To-day is going to be a Perfect Day!

 So, I started--  to walk every day--only about 10 minutes--but---  it is a start--and I can make time for a 10 minute walk.---  It is Sunday-- and I am late posting-- because, I was cleaning the sunroom and I forgot--Lord love a Duck!

 Our sunroom used to be the front porch --- We used to sun on it--and we  would call it, "Porta Front Porcha"----  All the kids friends went to Porta Viarta etc---but, we sat on the front porch, and said we were at --Porta Front Porcha, because we could get a tan there and it sounded exotic.--   A few years ago, son #4 enclosed that front porch--

--We have had the AC on for the past few days-It feels like summer came very fast! ---

I am offa here to move hoses---I am trying to revive the front lawn after all that snow we had over the winter.

I hope you are enjoying yer Sunday---

  1. So nice to have a sunroom. We had a four season added to our home about 15 years ago and we love it. Well yesterday was the start of a bad week for us. DH was going to mow the lawn with the riding mower and for some reason the starter has given up. It was new 2 years ago so now he has to get that fixed hopefully tomorrow. This morning he wanted to go to the drug store to pick up his prescriptions and the garage door went half way up and stopped. He was able to get it back down manually but it isn't working now either. He had his meds delivered but since I now have no way of leaving the house we have an emergency call in to the garage door guy. What will the third thing be??? All a result of Friday the 13th??? Who knows.

  2. It’s hot, 95 degrees, feels like 101. Day almost half over, did some yard work, need to transplant some pots. Just hope the power stays on, so the AC works. Time to come up with some dinner. Nothing fancy. Did some weight lifting. Enjoy your evening, Lynda, and everyone. My goodness, that stuck garage door is a bummer, been there and paid fir that before!

  5. It was a perfect day for me, too. Great weather...mostly sunny, bit of a breeze, 70F. Took a nice nap due to being pooped after karaoke last night with my friends.
    Beyond Burger and spinach with chips for dinner, great movie on Amazon Prime and a last little while at the pc.
    Saw flowering trees today, but not my lilacs yet.
    We have two male mallard ducks on my building's property. Haven't seen their lady in a few days. Hopefully she s sitting on a nest with eggs. If I could post photos for you here, I would.
    Good job on your walking. Did the dreadmill die? I'm sure, though, that you'd rather be outside. {{{HUGS}}}

  7. Good Morning Lynda,
    I know it has been awhile since you've heard from me. Things are good here in Michigan. We had some really warm weather last week but today it is back to normal, hopefully it will get up to 70.
    I read about your big hole that appeared in your yard. That must have been a big shock! I am so glad that no one was hurt.
    My friend is going thru the same problems w/her husband as you are doing w/himself. He didn't recognize himself in his own wedding pictures. He sleeps most of the time-- and he shuffles when he walks. It is really sad to see because this was an engineer who held down 2 jobs most of his working life. Very meticulous in everything he did. He can't remember what he ate in the morning and Lee says he only has a few things he likes to eat.
    Well got to get going need to put drops in eyes and go for walk w/hubby, hope to talk soon.
