I Believe Something Wonderful is About to Happen---

--Good day--It is a sunny day--cold--but----  WE ARE ALIVE--AND A PART OF THIS DAY---

We are going shopping-- I was not going to go shopping--groceries---  but--- there are days that it is just good to get out of the house-- This is that day---- Yesterday I found out that the house we had hoped to buy, might not be available-- It might be---  but--it might not be-- We will not know for sure until Fall--so---I must remember that everything happens for a reason--and maybe  will have to change our plans ----which maybe is a good thing ---- one never knows--I do know that we will not be here in this house in the Fall-----

Lord love a Duck---- so-----again we are looking---- and I do believe that things work out---  if you just believe ----  and perhaps  look at options--- just in case--

I can write more later---  the grocery store is calling--  IT IS STILL COLD!!!---

and --Snoopy is right--- WE LIVE EVERY DAY----Below is our front yard--WITHOUT SNOW!
-  we mustn't allow "stuff" to get us down---Winter will eventually end---Flowers ---WILL bloom--
The docks will go out--
and life on the lake will resume--

But----  it s time for our life to change--and I believe it will-- Something wonderful is going to happen!

  1. I admire your positive thinking. As my mother would say, there are plenty of other fish in the pond. Another house will strike your fancy and all will be well. Hope the shopping trip is a success and you are able to come home and relax.

  3. Keeping looking . . . another house will come along . . . in the mean time keep sorting and reducing the stuff at your current house so when one comes along you will be ready to go. Thanks for commenting on my comments yesterday. I feel stronger today but some days are more difficult than others as you well know. You are my inspiration.

  4. They say everything happens for a reason and maybe there is a better house that will be available for you. Today on my way to the doctor I saw over a dozen robins. They are here so spring will be here soon. Take care. Hugs

  6. Even tho you don’t have the exact place you’re moving to, you have a goal and a time frame that you want…keep decluttering, donating, pitching, gifting etc. It will be much easier to pack after you have eliminated what you no longer need! The perfect house for you and Fred may be just around the corner! No more snowblowing or shoveling
seem like a dream come true, doesn’t it??! ❤️Eissa7

  7. I know the feeling of having to just get out for a bit. I hope you can find a place that will be more manageable for you both. I can't imagine how much you have to do in a day! You mentioned a Senior's home and maybe that would be best, although my own mom was all set up to live in a place where she had neighbors and friends and was able to bring her cat. But at the last minute she backed out! I really just wanted her to be someplace where she could be safe and people would be available if something happened! Kathy

  8. It would be unusual to buy the first house you see anyway. Seeing different ones makes you rethink what you really want, like two bathrooms, for instance. The bodies get older, can you get in and out with a cane? Wheelchair? Bathtub or not? Room for overnight visit or not? And on it goes.

  9. Lynda....maybe that house isn't the one. As others have said, work on purging so that when its time to go it will be easier to pack
I am glad that you've made the firm decision that this is the last winter in the big house.
I understand wanting to get out even if its merely grocery shopping. Hope it went well.
    Play your piano.

  10. Lynda, it could be that the house isn't the right one for you. It's disappointing, but something amazing will be there.
