I wonder what a cow thinks about?

Look carefully at that picture--  THERE IS NO MORE ICE!--The lake appears to be open fully--And if yu look  very hard, yu can see a dock-- I have that side of the house to rake yet, but the front is done, also the septic bed , and the dog pen--I am trying to get it all raked before the black flies appear.

Well, the Dr has ordered some tests on Himself-- one this Sunday---  He thinks he might've had a small stroke-- another test early June-- I'm not sure how that will go as Lopez will need care at home here--but-- somehow, it will happen.

So, a good mood to-day is so important--- trust yer instincts--  and stay strong in your beliefs ---Life has a way of turning around in a most unusual way--

I need to tell yu too, that my weight is now 180---  Lord love a Duck!--  I have lost 37 pounds--I have a seamstress  coming here on Monday to see what she can rectify for now, in my closet-- Right now I resemble the bag Lady when I get dressed, as my outfits are so large-- a size 16/18  down to a 12/14--

I thought yu might like to see this cow----LOLOL---  I wonder what a cow thinks about anyway?--He looks like he/she is wishing you all a "good Morning"--

  1. Good morning,
Love the most important decision is to be in a good mood!
No idea what cows think about...lol
Good on YOU on the weight/size loss. Awesome! Almost in the 170s HORAY
can Lopez stay in crate while Fred is having Testing? Or maybe Lopez can go to one of the boys homes for a bit. Not to worry. It will be OK. Likely good that Fred is going to have more tests. It will be OK.
Enjoy your day. Play your piano
    Count your blessings.
    Hugs dear Lynda

  2. Great news about the tests, Lynda. Don't you have a crate for Lopez to leave him in when you go with Fred? We used to leave our Chihuahua in her crate when we were going anywhere that she couldn't come.

Congrats on all the weight you've lost! That is awesome, I know it's hard to lose and when it happens, it's so exciting for us!!

Love and hugs to you, Fred and your fur babies. xoxo

  3. Good News about the tests . . . at least for the June one you have time to figure out a solution for Lopez. We have people in our town who will dog sit, cat sit, farm sit etc. . . .they advertise on the town Facebook page.. . .if not I agree with the crate.

  4. Thank Lady Luck, at least one test for Himself. Finally. You should not be struggling day after day. Good to use the crate for any dog. Take care.

  5. Oh my! I have been off the computer for awhile and just read your blogs. I am so sorry with what you are dealing with. Remember that we all love you and you have support here. Who ever is calling your daughter has never felt with dementia and they have a very boring life. It only takes one bad apple to turn a basket … or something like that! Ha ha.
Have a wonderful day. Chin up as my Mom used to say. What a great doctor to call you in the evening. Your daughter is probably feeling guilty for being so far away and taking it out on you. She should come and visit and see for herself. You could take a vacation and visit me in Idaho!!!!! And fantastic news with the sunshine!

  7. I'm giddy about your weight loss... so proud of you! You have reached my "wedding weight"... what I had dieted down to then. How awesome.

I hope the tests the doctor ordered for Himself help guide in next steps for his "care and feeding", and your peace of mind about the whole situation. Extra pets for Beau, Lopez and Sushi from me!

    and hugs for you!

  9. Here I go, Lynda. That looks like the photo on your "other" page. I love it. You are so lucky to live where you do...well, at least half the year! I feel the same about Minnesota and its many lakes.

I hope the tests show something that can be easily dealt with. Mine, too. My poop test was negative. I'm waiting now results of a CT scan on abdominal and pelvic area. A bone density scan is upcoming, and the doc wants me to see a nutritionist! I don't believe I will do that. She is investigating my broken rib and immense weight loss. From 252 to 129. The last 75 # in the space of a year...without trying to lose.

Doesn't it feel good to get into smaller clothes? We'd be fine if we could take the time and had the money to go on a leisurely shopping trip.

You may have to leave Lopez in the care of Beau. Or could he be dropped an your son's house while you are with Himself receiving his medical care?

    To quote a friend of min, "It's a good day to have a good day." We just gotta trust, I guess, that all will work out to our benefit. {{{HUGS}}}

  10. Hurray for no more ice. That’s progress.

Awesome that the Dr. did examine Himself, but so sorry to hear that he thinks he may have had a small stroke. *SIGH**

Congratulation on 180! That’s fabulous. Good job.

  11. Congratulations on your weight loss - that's great. I remember when I lost enough weight to have to wear a lower size of clothes - that's such a great feeling. And no ice - hurrah!!! It's warm outside for us today but it's been cloudy all day long. But I think spring has finally arrived!

  12. That is so AWESOME about your weight loss. Congratulations!!!

Glad the doctor has ordered more test for himself. Starting asking around your family to see if someone can take care of Lopez while you take himself for the tests. Praying someone will step up and help.

Again congratulations on losing all that weight. And you will soon have clothes that will fit and you will feel like a million bucks!!

  13. Congrats on the weight loss....hope Himself has a good weekend which will help you have one too...heard anymore from the daughter who so rudely thought you should leave. She does not have any idea what that
would do to her Dads' peace of mind.
Sending love n hugs your way.....
