Hello Monday

I got thru yesterday-- that terrible , horrible snowy snow storm--- thanks to Son#1--  who is very ill-- and hopefully, that was the last storm of the year--

To-day 2 Real Estate Ladies are coming thru the house--  no pictures yet--I hope! But at least they will see the house-- inside! Because we are on the lake, I know it will show better as soon as these mountains of snow melt--when ever that will be-- because the property is beautiful--under the snow!

Even the driveway is pretty-- which right now is covered with snow-- The above picture was taken late last spring-

So, I must get the big Beau out and the wee fellow-- Oh--I must tell you that I played the piano , loud and clear yesterday-- I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE, playing--The above , was  me  and  the dogs--dancing in our hearts--letting loose--to the music--acting crazy--- It's amazing how good one feels after a "jamming " session!

I hope you are as happy to-day as a clam at high tide--- act a bit crazy--- You will feel young--- -I might get back on here later--- just to check on you all--to see if you are dancing up a storm--
I hope that you are able to read the above---
Toddlers seem to have their own rules----but they aren't so bad--We might have to adopt some of their rules--Lord love a Duck!
Try to  make your day spectacular-- Maybe this riddle will put a smile on your face-

  1. Good Luck with your real estate ladies today. Our snow storm turned out to be a sorta dud . . .we got an inch or two but it melted away yesterday and today is supposed to melt some of the other snow we still have away. I love that you blogged early . . . I was feeling kinda down and sorry for myself but when I read your blog I know I am not the only one who has troubles or gets down so I am picking myself up and making it a good day . . . a sort of fake it til you make it attitude.

  2. Love, love, love hear hearing you played your piano. That makes me, you and the dogs happy.
Glad to hear you are taking steps to have the house listed. Yes, it is a beautiful piece of property. Time for a young family to enjoy it and the work that goes with it.
Liked all your inserts. Have a happy Monday. Sunshine in St.Louis yay. Daffodils and some trees are blooming.

    1. Do the daffodils still bloom on hills along I64/70 not too far from Kingshighway in St. Louis. Always thought that was a good idea.

  3. Your property is lovely and the pictures you post from each season show how the beauty changes. I imagine you will have a lot of people interested. The hardest part will be cleaning it out. It amazes me how family members don't want the things that have been so important to us. Times have really changed. Happy to hear you were playing the piano for Himself and the dogs. Enjoy your day.

  5. Your house is beautiful! Since it has the lake and docks, it will make it even more desirable to those who want to get away from city life! I hope all goes well with the real estate ladies! I don't envy you the task of packing up to move! I have been trying to declutter as my 4 kids don't seem to want anything! Thinking about having a yard sale to sell some of my grandmother's antique furniture and dishes that I am storing. But I really don't want to go thru the trouble of dragging stuff out and getting ready for a sale. Such a dilemma! I just want to have less stuff to worry about!

    1. Give the unwanted dishes etc to somebody in the family getting married and say that it is a tradition to hand them down and then what they do with them is their problem. Or give them on holidays. It's then out of your way!

  8. Lynda, sometimes I think you're a wild and crazy (and funny) old lady like I am...or try to be!
I have no doubt that the realtors will love your house and the property! What a wonderful place for a young, growing family.
Now, if they can find you a new abode...that would be perfect.
Yes, music makes us feel so good! Energetic or relaxed depending on the rhythm. You're lucky cuz you make the music! You don't just have to turn it on. I left my big Yamaha keyboard in Chicago when I moved here. Come to think of it...my daughter may still have it.
I got some shopping done today...and I have bananas and watermelon slices. They taste summer fresh. Wonder why they weren't featuring the whole melons. Probably felt they could get more $ if they were already prepared for the consumer.
Time for me to exercise. Will do the whole shebang today as I have put it off for two days. I have added squats and lunges. AARP says those 2 are important for senior. They help us with our balance.
    Speaking of that, hope Himself is doing well with his cane. How about his ears? {{{HUGS}}}

  9. Here's hoping that is the last of the snow for this year! And hope that the real estate ladies really like the house and property. I certainly don't envy you having to clear that big place out. Nice that you could play the piano and get rid of the stress and feel better afterwards. You will have to make sure you have enough room for the piano wherever you move to. Toddlers rules are cute. Have a good evening,
