Stronger than my strongest excuse!

I need to dance--I believe one can dance to any kind of music--"if the spirit moves you"--Mom's expression of course-- In fact, I can hear her saying that in my head right now!---
I did get to my Hair Lady yesterday--had a trim and a colour and I feel more like "me" now--Isn't it amazing what an outing to a "Hair Lady" can do?

Lopez and I hoofed it to the highway this AM-- I shudda taken my phone  to get a picture, because when I turned around to come back home, there was Mr Fox following us, quite close---It must be tough being so small eh?--I'm sure Mr Fox looks at Lopez as breakfast----

Our daughter fixed supper last night for all of us here--brought all the ingredients for Tacos out and  it  was delicious--I really appreciated her doing that!--When one does not have children around on a daily basis, it is hard to figure out what kids like--

Lopez needs got get out again--is screeching in the kitchen--  He did not do his business this morning, so I'm sure that is what the problem is! --- I'll take them both--Beau and him, to the lake and water the plants on the dock----

To-day I will start again--  (for the umpteenth time!) to get sugar out of my day-- I WILL BE STRONG---Funny how summer time , the diet just goes off the track---I WILL BE STRONGER THAN MY STRONGEST EXCUSE!

  2. You look great Lynda.
So happy your daughter made dinner. You needed a break.
Yep...sugar needs to go. The Queen has gone so no need for special treats lol. No pies or junk for a while. You KNOW you can do it.
    Enjoy your day.

  3. Looks like the hair lady indeed worked her magic! The smile says it all.

So glad your daughter is pitching in with the meal planning & prep for the next generation. It is hard for those of us old-er folk to keep up with the changes that happen so fast with kids.

  4. I'm glad you were able to get your hair done. That does a lot to make one feel better. And how nice of your daughter to make dinner for all of you. I had a pet fox once a long time ago - of course, he wasn't really a pet but he did love us! He looked so sad when we let him go in the woods.

  5. Like everyone says you look great!!! That was nice your DD made dinner for everyone. Has himself shown any signs of his health issues or is she going to go home and thinks you are nuts!

One nice thing if you do eat sugar in the summer you are so active it does not cause as much problems as it does in the winter when we are not as active.

I think little Lopez is helping you get more walks by not doing everything at one time. So those few extra steps will help to keep what you are eating vs activity a little more in balance. Thank Lopez for helping you.

    Enjoy your family.

  9. Be careful with that fox. I know there's a jacket that you can get that has all this pointy things for him to wear so the animals can't attack or carry off.

    You look great!

  12. Lynda, i think it's okay to have a bit of sugar...after eating nutritiously, of course.
Did you pick Lopez up and carry him when you saw the fox?

    Tacos sound great! {{{ Hugs}}}
