Well, here I am---AGAIN!

Oh my Goodness--  I missed you all yesterday--   As you probably found out, someone got into my Facebook friendly list and  did whatever-- I started to blog and then decided it just might be better to not send anything more out to you all , until the Facebook people  somehow deleted whoever it was ---

It was a difficult day yesterday--  I had to decide if we want that Srs house in the next town--and  did we want to go and see it---The $60,000.00  upfront building fees, kinda, put a stop to us thinking too long about it all-----It was "hair day"  anyway, (at a new time)-and I did go there, with little Lopez, the Chihuahua who has big attitude----I decided to always  take the little fellow with me when I go to town--  It was Son#2's idea--Lopez  does not  seem to like Himself with "the cane"-- He seems to attack Himself's cane-- ---

I had my doubts if he would behave in the car, but, you know, I brought his blanket and a few toys, and he was a really good boy--  cried a bit when I went in to the Hair Lady, but then settled down and went to sleep. and he was a good boy the rest of the day--as long  as he could see me--

This was Lopez this morning in the living room, as soon as I brought him down--He  really is a one person dog-

OK-- Son #2, is in Austria--Vienna--  and of course the food pictures are coming in fast and furious-

Schnitzel Time he called the above--with Paprika flavoured chips below--
and some sort of jar of something

He ate in an old cellar, --the "Zwolf Apostelkeller"----a cave, dating back to 1339--- It is now, an old cellar deep underground--a restaurant--He feels that Hitler must've been there at one time as he was born in Austria.
There is another storm heading our way-- I AM NOT GOING TO PLOUGH ANY MORE SNOW--- so, I will leave it to the good Lord, to melt the white stuff!

So--as it stands now---Our present house is up for sale--We have no idea where we are moving to--some place small--fairly modern, and in town--  Lord love a Duck! We may have to even become "Street People"! ---yikes!
I hope the good Lord will  eventually  see our dilemma and have something  on the market for us!--
Well----  I dunno if I really am the driver of the housing  thing--   Oh I hope so! ---
I sure missed chatting away to you all yesterday------  Remember----  "STRONG PEOPLE"--  are the best----because we have to be  strong! - That's us!
----------Did you ever think about that???----------

  2. Indeed we do have to be strong. And sometimes we just don't feel like it, and then it's time to lean on that dear Lord!

I do hope things work out for you both with the selling and the finding and buying... housing is the tough one, especially if you have pack rat tendencies or procrastination tendencies... both of which litter my personality!

  3. I was worried that something happened to you or himself . . . I even checked to see if there was a post before bedtime. Hopefully your house won't sell before you find something you like. We are suppose to get snow starting tomorrow late in the day and 3-6" . . . don't think I can leave that to melt because the road snowplow will put a pile by my driveway. We'll see what we actually get. I wish for just rain but you know that won't happen. Glad to know you are ok. Isn't today the doctor coming day?

  4. Really glad to hear you are ok. I was worried when you didn't blog! Food and restaurant look real good. Interesting. Glad you took Lopez with you and he was good. I personally don't totally blame Lopez for his behaviour - he is probably trying to protect you. Didn't know your house was already up for sale. Hopefully something suitable in town will come up. Fees for the new place are totally unrealistic. Hope the doctor comes today to see himself. Good luck. And leave the snow for your son.

Oh Brenda--- I didn't want this person --this Facebook Hacker--to get ahold of any of you--so decided not to blog till whoever it was , was taken off Facebook- and yes, I think when Lopez sees or hears that cane, he believes I might get hurt--That Dr comes on the 31st and hope he has ideas how to help himself--AND ME!--LLOL--Lynda

  6. Happy to hear that everything was okay yesterday as I kept checking throughout the day and was a little worried. Lucky Son#2 because that Schnitzel looks really good and the restaurant would be interesting to visit. We have a few German restaurants in town that have Schnitzel and it is a favorite. Little Lopez looks so peaceful in the picture and it is hard to imagine him being a problem. I hope the doctor visits today and will have some answers for you both. Best of luck with the selling of your house and finding one that you and Himself will enjoy. Hugs!

