Glad that Lopez did his biz . . . good boy! YES sometimes we just have to do what has to be done to stay safe. You don’t want something to happen to you OR the boys.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the meme. Definitely if we don’t talk to ourselves we are missing meeting an excellent person!

Hi Barb--It wont allow me to change the date to March 5th -- so happy to see yu--= Lynda
DeleteTalk to myself?? Heck we have entire conversations. LOL! Today I gave myself some kudos for taking my time and staying calm as I tried repeatedly to tie my shoe laces. I know how to do it but my hands and fingers don't cooperate with each other or me these days. It took 45 minutes, but I finally succeeded. I'm grateful it was only one shoe! I'm certainly a lot more kind to myself about these things than when I was a kid. So I allowed myself to have pizza delivered for lunch (gasp!) knowing I'd have it for my dinner too. In celebration of patiently, calmly trying over and over to conquer yet another lost skill. If it comes untied again, I'm putting the silicone stretchy thingies in to make the shoes slip-ons. That will be a challenge for another day though! I'm grateful I kept my cool, had no meltdowns, and just kept trying. Love you, Lynda - so glad I could pop in and say hello! ❤️
ReplyDeleteHoly cow--- It is you dear Lady--My fingers are numb also--the end digit--and its hard to pick up things--I love that you popped in to sy hello--I have missed you! Yu must tell the other ones on here , that you are in Australia--probably just getting up eh??-=- Yu sound like all is good there--except for those shoe laces--LOL--hugs-Lynda
DeleteI need Sadiento come and herbgardener to come to this place!!
ReplyDeleteNow what is Sadiento???
DeleteI talk to myself all the time! Also to my dog who is a great listener!
ReplyDeleteWell, it is snowing here, again. We have a shop on our property and my husband and worker are out there. My dog is having a fit and I went outside to tell him to stop barking. Yep, I was caught in my flannel pjs. What a great way to start the day! Poor worker-his eyes might be burning now. 😂🤣😂. Just thought that you might need a laugh!
Jacquie
LOLOL--- pretty funny--- So much going on eh--=and the dogs think they are helping--LOL--=Lynda
DeleteJust when all is well and moving along nicely here, something goes off in daughters head and she makes hurtful/snide remarks....which does not set well with me. I am considering looking for an efficiency apartment somewhere so I can have peace/quiet, and no one coming in my room and moving things to suit them. Oh well, guess I know now why David refused to move up here.
ReplyDeleteDarlene--Do yu live with your daughter?-I do not think I could live with any of my kids--maybe Son#2 --dunno--- but-- I always miss their visits-- Kids do not know much about us "older people"--- nor do they try to understand us-Poor yu--- Don't you just wish yu could bash them on the head??---(Bad me eh?) Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I also talk to myself. Sometimes I have to talk myself into doing things I really don't want to do. Ice Pellets doesn't sound fun. Isn't our weather this year really odd. We had a really warm weekend and now it's on the chilly side again! I went to Pilates this morning, Now I need to get some work done!
ReplyDeleteKathy--- good to hear from yu--- Our drive is great--good to get rid of all that ice Spring is springing here --early-- hugs, Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda. You ARE Wonder Woman. Loved the inserts, especially it takes balls to be a woman.
ReplyDeleteHappy the ice situation is under control or at least manageable.
Sure hope himself can go to day program Wednesday. You need it lol.
Sadie came here early, before the gym.
Not too much point in doing a lot of cleaning as 4 dogs will play havoc with clean and tidy. Oh well.
Hope your day is going well. Cloudy and rain in St.Louis and temps down to 50sF. I've seen a couple of magnolia trees blooming along with some daffodils.
Take great care of you.
Hugs and Blessings
Marge
Marge--Daffodils ----sounds like Spring for sure--Our driveway is magnificent--so so nice to get rid of that ice--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! It was sunny and nice this morning in Ohio then it got dark and stormy! Now back to sunny and 69. Yay for your melting driveway and cheaper than doctor/vet bills for sure! I have been Sadie today. I think I will send Tommy over when Lola and Appolo come. You won’t notice one more! LOL Have a terrific Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI would never usually take someones dogs but son#3 is a good guy--and his dogs are old and should not be boarded -Lola and Apollo like Lopez-(not many people like Lopez)-=-=LOL---- I could never give him away--He is a tough little guy!--LOL--I will be happy tho to ship the 2 visiting dogs back to their home--LOL--Lynda
DeleteOf course i talk to myself.
ReplyDeleteI didn't have a good evening last night, though. Was given an egg salad sandwich on a bun. It was good, but 1/2 hour later pain started Terrible, horrible pain in the area of my gallbladder. Went to the ER. They didn't release me until 230AM. The pain finally dissipated. EKG showed a lot of sludge in there. Doc said the pain went away because it finally passed through. Totally plant based now. I need to follow up at the VA.
You may be able to relax today with your kindle and or music! Good for you,
I'm doing nothing more tonight. Just trying to find something with no fat that I would like to eat.
Until tomorrow! {{{hugs}}}
Oh dear---poor yu --There had to be something wrong with the egg salad--so sorry for yu!!! And that must've been painful--NEVER EAT EGG SALAD when you are out--=NEVER!!! -I would've done the same tho-=-someone puts food ion front of me--and I eat it---Yes a I have the new kindle--haven't set it up yet but will-I really hope that you feel better now-- I am so sorry for yu--big hugs-- Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: I talk to myself all the time - no one else to talk to except the dog and she doesn't pay attention to what I say. Hope you had a nice quiet day today and that himself gets to daycare tomorrow. Love the snoopy memes. Have a good night. Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrenda -- Himself goes to-morrow to the Day Program--YEAHHHHHHH--Lynda
