BE KIND TO COWS!

Good day  to you all---Later than late posting--You see, my Kindle broke--Last night I could not get it to work--and it is my lifeline--especially before I  go to sleep--I always read  books on it---but--last night it would not turn on -- after about 10 hrs., I finally charged it in a plug up beside the bed--and , for some silly reason, it turned on--(In the kitchen, nothing would happen--thought it had died!)

I called my sister out in Nova Scotia, who has several Kindles---She suggested I just turn it on--AND OFF-so, I powered it down, and when it came back on (which surprised me)- it began to work-- But--I had already ordered a new one--which my sister told me that it is a good idea to have a back up kindle--so---  I read  my book on it last night with the thing plugged into the wall--My head was hanging over the bed--It is a Susan Meissner book, called, "As bright as Heaven--"-So a new kindle will arrive next week and this will be a back up book--

The big news is--SUSHI IS NOW USING HER NEW CAT TREE__Lord love a Duck---Since Himself moved the new one, beside the old one--(so now they almost completely cover the window)- she goes onto the new one--

--And--as if we weren't busy enough---  Our financial advisor called--well emailed-- and they are changing over their employees--  so, I had to sort all that out----- finances are VERY important these days with the price of everything skyrocketing--

-So----How is your day going?---It's mild here--feels like Spring-- We have a great deal of ice all over from the snow melting---but--it is March--- and the winter seems to be on its way out--(I hope!)-
NEVER EVER FORGET THE ABOVE---Braver-- Stronger, Smarter and Loved---
I hope your day is going well--
We do need a little help sometimes ---  I hope that you go out of your way to be extra nice to people you meet to-day-
--and-----  BE KIND TO COWS!

  1. Sis, you may be late posting, but I am late checking, so it's just fine.
Spring here, too. It's already almost 30 degrees over freezing with a mostly blue sky.
Soon I'll see the first robin, squirrels and other critters running around and...LILACS!
There's that meme again that doesn't give credit to Piglet when he said it to Pooh.
Ran my friend Rebecca around for her errands already.
Now Sadie may do dishes, Lucky needs playing with, and I gotta figure out what to wear for karaoke tonight so I can shower and change after our little nap.
I will check out that book for my Kindle, too. I have been through 3 o4 four myself. The good thing about you getting a new one is that it may have more features for you to use. I have never used the camera on mine, have you?
I'm gonna call up a song or two with lyrics on youtube to practice. Need to add more to my repertoire. One is by a little boy names Billy Gillman (he's grown up now) called 'One Voice.' Have you heard it?
    Couldn't live without music, pets, laughter...and your blog. {{{HUGS}}}

  2. Well, glad you got the Kindle going, but also good to have a new one as a back up . . . just in case.

Hallelujah! Glad that Sushi is using her new cat tree! Just took her time to get used to it. Cute photos!~

Mild weather here, too. Lovely. Enjoying it!

Love all the memes today. Thank you for the reminder . . . we are definitely braver and smarter and stronger than we give ourselves credit for!

Around here, our cows are spending more time outside now! They seem to enjoy it!

  3. It's Kathy. I'm glad you are having a bit nicer weather today. We will be in the high 60's. It would be a good day to take Daisy for a walk but I'm watching her sister Annie and I don't think I can manage both dogs. So we'll go outside and play for awhile. No, the boys' father is not a good person. He thinks of Lauriellen and the boys as something he owns! I doubt mediation will do much good because Bryan wants everything! But then the mediator reports back to the judge her thoughts. What we are hoping for is full custody for Lauriellen with supervised visitation for Bryan. What we could live with is sole physical custody for Lauriellen with joint legal custody - still with supervised visitation. But we'll see. There are a lot of prayers out there!

My son, DIL and grandson just left - they live about 300 miles away. They came down for the weekend to attend Roman's birthday party and get together with my ex-husband's family. They will be staying with us which is always fun but also extra work for me! It is really good to see them though!

  4. Marti here. Ah, I KNEW Sushi'd start using it eventually, cats are funny that way, LOL. I'm so glad!

I had never had a Kindle, and then at work some very old ones came in and I could not get them to work and was curious about them, broke down and bought one. Well, the first one I bought I didn't like so much, so I bought the next one up, the Kindle Paperwhite, it's much better, to me. But the thing is, I've gotten out of the habit of reading, so it's been months since I started on the book that's currently on there - the book Prince Harry wrote. I got about 1/3rd of the way through it. What's amazing is that the battery lasts forever, like months and months. Just sitting there. Now why can't they make a battery like that on a smartphone or iPad???

  5. Hi Lynda, darn electronic stuff. At least a new one is on the way plus they aren't terribly expensive.
Loved yesterday and today's inserts. I was busy running around with DIL who I seldom see. It's been since Christmas. I got to do girl stuff which I enjoyed.
Sorry himself didn't have day program. I hope you 2 did get out and enjoyed lunch or something fun.
Yay Sushi using new tree. Cute pictures. Maybe, just maybe in the future you can move the tree where you intended it to go. Maybe lol
Lovely in St.Louis today. Sunny and mid 60s. Yesterday morning we started with snow. Oh just go away. Spring IS coming. Enjoy your day. If I encounter any cows, not likely, I shall be very nice and also very nice to humans today.
    Hugs and blessings
    We shall stay strong.

  6. Hi Lynda: It's nice here today and is supposed to be better tomorrow. Glad it's getting better. Good that you got your old kindle working til you get the new one. I have looked at them but I'm still too old school and like my paperbacks. Are they really good? Glad Sushi is finally using her tree. That should make himself happy. And here is a big hug for you today! Have a good night. Hugs Brenda
