Make yer Heart Happy!

This picture was taken  north of here, at Laurentian Lodge-- Our Daughter and her 2 children took us up there for dinner last evening--  I had the Pickerel and it was delicious-- There were very few people there, so we felt pretty safe eating inside their dining room. This lodge is about 30 miles north of us--north of the Mississaugi Provincial Park and situated on Flack Lake. They have beautiful cabins and a motel unit, overlooking  Flack Lake---The dining room looked over this lake. It really felt good to eat out---first time in 3 years.

This picture was sent from Son#2, who left Toronto at 4am and was on the way North--to God's country--HERE!--He is going to camp for 2 nights, then hopefully will move in with us.----So, for once, in a long time, all family members will be home here!

I guess he has arrived, as I see the Elliot Lake sign--The above picture is of the main beach in Elliot Lake-- with these 2 Grand boys (ours) on it--They are cousins--the same age!

It is busy  to-day--of course--but--I had to check in with y'all to make sure that yer day is going well--I hope your heart is a happy heart to-day-- and if it's not, make it a happy heart--Only YOU can do that!

  2. Son #2 is moving in with you & Fred?? That would be awesome, it would help take some of the work & worry off your shoulders. I think it's great with grown children help their parents. I hope I did not misinterpret what you wrote about this Lynda, it's just that I'd be so happy if you didn't have to cope with everything yourself.

Love the nice restaurant your daughter took you to last night, what a lovely treat!

Love and hugs to you, Fred, family and also your fur babies xoxo

  12. What fun times it looks like you are having, so happy for you! Enjoy to the fullest. What a lovely place that looks like, I looked it up. Wow, I can't imagine not having eaten out in 3 years, I've eaten out as usual all these three years and have felt safe. Maybe I'm one of those who doesn't catch COVID, knock on wood, but I haven't had it. I've had all my shots and boosters. I hope I continue to be fortunate! :)

So wonderful to have all of your family together! I was fortunate too! Had all four of my kids here on Sat and we got to have a family pic taken! I am feeling a little sad as I took my youngest son and his family to the airport tonight. They are on their way back to CA! Having a large family is wonderful, but hard to get them all together! First family pic since we lost our wonderful papa George! I miss him sooooo much!
