Good Day to you all-- We have a sunny, VERY COLD, day--- It must be minus 15C--- very cold on your fingers--Beau does not need a coat, but little Lopez does.----- He has to go out again--
Yesterday, we did manage to survive the storm--- with the help of Son#1 and his big Kaboda--Bless his heart! He ploughed the driveway-I went out in the afternoon and cleared a path to the propane tank, in case Katrina, comes--the cute little girl, who drives the huge Propane truck in here, and drags what looks like a very long heavy hose across all the snow to the tank-- As Dad used to say, she is about as "big as a Wiffet", which I just found out, is a small dog---
It is HAIR DAY___and I resemble the Lady in the picture below--'specially after shovelling all that snow yesterday--
How is your day going ?---Did you get up on "the right side of the bed?" (Dad used to ask us that also)_-We do try our best--in spite of everything that we think we have to do in one day---Wouldn't it be wonderful, if we had a "fairy godmother"--?------I keep telling myself, that I really do not need to get everything done in a day--There is always to-morrow--Himself seems good this morning----The nurse was here to bandage his finger (that Lopez damaged)--says it is healing well----- There is one problem however, about to occur in the next few days----I'll show you--OHHHhhhhh-------- NOOoooooooooo-- MORE SNOW on it's way---- with WIND, I hear--I must try to not think of all that heading this way--AGAIN-----------Maybe more power outages--------Good thing I will have y'all to chat with--if the power stays on----- Lord Love a Duck! Lots to think about---but---- not think about too much-----because ---- NO SNOW TO_DAY---and--- THIS IS TO_DAY___Almost lunch time here--Sadie (who, as yu know, is really me!)-- is banging at the door saying the bottom level of the house needs vacuuming----
We are expecting bad weather this weekend also with snow and bitter cold temps/high winds...yuck. We need snow to overcome the drought but the cold cold temps could pass by for m,y part...got to go do some walking here on the inside. If I fall again, only son in law here to help pick me up.............poor guy...............lol
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day, and leave the vacumn and play your piano...the lower level will be fine til tomorrow.
Yes I heard that most areas need the snow-- Do not fall-- Wear big boots--LOLOL--- (People in the north really dress for the cold winters--_)I look like an Eskimo when I go outside-LOL--Lynda
DeleteYou bet we will get through our day with smiles on our faces, Lynda!
ReplyDeleteSadie or no, snow or no, as long as the heat stays on!
We are below freezing here, too, and have several inches of snow in the forecast. Right now, though, there is full sun and beautiful blue skies.
Sadie's twin is taking a day off here. As it is, I need to do a couple errands. That's enough for me.
Hope you don't need to shovel again, at least for today.
I have never dealt with propane. Hope your little girl comes. She must be strong.
Always had a natural gas stove, but here we have electric.
Sounds like Lopez and Himself do not have an ideal relationship. Happy the finger is better, and that all five of you have a wonderful day. I promise I will, too. All for now, sis. {{{HUGS}}}
Yu always get me laughing--- "as long as there is heat"---LOLOL- but-- I do agree-- Maybe Sadies twin were out together--she didn't get here either--- Lopez doers not like Fred's cane- and when he sees that cane being lifted up in the air--poor wee Lopez attacks Fred--- Life is not quiet around here-- nor boring--I never dreamt in my SR. years, I'd be going thru all this--LOLOL--- Anyway--I washed the car too on the way home-- always look for yer comments girl-- hugs, Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I'm a big fan of letting things go until tomorrow. Never used to be but I just can't get it all done anymore! It's cold here too today with snow on the way but at least we have sunshine. Tom and I got new tires on the car this morning and did some errands but now I really want to take a nap! Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteNaps are the best!!! I read and then the book falls out of my hand--Day Program to-morrow morning--YEAHHHHH--Hugs, Lynda
DeleteYippee hair day...your favorite day.
ReplyDeleteExtreme cold, high winds and crud falling from the sky predicted for St.Louis this weekend. Hoping you don't get anything to shovel. Happy your son came with Kabota to clear driveway. Yay.
Happy to hear Fred's finger is healing. He and Lopez aren't pals, unfortunately.
Stay warm and safe.
Keep the positive attitude. You're the BEST.
Play your piano. Vacuum tomorrow lol
Hugs and blessings
Himself goes to his Day Program to-morrow morning- my salvation--My salvation!--- and another storm to-morrow nite-- yuck! ---Yu are going to get rough weather I guess also--Lynda---In love your positive comments--

ReplyDeleteYeah for hair day! Enjoy your pampering!
YES we’re going to have the same thing . . . about 1 foot more of snow and wind . . . that means drifting snow. THEN frigid temperatures, so the snow will have to be cleared quickly. DANG! But we can do it!
Hang in there.
Tell Sadie not to work too hard!
Hugs

Lordy Be Barb! Yer weather resembles here--LOL----=and yes-it felt great to get some "girl talk" at the hair dressers--I go to her house-- Lynda
DeleteGood evening, Lynda! I know you enjoyed your hair day! It's the little things that makes us happy and helps keep the stress under control. I know you don't look like the picture. Your hair always take great care of your hair. It sounds like you are cold and snowy there. The rain sets in tomorrow afternoon here in Ohio and the cold hits after the weekend. No snow on the ground and 31 right now. Nice to hear Himself and his finger are healing good. That little Lopez protects his wonderful mama! He is such a sweet dog. Beau seems so relaxed and so does Sushi. They are good company and good listeners by the piano! Have a great night!
ReplyDeleteGod to hear from you-- WE are expecting a storm AGAIN--to-morrow night--Hopefully we don't lose power-Lynda
DeleteStay safe and warm in that storm. Oh, no! Can't lose power, again!
DeleteThinking about how you take your dogs out even in yukky weather! I know it is good exercise and healthy to get outside, but I am thankful that I just have 2 spoiled cats that don't need to go outside! Must admit I don't enjoy cleaning litter boxes, but better than taking them outdoors! Plus they are good company for me - I talk to them all the time hahaha!
ReplyDeleteSandra --I talk to both dogs and the cat-- Beau understands englishI think--=LOL----and yes, yu are so fortunate that yu don't have to take the cats out--Lynda --You are doling well Sandra--It must be hard at times-- I understand--Lynda
DeleteBrrrr! January is being January after we had some teasing weather earlier in the month. I'm not letting The Prisoner out today as I woke to about the same temperature as you report, with snow falling and blowing around. COLD. I didn't even put the garbage to the curb last night because I didn't want to have to pull the can back into the garage this morning!
ReplyDeleteStay safe up there in the frozen North! (( hugs ))
