Turn up the music, and dance---

 Good morning--It is daylight--We do have snow---  not a lot--but about 3-4 inches--AND COLD!-
(not us--but-it's everywhere else)--

Our winter has begun-- The past 2 months were nice--a bonus-- I have cleared off the bricks in front of the garage-- The snow that fell is light---The 2 boys , (as in dogs)-have been -out-- but will have to go out again in a few minutes--

Well, I just had a call from the LODGE--- where Himself has his Day Program--  They informed me,  it is cancelled for to-day-- Almost 2 weeks and he hasn't been able to go---too bad as it has helped him  so much--and , helped me also--Oh well--I shall manage---I  will be able to take  the boys (as in dogs) out again--

I want to cry---- but--no point in that is there?---maybe shedding justa few tears  ????
There are times one  must just let off some steam-- *S*

Anyway, life doesn't always turn out the way it is planned-- and I am a firm believer that things usually happen for a reason--- one must carry on and accept the inevitable--(I'm sure my Mom just put that in my head!)--
-- really, I do want to stand outside , and shout--just like OLIVE , in the meme above--

Sadie will be so happy that I am here to give her a hand--- The 2 boys (as in dogs)-will get an extra play outside--I will be able to get my pot of chilli made for supper--and perhaps I can even get the Xmas stuff off the mantle, and put it away--

We are only as strong as we decide to be--Wear your mask if you are  out in  public---  You do not want to be sick--The hospitals around here are overwhelmed with  virus'---smile at some older person -Their life might be lonely--
You know,  these women above, have the right idea-turn up some music---A_N_D-- DANCE---

  1. Go outside and shout all ya want….you're entitled to a bit of free time… so, it IS disappointing when Fred can’t go to his program!!! So, yep…nothing to do but roll with the punches and make the best of it! After all…TODAY is the day we are living and lucky we are, huh?! ❤️Eissa7

  2. I find winter so depressing and anxiety causing. Just want to pull the covers over my head and sleep until spring. However, I agree. We have to get up and face the day, be grateful we are alive, and a little dancing or other exercise is always a good thing. I am sorry Fred can’t go to his activities. Sending hugs and positive energy.

  3. I suspect that all the sickness going around is the reason for the cancellation. It is probably for the best although it is hard to accept at the moment. You just have to flow with the tide some days - be careful outside so you don't fall.

It is colder here in southern Illinois but nothing like what you have. We are desperate for rain or snow or any moisture but it keeps skipping over us. D

  4. It's Kathy. I'm so sorry that Fred can't go to the Day Program but it probably is because of all the illnesses. I wasn't too happy when I went to my bible study on Wednesday. One of the women had quite a cold. She did wear a mask but it made me really uncomfortable. I'm praying I won't get sick. They are saying we have snow coming but I'm with you. I haven't missed the snow and cold that we usually have now - although the ice fishermen and hockey players are not happy! We do have an ice rink nearby that has the ability to chill the ice from underneath - so people can skate if they want to! Yes, I would also like someone to say "have some chocolate and here's $6 million"! I hope today is a quiet day for you with no issues to contend with. Chili sounds so good - I need to make some, maybe next week! Take care.

    1. Oh Kathy--Life goers on eh??- I was upset about that Day Program--but--it wasn't meant to be I suspect--It gave me a chance too to clean the driveway a bit-- We got maybe 3-4 inches of light flurries over nite-Lynda

  5. That is a darned shame that Himself’s Lodge day is cancelled, but pretty sure it’s due to all the sickos out there! No point getting elderly people close to each other and care givers who have been out in public all together for several hours in close contact. Just like being in school. Plus if he gets sick, you can get sick, too. Covid and RSV has filled up the Dallas area hospitals too. I still get grocery deliveries, have not been inside a grocery store in 4 years!! Take care, extra cold stuff coming soon to our continent!

Yes-- He was already to go to that Day Program--but--as I keep harping on--="Everything happens for a reason"--so- it my be for the best--We have had 6 shots and wear masks--=-but-- one never knows eh--Our DRs offices plus hospitals are full of COVID----I just took Himself in and we bought a coffee and brought it home here--Thank yu for being here--Hugs, Lynda

  6. Chocolate and six mil would do it for all of us!
Too bad about Himself's program! I am surprised that where you live that little bit of snow would cause it to be cancelled Maybe the lady who runs it was not available.
Doggies will have fun outside. Do you put vaseline on their paw pads before they go out in the ice and snow?
Just chillin' here. My friend put my walker in the car and went with me to pick up an order at Walmart. She is also going to take my garbage and recyclables out again. I paid her $10. Her income is not what mine is.
Woke up a smidge less painful this morning. I will get there.
Here's to hoping you get some of your chores done and time to rest, too. Music would help the pets an Himself relax, right? Maybe some piano playing? You could get yourself a youtube channel so we all can here you!
    We have no snow yet, but a small amount is predicted. {{{HUGS}}}

  7. Well darn that Lodge is cancelled. At least they let you know before you headed up there. I know Lodge time is a win win for both of you.
Dance to some quick stepping music. Can't hurt. Maybe play the piano for the boys.
Clearing the mantle of Christmas stuff is a good idea.
    I made chili too.
Heck ya...go outside and scream. If a few tears helps, by all means have at it. I so wish I was closer as I'd give you in person hugs and sit with Fred.
Please get some ice grippers for your shoes. I'm concerned about you falling out there.
Overcast in St.Louis AGAIN. Snow, rain something predicted later today and next week. I hate snow.
Just home from weights and toning class. I always feel better after I've gone.
    Enjoy your day.
    Be safe
    LOTS OF HUGS
I wouldn't need the chocolate but could sure use the 6 million.
    Hugs dear lady

  8. That’s it exactly . . . have a cry but keep going. A good cry is cathartic. I can provide a virtual hug and virtual chocolate, but no 6 million. LOL

So sorry that the Lodge isn’t a possibility again this week. *SIGH* Such a good thing for Himself and a break for you.

  9. Hi Lynda: Too bad daycare was cancelled again. Maybe staff have covid or the flu. But that doesn't help you any. They need to try to have everyone wear a mask. Would Fred wear one? He really needs to go for his own mental health. Maybe Monday it will be available again. Picture looks cute with Lopez and Beau laying at himselfs foot! Enjoy your chili! And go outside and scream for your mental health!! Hugs Brenda

  10. What a cute pic of the boys! They seem to get along so well. Sorry Himself did not get to go to the program today. Hopefully, you still got things done and made your chili. It is chili weather, for sure! It is 29 here in Ohio but that is probably warm to you. lol I never stopped wearing a mask. I did see a map today of a week ago and then this week, the viruses are spreading much more in the last week. I figure it will continue through the winter. We all must be careful. Some say their case was mild but I don't want to find out! Everyone is different. Enjoy your chili and rest!:)
