Good morning!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about the lodge yesterday. I don’t know about Canada, but here in the states it is hard to find workers. Seems like many would rather stay home. It’s tough…
We are about to get dumped on with snow. I know that we need it for our farmers but I wish that it would stay up in the mountains! Ha ha
But, I’m set with food. Can stay home and work on taking down Christmas. I’m ready for Spring! Ha ha
Have a good day! Jacquie.
Yes they are short staffed at the Lodge--I sure am ready for Spring also--it should be a short winter now--I hope!-Lynda
DeleteHello. It's Marti. Hey, just so you know, it's actually Saturday! LOL
ReplyDeleteMarti--all day I thought it was Sunday--crazy eh?--=But--nice to know that I now get another Sunday--LOL---- Lynda
DeleteWe had some snow last night, not enough to help the drought situation though. I tripped over a cord last night and fell...so both my knees look ruff today...lol Amazing Grace should have been my middle name. Going to go up and watch Yellowstone with Barbara.
ReplyDeleteHope things with himself get better, he must be terribly frustrated after his career.....what happened with the day program?????
Hang in there Lynda...(it isn't him) If he gets his cane after Lopez, I hope he does not strike you with it.
Oh no--=YU fell???--That day program stopped over the holidays----so bad for both of us-------difficult --- definitely not him-- --I am sorry that yu tripped-- something I would do--- Lynda
DeleteLet us all be strong women! Onward into 2024!
ReplyDeleteand we now have tons of snow--- LOL--just what we needed--LOL--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I love the photo of Lopez in his Parka! We finally got a bit of snow but barely 1 inch! Enough to almost cover the ground. But Daisy braved it and went outside to take care of her business - she's resting now! I do hope himself can go to the center on Monday. I understand being stuck at home must be so difficult for both of you. Tom and I are going to the Art Center Gallery opening this afternoon. I really don't have time but it's probably also good for me to get outside a bit! At least I don't have to cook tonight - I love leftover nights! I wish you a good day today and be careful when you do get outside to shovel.
ReplyDeleteand--its only Saturday--Lordy Be!!! ALL DAY I thought it was Sunday--Nice that yu can get out-- It will help to make a new yu--- Hugs, Lynda--So much snow falling here--
DeleteYes, winter here, too. About 3 in. of snow on the ground and still snowing. Not a lot, but just enough to know it’s winter.
ReplyDeleteYes! Polly Jackson was indeed a very strong, brave woman!
Sure hope that Himself can attend the Lodge on Monday. And for sure, it's not a good situation that he gets after Lopez w/his cane, but YOU stay safe!
HUGS my dear.

ReplyDeleteLynda, my dear friend. It is Saturday. It happens to me sometimes, too. I am either behind a day in my mind or ahead one day. Someone points it out and I am embarrassed. Don't you be embarrassed, though. I'm just pointing out that we're all in the same boat at our ages.
Paid bills today. Received an order of groceries with free delivery. I have the app for that until next August. Then I have to renew. Two of my items were out of stock...my ice cream and a chicken pot pie. So easy for one person just to pop it in the microwave.
Thinking about a cat tree for Sushi. They probably all have lower 'steps' for fat or elderly kitties. They're made of some kind of light wood with scratching post on them. All you would need to do to protect it from Lopez is take the sides of the box the tree came in, cover the lower steps, tack the box parts up the sides to cover the lower part of the tree.
I hope I didn't confuse you.
Please be careful shoveling. You know how: Short spurts with breaks between, not heavy loads on your shove, protect your back, stay hydrated.
We care about you! {{{HUGS}}}
Holy Cow--It is not SUNDAY--LOLOLOL-----=Oh man!--I guess yu can tell that life has been pretty bad here with Himself--LOL--Oh my Lord--So happy yu told me I still can have a another Sunday to-morrow--LOL And-=-It has snowed ALL day--I am SO SO happy that yu care about me--- I cannot begin to tell yu how difficult Him self is to deal with--I will be SO happy to see Monday and the Day Program-Maybe I will never pick him up-=-LOLOL-- No--I will-- but--it is tempting--=- Hugs to yu--=Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: I see you've already been told it's Saturday. Now you have an extra day to do stuff except it's another day before himself can go to the Lodge. Hopefully not enough snow that you can't get to the Lodge. Poor Lopez and the cane. My dog gets scared of mine as I have a tendency to drop when trying to get out the door but never hit her! Hope your son is going to help with the snow as it's too much for you. Have a good night. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrenda --Yu have a cane also---Fred has them all over the house--and they fall and bang on the floor---Yes oit will be Sunday tomorrow--AGAIN--LOL--Lynda
DeleteGood evening, Lynda! We have flurries in Ohio and 31 so it's pretty decent. Little Lopez is just too cute in his parka! I know it keeps him warm and easier to get him out. I hope Himself can make it to the program soon. It will help his mood and give you a break. Tomorrow is our favorite day. Read a book, take a nap, all the resty things that you need and deserve! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHOPEFULLY TOMORROW WILL BE GOOD--Day program Monday--happy 'bout that--snowed here all day-lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, for whatever reason I didn't receive your Saturday post. I was concerned about you. Glad to know you're OK except for difficulties with himself and snow ggrrr.
ReplyDeleteTake care
Hugs
