VERY SHORT LATE BLOG!

I finally am on here, posting-- I haven't forgotten-just trying to do too much-----BUT----  I AM HERE!

I took Himself into town, to go to the bank---and, flying right across our path were geese-- in a "V" formation!   They are FINALLY arriving! --I believe they are a bit late too! ----I had to tell you--

So, Himself  has been acting up  a bit--poor fella-- He really isn't a happy camper some days-I try to ignore  his comments as I know it isn't really him --

Everything outside is so green--I love it! -Spring is such a wonderful time of year.  We have Robins, Humming Birds, Mosquitoes, black flies , and now Canada Geese.

Last evening I watched CNN and saw another shooting--  It is so sad !----so many young children-- What  is a solution to all this?--so so many guns---

I promised a short blog--so, before I get carried away on another tangent, I'll say good evening, where ever you are--  Hugs---- stay safe --and love one another-- Lord love a Duck! It's the right thing to do!

--my motto with Himself---I can do this!

  1. Wow! The geese have arrived, the geese have arrived! Awwwww, glad you took Himself w/you to town. It is HARD to ignore unpleasant behaviors, but you understand it’s not really the HIM you know and love. That’s hard. But you’re doing it.

Yes, another massacre. Just tragic, just unacceptable.

    Have a good evening!

    Hugs
    Barb

PS. Yes, survive now. Cry later.

  2. Thanks for taking time to touch base with us.
Glad you are both ok. Survive now, cry later covers a lot of things in life.
Spring is lovely....green and fresh....in spite of your black flies. Glad you saw your geese.
    Have a wonderful evening.

  3. Glad you finally got the geese. Love to share them! I'm glad you are able to remember that the behaviour is not him talking - makes life a little more acceptable for you. And you got him out which is good for him. Yes, the shootings in the states are awful.

  4. Glad you saw the geese, I miss seeing them, hearing them settle in, like they did in California. Yes, another Terrorist attack by a coward here in Texas, where they still like to hope it is 1922 instead of 2022.

  5. So good to see you made it in. I was worried about you. Good night and pleasant dreams. Do you know the serenity prayer? May be a good one to say these difficult days.

  7. Finally got my comment here to work last night instead of Messenger, so I am trying again.
I must admit I was a bit concerned you were so late blogging...you know with the issues you have with Himself and Lopez.
We finally have spring here to. I have picked lilacs twice. Will need to do it again tomorrow if the rain hasn't wasted them...or they are all ready to drop.
You probably could use some help around the house for Sadie and for the outside, too. Thank goodness your kids sometimes help.
Hope you get some YOU time, too...maybe with your music.
    I couldn't live without music! {{{HUGS{{{

  10. So glad the geese got there. They were here on the roof across the street where a new baby was expected, last week!

And I share your heart ache over the news. So, so wrong!

But as your post says: "Survive first, cry later"... or "Cry, but survive, anyway." It's hard. But we keep putting one foot in front of another.
