Have a wonderful, busy day. I can't believe how little snow you have had this year - - I remember years where it is so thick on the roof it has been a problem getting it down. I live in the part Illinois that has been spared the snow and ice this year. N and S of us have had it but it seems to skip over. Luckily we have had rain for the past week and it is more than welcome. We had very temps but not like
ReplyDeleteyou and no problems with transportation. Laughd so hard yesterday at the cartoon about tupperware. How true those were. D
It is raining here to-day--so not like January-- The snow is dripping from our steel roof--Yu remember the guys coming to clear the roof , do yu??---- And the past few yrs we have not needed that done--It must be climate change which is kinda scare-y----Himself has been good this afternoon but he was at the Day Program at the Lodge--makes such a difference--==-=- Lynda
DeleteGood morning, Lynda. You do have a busy day. It may make time pass quickly so you'll again be able to crawl into that warm bed!
ReplyDeleteI already have a load of laundry done. Caught the laundry room empty!
Next will be more Sadie stuff...dishes, garbage and recyclables, etc.
The weather here is supposed to be 40F (4.444C) again. It is misting a little, melting the little snow that's left. I believe we have at least another week of this.
Himself will be in a better mood due to the day program. And you have meals for dinner...2 for 1! That's great.
Love the sunrise over the Atlantic!
I've seen recipes for chia seed pudding.
What is Sally Anne? A consignment shop? Or like our Good Will stores,...a charity?
Lopez is a good boy. Beau and Sushi are, too, I'm sure. What would we do without them? Fewer chores, but less love.
Lucky is at me to play. He wants my attention on him! {{{HUGS}}}
Yu know it is plus 3 C outside--Everything is melting-I LOVE IT!-=-Himself was at the Day Program--YU have seen Chia Seed recipes?--Matt says its really good--- Himself seems OK at home here now---That program helps so much- The Sally Anne is a 2nd hand place--really called--SADD-=-Society for animals in Distress is what SADD stands for---And yes, I love Sushi --Her Mom died--- after she was dumped because she was pregnant--- hard to understand people who would do that---and Lopez--well, I feel he just needs to realize that we are not out to get him--He doesnt need to bite us--- and big Beau--=He just always needs food-- LOL--- Sadie came and washed the kitchen floor this morning--then left--said she was going to your house--LOL--- Fred going to have his nap--- so I shall lie down and read my book--Hugs to yu Sistah (from another Mother)-- Lynda
DeleteGood job, "stayin' alive" as we sing to ourselves! Love the photo of sunrise from the air... how brilliant the colors are!
ReplyDeleteI'm busily building another pot of soup today, free lansing this time, with what's in the fridge and the pantry, and a broth bomb named "The Ruebenator". Supposed to season it like a Reuben sandwich, but I didn't follow their recipe, just used what I have on hand.
Soup is so good for a winter gray day, isn't it?
Yes--"stayin alive"-- makes me want to sing that song-- Your soup sounds good--- I just might do that to-morrow-- grey and misty here--not like January but--- nice to see snow melting--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I love the courage saying - so true. It's warm here but so wet outside. We had rain last night. Can't say I've ever seen rain in January. But the problem is, Daisy loves to walk around in the mud and it feels like our whole yard is mud. I thought about taking her for a walk but it feels like just too much so I picked up sticks and she wandered around. I hope it's been a good day so far. Yes, we are all in the same boat. I honestly don't know how you get it all done! That sunrise photo is amazing! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKathy-it is very mild here also--The now is sliding from the roof--so wet outside--Lopez goes out but it is extremely wet--- I hope that yer day is going well--Lynda
DeleteAwww, glad that Lopez let you know he needed to go out! That’s a good boy.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pictures from son #2. As always, his food looks delicious.
Glad that today is a lodge day for Himself. Gives you a little break.
So happy that you had your hair day and all was well when you got home. PHEW.
All the memes are so great today! Thanks for sharing.
Hope it’s a good weekend for you. AND Himself, and of course. Beau and Lopez!

I hope yu all have a restful weekend-- Do yu read??-- and if yu are a book worm, what kind of books are yu reading?--just wondering--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: Love the sunrise picture. The Chia seed pudding looks good. Just started eating some oatmeal that has chia seeds in it. Never had them before. Hope they help to get stronger and more energy! Poor Lopez having to get up again at night - was he getting fed stuff he shouldn't have again? Glad things are going well with the day program. Hope there is nothing going on at the Lodge that you need to get together with the head of the Lodge. Have a good night. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteno--=- Yu know Brenda--I have accepted that Himself will; always have these outbursts--out of frustration--I must learn to not to let them upset me-- He doesn't remember them afterwards--I wanted help to look after him better-but-- it not there and I must accept this-- So far, we are managing--(Well sometimes I'm not )--- -so ever oneward here--lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! I hope all is well with you and you are having a nice day! It's nice that Himself had the program today. Every little bit helps. Cloudly with drizzle in Ohio and 42. MIld weather is nice. Thank you for blogging and sharing with us every day. It is appreciated. Good for you picking up dinner yesterday. It's nice to have a break whenever you can catch one. What a lovely sunrise. Your son sure does capture some nice pics. So nice of him to share. The chia pudding and fruit looks delish. I love stuff like that. Healthy stuff is good! Then, there's ice cream and pizza. lol It all balances out. I hope! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes, it really was a good day--because he gets out to mix with other people--Ahh--It's all of yu that helps me also-- Lynda

ReplyDeleteGreat inserts today.
So glad all was well when you returned from errands and hairdresser

Hugs and blessings
We CAN be strong--WE MUST be strong--- My kids are quite bossy--- I have to "stick to my guns""--LOL-- -- The Pilot returns back to Toronto tomorrow--and yes, Himself had a good afternoon after his Dy Care Program--Thy made Bird Feeders to-day----Isn't it weird that this program does him so much good?-- costs me about $150/month--- Lynda
DeleteHow many days a week does Himself get to go to school? I bet he really looks forward to getting out and talking to others. It sure gives you a break.
ReplyDeleteAre you expecting snow soon?? It is rainy still here, quite foggy the last few days, but look out for Feb. and March. The worst snows etc that I remember hit in March.
I can't hardly fathom David will soon be gone a year.
We must all stick together to talk and help one another through the tough spots.
Prayers for you Lynda..........have a great weekend.
Himself goes only 2 mornings a week-- I would send hIm more but this was his choice----=no--- no snow in the next week-- with above average temps----I like it!--LOLOL--Yes, March can be a blustery month-- Lynda
