"Up and at-er"----WE CAN !

Hello to you all---It's early here-- almost 8am--  and I slept in---Well. I woke up, and then rolled over and went back to sleep---and Son#2 called me , and woke me up---  thank goodness! -I try to get the washing into the machine--and then to the dryer--all before 7am , when the power goes up-- We almost made it---but, it was a rush--

I remember , years go, Dad would put some opera  singer on, and play it really loud, to try to rouse my sister and I--It usually worked--got us out of bed--I think this singer was from a "Readers Digest" album--Remember how you used to be able to buy these long playing records of different types of music??-I think they were Dad's favourites--

I live in fear  that something  huge and vital will break --stop working--  in this house--But, then I worry about pretty much everything--always have---I saw the above meme--and thought I should have it pasted   in my brain---"Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes---  EVEN YOU!"------and, so true--

The 2 dogs must get out-- everyone is fed--- water changed in all their bowls-- AND--It is himself's DAY PROGRAM this morning-- so, that is exciting--AND HE IS GOING---  which is so good also--AND--Sadie is scheduled to arrive here  any time-- she is going to dust the dining room--and the  main floor bathroom--

I think we all should remember the above---  WE CAN DO THIS---  BECAUSE WE HAVE TO---- Lord love a Duck---There are days I wonder if I can---Do YOU?----  NO "wondering" allowed--because, we CAN DO THIS-----WE HAVE TO-------
I AM WOMAN-HEAR ME ROAR____

There are times I  think--I am sorta older than old-------then-----I remember-----

  1. Good morning Lynda! Thank you for the day’s inspiration. I live outside of Boston… maybe I have a little Mass accent! You’re too funny. Please send Sadie to Boston. I could use her help today.
    Enjoy your Monday.

  2. Good morning! Yay for the program day and Himself will be happy! Glad the pilot made it home. It’s good you slept in for a change. You needed it. The broken sleep from Lopez is hard. We got a dusting of snow in Ohio last night. Just looking at it while I sip coffee from my hello kitty mug that my nephew gave me for Christmas. Lol I will be Sadie soon, too. We must carry on! Enjoy your day!:)

  3. Good morning
Guess what...the SUN is out YAY. It's been days without. Makes me feel better already.
Loved ALL your inserts today. So true about unplugging stuff, including us.
Himself out of the house this morning will hopefully help make a smoother afternoon.
Enjoy today. Don't pile too much work into your day. My Sadie has cleaning chores to get on then off to the gym after drops, meds and food for my himself.
Thanks for today's positivity and inspiration. You're the best. Stay strong. YES we can do this.
    Hugs

  4. I know. Had the house painted this past Fall, and that was expensive, but still have more projects. One @ a time! Always something w/a house.

Hope Himself has a good day @ his program. So good that is available.

We definitely ARE strong! God knew what he was doing when he created when he made us ladies!

  5. It's Kathy. I love all the memes and certainly sayings I need to think about today. I wasn't feeling very well during the night and was up several times. Just getting back to sleep about 7 am when I heard Daisy throwing up. NOT what I wanted to deal with but poor little Daisy. I think she gets nervous when her mom isn't well! We're both okay now and THE SUN IS SHINING! We are expecting mid-40's today, definitely a walk this afternoon! I hope you enjoy your time while himself is at the Day care place. Have a wonderful day!

  6. Hi Lynda: Glad you got some extra sleep although I doubt it was much. I'm like you - hate to sleep in. You needed it after Lopez. Good that himself could go to daycare today. Gives you a chance to do some stuff! And the sun is out!!! Enjoy. Have a good night. Brenda

  7. I Am Woman was a dear friend's favorite song. I played it for her when she was in intensive care in the hospital after brain surgery to repair an aneurysm. She responded to nothing else. The nurses were amazed that she sang along with the whole song. Here's a link to copy and paste: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrVLL7soS1U
I sometimes do it at karaoke. Making my brother understand...I am strong, I am invincible, I am woman...PLEASE listen.
It is 50F here. That's 10C! What's with this crazy weather? That temp sure feels different, though, than if it was March. Someone said something about El Nino. Gotta look that up.
Great that Himself is having day care. And Sadie there already? No wonder she didn't show up here. I had to actually sweep, dishes, straighten up, etc.
I do my best not to worry. In my little corner of the world, all is pretty good. I trust...my maker, my intuition, etc.
I think sometimes you are getting better at that.
    Time to meditate now, then prepare for supper. I think I'm just gonna have tuna salad on whole grain bread and chips for supper. Maybe some fruit with it. {{{HUGS}}}
