Tell yourself, Duckie, You're really quite lucky!

You are not only someone special, but, you are unique-- There is no other person in the world like you--That is quite amazing isn't it?--

The sun is shining here---  NO SNOW FALLING YET--- (hopefully we will not get the storm which is hitting parts of Southern Ontario--)----It is March---  not January---- March 2nd ---It is Hair Day for me---

To-day, Thursday, by the end of the day, I FINALLY, will not resemble that Lady in the picture! ---I am really quite lucky! -
---and, I have vacuumed up dog hair, dusted , played the piano--worried a lot about where we are going to move ---worried more about  how I will ever get this house de-cluttered--(but I will!)---Lord love a Duck!---
Dr Seus  says to tell myself that everything will work out-- I hope he is right---I believe in my heart that everything will turn out-----in time!

Himself is still waiting  to see an EAR , NOSE and THROAT Doctor---  seems it is over a year  we have been on a list-- He developed  a strange voice , after he had Covid last June-The Covid  must've attacked his throat somehow--the vocal chords-- - It used to be that one could call our medical clinic and speak to a Doctor right away-- not anymore-and there seems to be a long wait to get in to see a Doctor-- Is it the same where you  live?-----  The medical system  appears to be overworked--

March 13th,  our clocks are changing, and more daylight, and then---- March 8th  is International Women's day----a reminder that "Women Hold up Have The Sky"----and March 17th is St, Patrick's Day---so much to look forward to--with March 20th, the beginning of Spring!
so true --so true-----------------We really are lucky  to be part of to-day!

  1. Funny our clocks always change on a Saturday night into Sunday morning and this year it is the 11th into the 12th . . . actually they have a particular time that you are suppose to change the clocks but nobody ever does . . .we just change them Sunday morning when we get up. Spring ahead . . .Fall back. It is snowing here in New Hampshire . . .should be stopping soon but we got about 3 or 4 new inches. Friday night and all day Saturday we are suppose to get another foot . . . Spring can't come soon enough. Who taking care of himself while you get your hair done today? Hope everything goes well.

  2. Yes, it is amazing that each and every person is UNIQUE! That is so special!

Hope you get out for hair day! So important to have a little YOU time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dr. Seuss meme. Going to print that off for the bathroom mirror!

Yes, **SIGH** The medical system is VERY overwhelmed. It’s tough getting in to see the general practitioner, BUT to see a specialist . . . that’s quadruple the challenge. **SIGH** Hope Himself can get in soon to see the ENT.

The best of the upcoming events is . . . SPRING! Hopefully by then it will RESEMBLE Spring. It doesn’t right now. And add to that the approaching snow storm.

Enjoy your pampering. You deserve it!

  3. Time does slip away so quickly it is hard to keep up. It is hard to get medical appointments I waited eleven months for a CT scan. We have two hospitals in town and I was finally sent to one a half hour away. Now I am waiting two months to see the doctor to get the results. Somehow it doesn't make sense. I hope you enjoy your hair appointment today and getting to see some ladies to talk to. Have a great day and take care.

  6. Lynda, I can get in to see my doctor fairly easy if something is going on with me. I'd think Fred's health issue is one that should have been considered 'high on the list' and a doctor should have seen him then.

Oh happy hair day! My hairdresser comes to my home twice a month to do my hair, she's done this for years. Well, she lost her husband due to Covid last year and somethings finds it terribly hard to walk into her empty house and make a meal just for herself. So we have supper here together sometimes. I don't cook anymore so when she finishes, she goes to a nearby Wendy's and gets us burgers, fries and root beer. We never eat these at any other time so it's a treat. Now whenever she plans to come late afternoon, we do this, it's nice for both of us.

We're expecting that storm tomorrow, being I live in southern Ontario. Maybe it will be the last of this winter, my friend. When it hits you, I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's the last snowfall you see until next Christmas! How's that for a nice thought? :)

Love & hugs coming to you, Fred and the furry gang xoxo

    2. My hair dresser is cheaper than going out to a salon too. Want to hear something else? My manicurist comes to my home to give me manicure and pedicure too. I'm a "pampered pooch!" :)

  7. Hope you made it to get your hair done. The healthcare system is in terrible condition right now. If he's been ona waitlist that long you should follow up to make sure he is still on the list! I am supposed to be going in for surgery in a few months and am worried about how the care will be while there (if it even happens this year) Meantime the government supposedly has billions of healthcare $$$ just sitting around that needs to be applied to nurses wages etc. Have a good evening.
