushi comes out of the closet.
Enjoy your day. Hugs and Blessings.
Sunny but still cold in St.Louis

DeleteHi Lynda: Hope you have a great lunch with himself at the Lodge. I'm not doing anything special for easter. I missed you talking about your daughter's surgery. Is she ok? Hope Lopez doesn't try to mess with Sushi! Have a good night. Brenda
ReplyDeleteHi-- Thank yu for asking--our daughter sailed thru the surgery--Lynda

ReplyDeleteShucks! I'm commenting rather late. The PC says there has only been 1 comment! Huh? That's really strange. Now it says 14 comments.
ReplyDeleteI did read your blog earlier in the day, but was interrupted before I had a chance to comment.
Love the photo of you and your friend in bunny costumes. I don't know what a Tarp shop is, though.
No invite from my daughter yet, so I guess I will be here with Lucky. That's okay. We have lots of good food. I will probably eat supper in my recliner with him on my lap in front of the TV.
It's great that Himself can go to his day program so you can get something else done. Then you get to join him for lunch. Sounds like a great plan.
The dogs are adorable. Shows what they will do for their owners, putting up with that.
Hope you get notification that I posted so late. Was busy today with chores (Sadie didn't appear to help), shopping, etc.
Will be sure to comment earlier tomorrow.
Sweet dreams. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
