Wear the Perfume??

Happy Easter Saturday--and--the stores are open to-day--- I need vegetables--fruit-- maybe yogurts--It seems like a good day to spread "the love"--- so----  as it says above, "I love you all to the moon and back"---and, to-morrow is Easter Sunday---when you can put on that Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it--and--"you will be the finest in the Easter parade"--so-----dance around the kitchen--and sing---

I realize Easter Sunday is to-morrow--but----  it's Easter weekend---so, we can celebrate  even to-day---

Last evening, I grabbed wee little Lopez and pressed the camera--You can tell he did not like the sound--but here he is, trying to get away-

- Last night he  ran upstairs here-- (Sushi's abode)-chased poor Sushi into the closet---and before I could grab him, he  went behind her into the closet, then began to yelp--- Sushi had turned around and whacked  Lopez , probably in his face---I grabbed Lopez,  expecting to see blood, (There was none)-and praised Sushi for standing up to this wee bad boy-- a lesson to Lopez-!-Lots of action always it seems, in this house!

-I hope that your day is calmer---the above  might help--- I like the "wear perfume"---Lately it's the last thing I think of as I leave the house---A person who is 81 and wears her perfume ----Wow!

- sounds good anyway--LOL---- Perfume or not, always  get back up again and again, even after a good cry---Lord love a Duck! ---  There are times that it is hard,  but,  there doesn't seem to be anyone in this house who picks me up---"If it's going to be, it's up to me!"--

Easter weekend---means SPRING, is nearly here--We made it thru winter---- and then----
                                                                LESS CLOTHING

                                            --can hardly wait----always remember---

  1. Happy Easter Eve! Very rainy in Ohio today but guess better than snow coming Thursday! Oh, such a sweet pic of you and Lopez. Get a collar for him. I just use the noise button for Tommy. Actually, all I have to do is put the collar on him not even turned on and he acts so much better! Have a super Saturday!

  2. It's Kathy. You always make my day a little brighter! That Snoopy meme - I tell that to Daisy every single day! We clipped her nails this morning - she was not a fan! I held on to her, Tom clipped. We'll have to do it again in a couple weeks, it was his first time EVER! It's warming up to the 60's next week - then she'll get a bath. Yes, I think my daughter is safe but because the boys are so all over the place, they are not safe with their dad. He believes watching children means playing video games while they do whatever they want and it's entirely possible that Roman could let himself out of the house! But after the last 2 days, I need to distance myself for awhile or I will really lose it! Today she's buying a car so she can return the car she's been driving to Bryan - it's more important for him to have a good, reliable car than her, the person who has to drive the boys everywhere! One of my sons is helping her today - bless his heart! Oh, and I'm copying that Strong Woman meme - I did a lot of crying yesterday but picked myself back up again! We've got this!!! Have a great day today!

Kathy--- guess crying is healthy--but--I am sorry that you have to go thru this--It will work out--eventually--maybe not the way you want, but , you have to remember that you are doing the best yu can do --As long as your daughter knows that she can turn to yu for support--thats about all yu can do----It WILL work out one way or another--- Hugs-Lynda

  3. Hi Lynda, you brightened my morning. I LOVED every single insert. All amazing.
Cute pic of you and Lopez. Had to laugh about Sushi letting him know who's boss. Glad there was no blood. If she has her claws she could have gotten him good. Hope he got the message.
Be safe going to the store and, yes, wear perfume for sure.
Beautiful in St.Louis. mid 70sF and 85F on Easter Sunday until rain moves in.
We all must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and go forward!
Hope the doc is in a good mood. I plan to start reading the Good Good Pig as I finally was able to get it. Nothing exciting here. Household chores and laundry.
    Hugs and blessings
    Extra hugs for YOU

  4. I lived the Irish Blessing yesterday. And, what a wonderful nephew. My dream or dreams would be to rescue all big dogs. It’s so hard to see these older dogs discarded at the local shelters. I watch weekly. One of these days, I will bring a female home to hang with my 5 year old, 90 pound doodle!
Good for Sushi. Made me chuckle.
Have a blessed Easter. Hugs from me.

  5. Good for Sushi! Lopez may have thought Sushi would play in the absence of his old friend? Now he knows better.
No snow in our forecast...it is gone off the ground, etc. It will still be below freezing at night, though.
We will all have a great Easter Sunday. My daughter did text me a last minute invite. I will be making double my broccoli casserole, double my fruit salad, talking half to her home and the other have to our party here. We eat at 1 at Cindy's. I eat and run back here to pick at the food from our residents' party. I will fix a large plate of that stuff to eat at supper time, and take it back up to my apartment. Whew!
    Now I gotta get cooking.
Great memes as always. Always smile when you post those nude bikers!
The photo of you and Lopez is perfect. He is mostly a good doggie.
Hope you hear from your kids, too. The restaurant son could bring you a good meal...

  6. Happy Easter, Lynda….to you, Fred, wee Lopez, and Sushi! I love that Sushi gave Lopez a wallop and showed him who was the upstairs boss lady! He has some nerve, doesn’t he…trying to invade her domain!
We must all support ourselves first off, then each other….we ARE strong women! Hugs, Eissa7

Ohhhhh, sounds like Sushi edumacated Lopez about what NOT to do. Glad no injuries. Sheesh.

Oh my, that’s something I haven’t done in a long time . . . wearing perfume. I went an put on my Jean Nate! Reminds me of my Mom. She wore that all the time. Just a nice, clean fragrance.

And yes, don’t forget the clothes!

  8. My house might soon be like yours, depending on how Prisoner and Ember get along (or not). About 28 hours 'til she (Ember) arrives... but who's counting?

One might NEVER be wholly ready, except mentally and emotionally... ready to roll with whatever punches come along.

Hope you have a Happy Easter weekend! And wear clothes, especially if the weather is chilly!

  9. Enjoy Easter whatever way you want. No perfume here, so allergic, no smelly stuff in over 30 years. So many people get sick from it, bad as Ciggie smoke. We don’t do anything for Easter anymore, no point. Older relatives gone. No little kids to hunt eggs. No point.
