Dumpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall--

Yesterday  I was weeding the flower bed that you see on top of the rocks--There are steps made out of rocks, on the left of that flower bed.-Well,  I lost my balance, and rolled down those steps--- landed on my left knee. Lord love a Duck! I am definitely not a very upright stable person---I felt like Humpty Dumpty---falling off a wall-AGAIN! ---I am OK this morning but a bit sore.

We have a rainy day--I do love it!  It is very humid too--and, this morning, I could hear a chorus of birds singing , outside. There are so many robins-

Son #2 is winging his way back to Toronto, from Qatar-

He sent this image--  said, Canada is on the map for the World Cup 2022, in Qatar---also sent a picture of Doha----very modern--

--some interesting facts on July 5th---- Amazon was incorporated on July 5th, 1994------July 5th is officially known as Mechanical Pencil Day and Bikini Day-----July is named after Roman Dictator Julius Caesar  ----(  Caesar developed the precursor to the Gregorian calendar we use to-day-)---- July  was named July in honour of Julius Caesar .-----  The colour RED represents July --The flower of July is the Larkspur and the water  lily --and the birthstone for July is the Ruby-

I hear wee little Lopez screeching  to go out again--He did not do his business earlier this morning, It was raining--so---I shall try again with him.

Sometimes all one needs is a smile to get one in a good mood---  It's a new day--and we are a part of it---We are special---  YOU are special! -

  1. Oh my goodness, Lynda! You do way too much and get tired and fall. I am so glad you are ok and hope your soreness goes away quickly. Maybe take some tylenol arthritis. It is going to be 91 and muggy here in Northeast Ohio today. Rainy this morning here too and storms this evening. I think off and on rain and storms through Friday. Have a great week and rest!:) Take Care!

  5. Good afternoon, Lynda
Those tumbles are hard to take. Glad you are feeling better.
I know it has been a while since I checked in. Everything is fine here in Union Pier. It stormed early this morning, (we got 1" of rain) and it is hot and humid . I walked early this morning and I am taking it easy right now. Vacuumed this morning and made a veggie pasta salad for lunch. It really did taste great. I think I will put tuna with the left overs for supper! Have a good day.

  7. Ouch, falling is harder to get up from now than years ago. Sorry it happened, but thank goodness you're sore but nothing worse. As someone else said, Tylenol arthritis might help.

  8. I'm so sorry you fell off the wall. My balance isn't what it used to be either. Seems to be a trend that goes along with birthdays!!! Do take care of yourself. You are the care taker for everyone else! It's hot and humid here too. This morning it looked like rain would come but now the sun is out! I'm turning down the A/C!

  9. You are one TOUGH lady! Hope the soreness is mending and you didn't injure yourself worse. Little Lopez deferring doing his business reminded me of my son telling me Carl had a rough night when the public fireworks display near their house was being set off. Poor pup does NOT like the booms at all, and would not go out to do his business until 3 a.m. after the booms had stopped. He becomes my houseguest tomorrow for a week, and I'm bracing myself and warning the cats.

  10. Lynda, I have fallen several times as my balance is extremely bad and now use a cane when I'm out. You are a little older than me so please be careful. You do so much stuff outside and need to take care since you have to look after so many others! Doha looks really nice and modern. Your son certainly gets to see lots of good places. Rest some and look after yourself. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

  12. Hope your sore knee feels better tomorrow! I have begun using a cane, just in case. Our front area slopes down, have to be careful going to the mailbox. Take care. We have dangerous heat here in Texas. Hope power stays on.