    1. yes all is OK--- Some crazy Hacker was sending messages out to Facebook friends pretending to be me--I don't know yet if Facebook caught the person.--That Dr comes on the 31st and I hope he has some ideas to help Himself--and the house we hope to get--hopefully --- will happen-- Lynda

  7. It's Kathy. Little Lopez looks so cozy. My Daisy is mostly a one person dog too and I'm her person. In fact, she's lying in the doorway of my office right now! I guess she's guarding the door to make sure no bad guys get me!!! The photos of the food in Vienna look so yummy. Oh how I wish I could have a real meal that someone else prepared for me! I wish you well with the housing situation. My daughter is currently looking to buy a house because the father of her children (she's not married to him) now has an Order of Protection against him for Domestic Assault and the house she is living in belongs to him. So he's evicting her and their two sons. Nice guy, huh! So I'm in the deep end of real estate and mortgages! Have a good day!

    1. Little Lopez looks like such a baby--- but--there is this fierce thing in him sometimes-- He is very attached to me---like your Daisy----I am so sorry for your daughter's situation--Imagine that someone would behave like the Father of her children has! Women really must be strong and carry so much of the weight! --- and--It comes back on you!--- Hugs to yu both-Lynda

  8. OH goodness. Glad that the Facebook issue was solved (at least I hope so!)

Glad that the hair day turned out well taking Lopez. Indeed, he probably does not like Himself’s can @ all! Looks like he was very comfy waiting for you! That’s good.

Wow! $60,000 up front is a lot and would give me pause, too, thinking about a property. Good luck to you.

My goodness, that schnitzel looks delicious! I was in Germany many moons ago and had schnitzel. Sooooo good. My paternal Grandma made schnitzel, but . . . the schnitzel I got in Germany was much better. I’d never tell her that, though! LOL

That jar is a berry flavored yogurt. I bet it is good!

The 12 Apostles cellar/cave. Interesting! I saw the home where the Sound of Music was filmed when in Austria, and also the Eagles Nest site . . . Austria is beautiful.

Hope that you don’t get much snow. We’re in for snow this weekend.

I HOPE that you find a suitable place soon. ((HUGS)) It’s a daunting task.

Sending you strong vibes. With all going on for you, it is needed, right!

Glad to hear from you, as I too thought something happened to either yourself or Himself. Glad that’s not the case!

    Hugs and good luck!

  9. Bummer that you could not blog because of a hacker.....and happy that it got straightened out! Your son's schintzel looked delicious! There is a winery in Herman, Missouri that has couple of German restaurants the serve it! My hubby and I loved visiting there at least once a year to eat there. Hope you don't get that snow! We are getting rain - lots and lots! Have 3 inches already! Lopez is so cute. Maybe he will learn to love going with you to the hairdressers! And lastly, so glad to see that you have put your house up for sale and hope that a new place that you like becomes available soon! Good luck! You can do this!!!!

    1. Sandra--Yes I have to get out of this house--too large and too expensive and way out of town-- I only hope the house we want becomes available now---They STILL predict all that snow to-morrow--- I just hope it melts fast! --How are your cats doing?--Lynda

  10. I think the way home buying goes in Canada is not the same as in the states. I think it’s easier to do the dealing. Good luck. Your son sends such interesting nice food pictures. That yogurt makes my stomach turn, though. But that’s just me. I was born in Germany, but been here since 1950…yogurt hurts my tummy. Glad you took Lopez with you.

    1. Well, we went for groceries AGAIN this afternoon--They are predicting another snow storm here to-morrow-- 10--20 cm--- Lordy be! --And yes, I take Lopez with me all the time now-The 2 of us seem to be attached-- LOL Lynda

  11. Lynda, I am happy you're all okay. I was a tad worried when you didn't blog yesterdayl
I have my new computer set up Windows 11 is really different. The set-up will not allow me to set up my wireless mouse. I even tried following the directions on line. Sigh. I even got one of my favorite games up and running. Will have to pay for the other two.
Your house situation will improve. Keep the senior place in mine in case you don't find a house right away. Maybe they can take you short term.
I haven't checked to see if we have a storm in our forecast. It was a nice day today and is to be the same tomorrow.
It took me so long to set this up...gotta feed my kitty and myself now.
    Praying for you all. {{{HUGS}}}

  12. Missed You! Saw your note on Facebook so I knew the reason you didn't send a blog yesterday but know you were Missed!
The Austrian food and the underground restaurant are certainly interesting. Schnitzel is very good.
Taking Lopez along is likely the best solution. Lopez can't figure out the cane situation so best to remove him plus he's small and could be a trip hazard for himself.
You have your house on the Market? Or do you mean you are actively starting to look and you will sell yours when you find Something? The large entry fee in town would cause me to pause but hopefully something just right will come up soon.
    Be safe.
Hoping you don't get snow. We're having rain but that doesn't need shoveling.
    Stay strong.
    Sending hugs and love
