It's Kathy. You are a very strong woman, doing all that! Makes me realize just how lucky I am. I'm sorry himself didn't get to McDonald's for breakfast - maybe another day when there's not so much snow. Yes, we are very lucky. I can't ever remember another winter with so little snow and nothing in the forecast. The very cold temps have allowed the lakes to finally freeze over. There have been a lot of people falling in because the ice has been so unsafe! I hope your day settles down and you can relax a bit this afternoon!
ReplyDeleteKathy--Yes the day settled down-- It seems that when it nows so hard, it is so much work--- but--- it all worked out-- Lynda
DeleteHey, sometimes it's ok to stop and feel your emotions. Cathartic! BUT we are strong, YOU are strong and made it through a challenging day. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteHUGS and hope today is at least a sunshiney one!

How was your day Barb?-- Any day it snows hard here, seems to begin a bad day--but--it improved as the day went on --Yeah!! Lynda
DeleteI loved all the inserts today. I so admire your strength and kindness along with your humor. I thought I remembered reading about a lady recently who was willing to sit with himself. Perhaps she'd be willing to take himself on a coffee run. Maybe not, if driving conditions are less than ideal.
ReplyDeleteKeep sparkling and shining brightly.
You ARE amazing and strong plus you figure it out so that's it is figureoutable lol.
Play your piano.
I like that himself took initiative and vacuumed. Yay
Hugs and blessings
All will be well, as the old hymn says. Sending vibes of "strong womanism" to you! I made it to and from the doctor's office and the grocery store this morning, so I'm feeling invincible in the icy roads section of the US. Tomorrow if I'm lucky, I'll get to the studio for my workout with the trainer!
ReplyDeleteHang in, and HUGS! Sunshine!
Sorry I missed yesterday, went to the dr. office to see nurse practitioner, ran EKG, Echocardiogram and blood work.
DeleteToday I propped my feet in the air, and as figured, went to sleep.
Hope one of the kids or a former patient will come take Himself to have breakfast. Is there somewhere you could post to see if someone would volunteer?
Stay strong Lynda....
Hi Darlene-- The day got better and better as it progressed-- Praise God!-- I had that Echo thing too--haven't had the results yet--It wasn't a terrible thing--but took almost an hour-- I took HImself to town this afternoon He just needs to get out to see a bit of the world--Lynda
DeleteYu are invincible for sure Barb-Driving on icy roads can be a challenge for sure_Lynda
DeleteTrying to reply to yu Barb-- Yu are good to get out on the icy roads- Lynda
DeleteMarti here. You guys in Canada, where you live, anyway, you all must be as tough as nails, because even 10 YEARS ago, I could not do all that you do, and I'm only 65. We just had a small 3 bedroom house and driveway, but my husband who was much older could not shovel snow, he had a bad heart, and I have bad arthritis and a knee replacement. I could not DO it. I remember one time there was ice on top of the snow, and I could not even make a dent. We were trapped in our own house. I came in the house and cried (I suffer from depression anyways). We finally had to call a service. There used to be kids who would go door to door begging to do your drive. Not anymore. Neither of us could cut grass, either. Both of us had grass allergies and his heart wouldn't let him. We had to pay to have that done too. Houses are for the birds, LOL. Condo living for me, man! :)
ReplyDeleteCondo living sounds great to me---- I hate shovelling snow-- and I use the EGO snowblower but I'm kinda scared of it---but, I used it today--Never in a million years did I ever think Himself would get this way--so--yes, life is hard--Lynda
DeleteSis, i think we all do idiotic things sometimes. I k ow i do.
ReplyDeleteIf i lived closer, i would be happy to go to breakfast with himself!
I do feel sorry for the animals outside in this cold. Wouldn't it be nice if we could hibernate like the bears do?
in the morning I go to Walmart to pick up my new monitor.
Sadie helped me out a lot today. Every day I find I can do more.
Funny! I just cussed at my Kindle keyboard AND IT ENTERED THE WORDS I CUSSES! What in the world did I push?!
{{{HUGS)}}}
Sistah--Susie----- LOL--- I love it!!! -I must get Sadie- in here and do some cleaning--like--a room a day---You are good to hear me that Himself needs to get out more--hard on snowy days-=-as I'm doing the snow----Good for yu--Your new monitor---You need that!--- Hopefully no snow falling tomorrow --Hugs, Lynda--P.S. Your Lucky is beautiful!
DeleteHi Lynda: You need to get more help with shoveling what your son can't plow. You are very strong and don't ever think differently. I couldn't do anything even close to what you do. Can't anyone in the family take himself to McDonalds when you can't? Hope the rest of the day is better. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteOh Brenda--I wish someone else could get him there--An outing really helps him-I don't think kids understand-- Anyway--- Only one more day and it's FRIDAY--Day Program--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! I hope your day got better! You have a lot on your plate and it can be too much at times. I admire your strength to keep on keeping on. Sending Ohio hugs your way!:)
