I want to thank you---

Time to rise and shine-- hard tho as the bed is so warm---and it is still  kinda darkish out there--The 2 boys (dogs) have not been out yet---  Lopez had me up around midnight-- good little fella tho to wake me up and  get him outside--  so--there I was, in my nightgown, and parka and boots--wandering around the snowy front lawn--

He did do his business---  so----  bless the little fella to know he had to get out of his crate and get outside-
Son#2 on our rt---- is now in England-- flew overnight from Calgary--The picture below is the sun coming up as he was landing  in London--He calls it--" Sunrise over the Atlantic--"--

When in Calgary, he was eating Chia Seed Pudding and fruit----He says Chia is Mexican Warrior seed , and high in protein-
To-day Himself goes to the Day Program-- at the lodge---It will be a busy morning for me, driving him there,  speaking with the head of the Lodge, and getting back home, tidying the house, and going back to pick him up-Everyday seems to be busy---  Yesterday was hair day--and I ran a few errands while in town--took some items to the SALLY ANNE--did some banking, grabbed a couple meals from Swiss Chalet, for dinner (2 can eat for the price of one)---and all was well when I returned home--Praise the good Lord--

I do appreciate all your comments--  that you take time  to read the blog---You  do brighten my life---Life in "the older than old " lane , seems easier , when it is shared--just to know that I am not alone  going through everyday with all it's trials and tribulations,  means so much to me--- There are days that I do not feel I am  ever going to accomplish  all, and then I read that we are all in the same boat---Courage is going on when I don't have that strength-It helps to know  I am not alone--so thank you to all---

Time to get the boys (dogs) out---  Get this body onto action-------- I hope that your day is a good one--- If you see a Pilot--or a Police person----  or---even an older person, I hope you give them a smile---It might be "ME"----
BE STRONG -----  WE ARE ALIVE____WE CAN DO MORE THAN WE EVER BELIEVED WE COULD!

  1. Have a wonderful, busy day. I can't believe how little snow you have had this year - - I remember years where it is so thick on the roof it has been a problem getting it down. I live in the part Illinois that has been spared the snow and ice this year. N and S of us have had it but it seems to skip over. Luckily we have had rain for the past week and it is more than welcome. We had very temps but not like

you and no problems with transportation. Laughd so hard yesterday at the cartoon about tupperware. How true those were. D

    1. It is raining here to-day--so not like January-- The snow is dripping from our steel roof--Yu remember the guys coming to clear the roof , do yu??---- And the past few yrs we have not needed that done--It must be climate change which is kinda scare-y----Himself has been good this afternoon but he was at the Day Program at the Lodge--makes such a difference--==-=- Lynda

  2. Good morning, Lynda. You do have a busy day. It may make time pass quickly so you'll again be able to crawl into that warm bed!
I already have a load of laundry done. Caught the laundry room empty!
Next will be more Sadie stuff...dishes, garbage and recyclables, etc.
The weather here is supposed to be 40F (4.444C) again. It is misting a little, melting the little snow that's left. I believe we have at least another week of this.
Himself will be in a better mood due to the day program. And you have meals for dinner...2 for 1! That's great.
Love the sunrise over the Atlantic!
I've seen recipes for chia seed pudding.
What is Sally Anne? A consignment shop? Or like our Good Will stores,...a charity?
Lopez is a good boy. Beau and Sushi are, too, I'm sure. What would we do without them? Fewer chores, but less love.
    Lucky is at me to play. He wants my attention on him! {{{HUGS}}}

  3. Good job, "stayin' alive" as we sing to ourselves! Love the photo of sunrise from the air... how brilliant the colors are!

I'm busily building another pot of soup today, free lansing this time, with what's in the fridge and the pantry, and a broth bomb named "The Ruebenator". Supposed to season it like a Reuben sandwich, but I didn't follow their recipe, just used what I have on hand.

Soup is so good for a winter gray day, isn't it?

  4. It's Kathy. I love the courage saying - so true. It's warm here but so wet outside. We had rain last night. Can't say I've ever seen rain in January. But the problem is, Daisy loves to walk around in the mud and it feels like our whole yard is mud. I thought about taking her for a walk but it feels like just too much so I picked up sticks and she wandered around. I hope it's been a good day so far. Yes, we are all in the same boat. I honestly don't know how you get it all done! That sunrise photo is amazing! So beautiful!

  6. Hi Lynda: Love the sunrise picture. The Chia seed pudding looks good. Just started eating some oatmeal that has chia seeds in it. Never had them before. Hope they help to get stronger and more energy! Poor Lopez having to get up again at night - was he getting fed stuff he shouldn't have again? Glad things are going well with the day program. Hope there is nothing going on at the Lodge that you need to get together with the head of the Lodge. Have a good night. Hugs Brenda

  9. How many days a week does Himself get to go to school? I bet he really looks forward to getting out and talking to others. It sure gives you a break.
Are you expecting snow soon?? It is rainy still here, quite foggy the last few days, but look out for Feb. and March. The worst snows etc that I remember hit in March.
I can't hardly fathom David will soon be gone a year.
We must all stick together to talk and help one another through the tough spots.
Prayers for you Lynda..........have a great weekend.
