Yes, it is a beautiful day!

FINALLY-----  Easter Sunday--- so happy--because--SPRING is around the corner--
                Spring has sprung
                The grass has riz
                I wonder where
                The boidies iz?
The Boid is on the wing
                But that's absoid
I thought the wing was on the boid-

I have "stuff " to tell you--Yesterday I saw a flock of geese--in a park on the way into town--Our lakes are not open yet--so, they were running all over this park-- resting probably. on their way, farther north-I wanted to stop the car and introduce myself--another sign of Spring--
It is still cold here--and snow is predicted for parts of next week--

April  showers bring May Flowers----in the North here, Spring kinda lags a bit--

Lopez and I have "hoofed" it up the road , and--he even did his business--and the bed is changed-but-- no taxes are done--"yet"----I have all the needed papers ready--I just have to sit at the table and organize all those papers--Mom used to say, "A Woman's work is never done"-----and it seems that way--but---- to-day is a beautiful day--and one day we will say, "Yes , it was a beautiful life!"----
                                                                    HAPPY EASTER

Yes, it is a Beautiful Day--

  1. Taxes...I remember! Luckily, due to my age and income, I don't have to file them anymore. But the State of Minnesota still gives a renter's rebate.
"A man may work from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done." is the complete proverb. Sounds about the same to me. Must be referring to farmers.
All set for Easter. Made double of my dishes and will leave for my daughter's house soon, then back to our party.
Must stop at the drug store for a chocolate bunny for my grandson and their heart shaped peanut butter dog cookies for my grand dog.
Lucky is crying for play time, so I'd better hustle. Between the two get togethers, I won't have lotsa time for him until later tonight.
Happy you're seeing signs of spring. I still haven't seen a robin. There is a mix of rain and snow (sleet?) set for Monday morning. Other than that, no snow in our forecast. Tulips, flowering trees (including my Lilacs), dandelions...here we come!
I trust all of you will enjoy your day. Hope you have good food, say some prayers and get some rest, sis.
    {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. Good morning Lynda, Happy Easter. That is the cutest bunny. Great inserts.
Taxes...groan. glad I've got that task done but there's always something to handle.
Our grass got cut yesterday. It's warm in St.Louis but hail, storms, winds predicted later tonight and tomorrow. I sort of hope if it's going to hail, it happens now as my roof will be replaced from the golf ball sized hail on March 14.
I need to get Sadie moving here. Then I'll relax. Quiet day here at home.
    Hugs and blessings
Extra hugs for you dear Lynda

  4. It's Kathy. A very Happy Easter to you and himself. I hope you have a really wonderful day! Thanks for your words of encouragement - I know things will work out as they are suppose to, it's just the getting there that's hard. Yesterday my daughter, with the help of her brother, bought herself a car! I think that's another big step toward her independence of that horrible man who just wants to hurt her! I'll check in with her later today. My oldest daughter is making us lunch - a lamb roast. I don't think I've ever eaten lamb but it seems appropriate for Easter! Yes, I will tell myself that Yes, it's going to be a beautiful day! I've seen some geese here and there for the last few weeks, but not the big groups of them that we usually see. I saw a Robin in my back yard last week! Our snow is almost melted - yeah! I'm not a snow person so I am happy to have a warmer than usual April, as they are predicting! Hope your day is wonderful!

  5. Oh, dear yes, taxes. Mine were done on Presidents' Day (I forget the Canadian version of that Monday holiday... but I know you have one the same day), and the bad news is I owe, the good news is not penalties and at least I am able to pay. What's that old gratitude exercise, be grateful for your taxes because it means you have income?

I went to church with my sis, as planned, and we went out to brunch. But the funny bit is: I left my phone at home. It was an accident, but you know what? It took a boatload of stress away, because I didn't have to fuss with turning it into silent mode, and since I didn't have it, no need to worry about picture taking... sometimes it's good to "live in the past" for a bit.

Hope you have a wonderful Easter... you, and Himself, and little Lopez and Sushi the cat that came in from the cold. It's Springtime!

  7. Happy Easter Lynda. It is a nice day here. Still a little cool but nice and sunny. Supposed to get some rain every day this week and one day may be mixed with snow! Enough already! I have to get my taxes together too. Surprised you already have some Canada Geese there. Haven't seen many yet. Like the poem about a beautiful day. Have a good night. Hugs Brenda
