A shorter than short blog!

This is my Mom on the far left--the little girl in the  front is my young sister-- the older lady in the back was my Aunt Mabel from Buffalo, and on the rt is her daughter, Irene. It was taken at Niagara Falls. As yu can see, they all had coats on , because it was taken early Spring and it was cold. On Sundays , Dad and Mom used to drive from Burlington, where we lived, over to the falls, just for something to do. I presume Irene drove her Mom , from Buffalo, to meet Mom and Dad , that Sunday. I found this picture buried on the computer and  I remember that day very well--thought I would share it with you.--

I will leave you for to-day--  Lopez and Beau do need to get out--  Oh--before I get offa here, I must tell you that my weight is now 176----  I have a little over 10 pounds to get to my goal of 165--It has taken about 1698 years  (well, it feels like that!)-to lose the weight--one step forward and 100 steps backwards---The sad part however is , that most of my clothing just do not fit anymore-- and even having a seamstress take them in, it  doesn't look right  afterwards-maybe if I get a blood pressure check, that would help me feel better about the wardrobe!

Try to keep a smile on the face--  to-day--I do love yu-

  1. Enjoy your day with the family! What a wonderful time you will have!
The restaurant that you went to yesterday looked beautiful. So glad that you are out and enjoying yourself.
Congratulations with the weight loss! Maybe your daughter could help with getting some new clothes? Has she noticed? I used to love shopping with my daughter. Now, she is to busy for that…😢
    Have fun!!

  2. I am so thrilled that the weight is finally "working" for you! Good luck on the blood pressure reading though, as that's the more important indicator, right, than the clothes fitting!

Hugs & have a great family weekend.

  7. Great job on the weight loss which includes many inches and likely several health benefits! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that you celebrated reaching onederland while on SparkPeople.

  9. You are doing great on the weight loss! Oh! I meant to comment when you posted the Niagra photo the last time that I was married there! Lovely family photo! You take such care of your fur babies! Hope you are still getting to enjoy family around. Enjoy your Sunday tomorrow. I know you like that day as much as I do except when my neighbors decide to mow and be noisy when they had all week! Lol Hugs, Lynda!:)

  10. Loved the photo. Great job on the weight loss. I understand about the clothes not really fitting well. What I've found is that my "big" clothes suit me now while recovering from surgery but I'm so anxious to get back into my "real" clothes.
