Life is sorta returning to normal.

Again--a quick blog here-- Yesterday I did a blog--then discarded it as the whole blog sounded as if I felt sorry for myself---AND I DO--LOLOL----but--what can one do about it ?--  No use complaining---because it will only make other people kinda look at me funny--and really , I am fine!---

Of course I did get Covid--gone now--and no repercussions-- I realize how fortunate the whole world is to have those vaccines--Himself and I had 4 shots, and because of those, the Covid was kind of like a cold-- even not as bad as a severe chest cold--or bronchitis--It lasted  maybe 4-5 days--Even Himself is pretty much over it--and he is "old"--

Our daughter leaves to-morrow which will be very sad--- She was so good with Himself, who does what she tells him--not like me--LOLOL--  Son #2 the Pilot has already left  and is home now.-- It really has been so good to have everyone together--all the Grandkids--

These 2 women are my Mom's Grandmother and great Grandmother-- Look at their clothes?--  Thy must've been so warm eh?--  They never lived thru a pandemic--or--did they?--   They were strong women, as was my Mom---doncha just wish we could go back in time and chat with our descendants?---  They would all us so much!-----

Hang in---  play that piano--watch a movie-- eat healthy and be kind to the people around yu!

  1. I was wondering where the blog from yesterday was . . . that has to be one of the 1st times you have missed if ever. You shouldn't worry about what people think about what you write. . . it is your life and your feelings and I thought we were all friends here and not judgmental. It will be sad when your daughter leaves but I hope she has a better understanding of what you deal with on a daily basis. Our daughter was here for a few days and left yesterday. I really enjoy spending time with her. We may go to see her in Kentucky this fall. Have a great last day with your daughter.

  2. It is sad that Son #2 has left and your daughter is leaving tomorrow but remember all the happy days and memories they are leaving you with. I am glad that you and Himself hardly had any symptoms of covid and that you are both fine now. We still have to be so careful when we are out. Did you have family pictures taken when the whole family was together? If you did I hope we will see them. Take care and enjoy your day.

  3. Hi Lynda. Missed you yesterday. Was hoping you were ok.
Glad to hear you and Fred are recovering.
It will be sad for your daughter to leave. Hoping she can come again soon. I do hope daughter saw some of the behaviors in Fred that you talked about.. Hope the two of you are more like minded about what's going on with Fred. I know you'll miss all the kids and grands.
    Take care. Play your piano.
    Hugs

  4. Awwww, you have lots going on. It’s ok to vent here! Believe me, we understand! And besides all that, you first and foremost write the blogs for YOURSELF! It's wonderful bonus points that you share them with us here in the blogosphere.

Glad you are better from Covid. And Himself, too.

OHHHHHH my goodness. Couldn’t you just spit a tack (Mom said that!) that Himself will listen to your DD but not you. *SIGH**

I am glad that you had your visitors. Bet it perked Himself up!

Oh I would LOVE to talk to some of my ancestors! I know they have to be interesting people and strong to have survived what they did. I imagine at some point, some will be saying the same about us, eh!

    HUGS and stay cool.

  5. Sometimes it's okay to feel sorry for ourselves - for just that moment when things seem so hard. I, myself, am struggling because of my back surgery. There's so little I can do and it's so very warm here every day! I let myself have those moments and then tell myself how lucky I am to have this surgery that will eventually restore me to a life with less pain than I've been dealing with these past 2-3 years. It will certainly be sad to see your daughter return to her own life but how wonderful that she was able to visit for so long!

  7. Oh Lynda….YOU are loved by your friends no matter what kind of blog you write…nobody has good days every day! Bring on the “woe is me” blog…no one here judges you! You just never know, some people may be feeling the same exact way!
It will be sad to see daughter and grands leave, I know! The good news is that, in spite of the Covid, lots of fun times were shared!
Hopefully, you will take a few moments for just YOU…you need some R&R!! ❤️ Eissa7

  8. Lynda, I’m so happy you’re feeling better and Himself is almost over it! Did any of the others in your family have it besides your daughter and granddaughter? I hope not! It’s always sad to see our children go…I know y’all have had a wonderful time together. Don’t worry about blogging your feelings…we all need the support of our friends! Hopefully your daughter is more understanding of your situation now. It’s a hard road, I know.

    Hugs, Lil

  9. Think about this: you are kind of a celebrity in my eyes, and it's sort of like it used to be to read "Dr. Abby," or something. Without my daily fix, I am lost! You MATTER...a whole bunch, to all of us! I was looking forward to a bunch of photos, hope you will post them, as many as you want, tomorrow! The more, the better! I know it's sad, I used to feel that way too, when my grandmother would come visit me as a child, and even when my bf comes to visit and goes home, I am sad for a day, living all alone as I do, but sad comes with happy. Life is very much like a roller coaster...we go up, and then we come down. But life will go up again, no worries! :)

  10. Glad you're on the mend, and Himself, too... and what a blessing to have the kids about to help! You're in good company, after all, the Queen had Covid earlier, right? And now President Biden has it.

Normal has a lot to be said for it!
