An annoying noise in the front seat!

Good morning---  very cold outside--It's minus 16C-- cold!   Once it gets down around there, it doesn't matter what the temperature  says----It's just bad! --

This morning, I took Himself to town--- and I took 2 water samples up to the Public Health office--This was my 3rd attempt to turn the samples in, to be tested---- For various reasons, I could not leave the other water samples- either the door was locked--or they send them out another day--FINALLY---- The water samples are there!  We have a well- and  we have a system in the basement to  make sure our water is alright to drink--We need to  check it periodically---Of course, Himself used to do all that----and , now it is up to me-

And --on the way home, a pick- up truck was in the ditch--It looked like maybe she had swerved --perhaps to avoid a moose--I have seen a few moose  in that area--trying to cross the road----but--who knows eh, what made her hit the ditch-- she had help there, so we did not stop--
AND-----It is hair day--good too, because right now  I look exactly like the Lady in the above picture--It's called, "Snow shovel " Hair----but--I really want---"Movie star Hair"--  (as if eh?---- at my age?)
I can dream eh?----LOLOLOL----Well, ya never know--Her hair  looks like a bit of a mess  but does look good on her---What about the Lady below?--

I must tell you also, that little Lopez, the  Chihuahua,  had a bath this morning--I must bathe him more often-- He did enjoy it!
So, Is it cold in your area?--Are you enjoying the day??---I have decided to try very hard not to worry to-day--about everything--  What will happen, will happen--hard for me to do tho---We have a lot of snow now---which means a lot of work--  Son#1 was here yesterday to help with the driveway-

I really did not do the above---  I figure most men believe they are better drivers than their other half, which is extremely annoying, when I am driving our car---I have learned however, that it is best to just pretend I do not hear a comment from the passenger sitting beside me--
-------- ----------------thought the pooch above, with the  flip flop on his head looks  funny--

Lunch is ready I hear ---- Enjoy your day--Laugh a little--  maybe chat with a Senior citizen-- They are struggling , perhaps ,  trying to drive, with some annoying noise in their front seat!

  1. I laughed about the annoying noise in the front seat. Too funny. And the decked out Chiwauwau with no comment. That should fix the problem.
Enjoy hair day. It's your time for you. Yay
I do hope you can go all day without worrying about anything. Can't change it anyway, so may as well just let it go.
Yes, it's still crazy cold here. Many people are experiencing problems with burst pipes. So far all is good at my home.
Certainly glad to hear your son is doing your driveway.
Glad you finally were able to drop off your water samples. Hoping all testing turns out good.
    Enjoy your hair outing.
    Be safe, warm and well.
    Hugs and blessings

  2. Good morning!
Today is another snow day for many school districts. The snow and ice makes travel very difficult. And, it is cold….
My hair appointment has been rescheduled twice now. Oh well, not going anywhere.
I plan on getting the sewing machine out. I have cleaned cupboards and closets all week. Feel like I am nesting and hibernating!
My 90 pound golden doodle is hating the snow on his feet. I had to also shovel a path for him to do his business. So funny…. Never thought that I would shovel a pathway on grass.
    Have a great day! Jacquie

  3. It's Kathy. I think it's wise of you to just ignore the comments from the passenger in the front seat. I never drive when my husband and I go someplace together but a few years ago he was very sick so I had to drive to all the doctor appointments. I could tell he wanted to say something now and then but thankfully he didn't. It was hard enough to be driving so much again when it had been years of not having to drive. Enjoy Hair Day!

    1. Hope your noise doesn't distract to much...ignoring is good.
I called David on the back seat driving and told him I had been driving since age 9, so I think I'm capable...he finally quit.

  4. The pooch looks a bit like he's wearing the Pope's mitre! So yes, a bit funny!

Glad you got out and back in safely. Hope the hair day has made you feel chipper!

And yes, we had a "heat wave" on Wednesday, and it's not "too bad" today, but our deep cold is coming back for the weekend. Monday we are supposed to thaw again. What with the deep cold and the thaws and the re-freezing... we are deep into pot hole building season!

It's about a month late arriving, but I think we are starting to acclimate!

Hugs, and stay safe and warm!

    2. We can't see them here, either, but knowing how freezing, thawing, refreezing works to expand them, we know they are being created under there!

  5. Hi Lynda: It's cold here too although no where near as bad as you have it. Glad you got himself out for a drive. Should make him feel better. It's good that Lopez likes a bath. Not all dogs do including mine. Glad son #1 helped with the snow. You still do too much shoveling though. Enjoy your visit to the hairdresser. Hugs Brenda

  6. Lynda, you have a great sense. Of humor!
That dog in your meme is wearing a croc i gave favored Crocs for years.
It has snowed a bit more here, but is a smidge (take off the s on the front of that word and you have my childhood nickname) warmer and no terrible wind.
Picked up my new monitor. It seems great, but now I can't get the computer to power on!
Will end up taking it in to my computer dude eventually. Sigh.
We never bathed our doggies in the winter, but I am sure you made sure Lopez was thoroughly dry before he went outside again. Glad he enjoyed. How about Beau?
    Time for my daily meditation. And wrap up with something. Our heat is still not right. {{{HUGS}}}}

  7. I am sure you are glad to get the water samples done and hair, too! I like that messy hairdo. It looks sassy. lol My yorkies need their bath. It is back breaking, for sure. Oh, that poor woman in the ditch. It's 22 in Ohio this evening. It is warmer than it has been all week with single digits. We are getting 2-5 inches tonight through tomorrow and a winter weather advisory. Yes, it was a good day. Sadie just took care of laundry and other house stuff along with the doggies. I hope you had a nice day!
