A trip to Portugal-

The above is son #2's, Dreamliner--his "Big Bird" , as he calls it-- He is vacationing right now in Portugal with his family-- food is not as important to him at the moment, as seeing all the sights--

I have no idea what the tower is, but he says he sees a lot of these-
The above was the menu on the plane, on the way over to Portugal----(I guess food still is important!)-

a picture of the city---  He says it is very warm--- and below a picture of where their apartment is--
-and of course, he had to find a MacDonalds----

Here they are walking to a castle at the top of the hill--

He said to notice how blue the sky is---if you look in the distance there is a castle-

We are presently loading up animals--getting ready to be out of this house, for a "showing" --going to drop off big Beau at the groomers, and then we get to see a prospective house to buy----  Whatta job how ever to get outta here----

I really do thank you all for helping  me deal with Himself--who isn't himself anymore----It helps to know that you care--

stay strong--
I shall return and let yu know how it is going--

  1. Yeah, that wheelchair we had was labelled as 'light' but yeah no ... lifting it was hard (40 lbs! 18kg!). I'm delighted to hear that things went well the next day and hope that means you got him into the car and out again. Did you take him to see the Bungalow? Happy Mother's Day! I got a box of chocolates from a nephew-in-law but I told him I wasn't up to seeing anyone (he want to move in with me and that is not something I want for many many reasons) so I just made out I still wasn't well. Later I got a video call from my new daughter (formerly my son) and we had a lovely chat about their new butterfly leggings. ❤️ They are so much happier being who they feel they really are that I'm just so happy for them. My life and kids are kinda weird but I love them anyway they want to be. Anyway, Happy Mother's Day and I hope you see you local boys and get a hug. I'd give you one if I could reach that far, but instead I'll fold my arms and hug myself and think of you! Cheers!

  2. OH Portugal looks lovely! And that in-flight menu looks FABULOUS! Not what I’d expect on a flight! Beautiful city. And for sure, that sky is sapphire blue and gorgeous!

I HOPE that the showing goes well. Such a lot of work for you having to hustle off Himself and the fur babies, but hope it’s all worth while.

    Indeed, stay Pawsitive!

Hugs and blessings! Happy Mother's Day

Beautiful pictures from.Portugal. pilot son is living the dream. Looks gorgeous.
What a fire drill to get pets and himself out of house. Whew. Hoping, fingers crossed, you don't have to do that often. Hoping the smaller house will work for you. Hugs dear Lynda.
I also hope your local kids and grands will stop in and celebrate you!
I'll be thinking about you. Sending hugs and love. Happy Mothers Day.

  5. Happy Mother's Day! I hope you don't have too much trouble getting out of the house with Himself and the fur babies. Hopefully everything goes well and you like the house you are seeing and that there won't be too many times that you have to pack everyone up for viewings of your house. What an amazing vacation for Son#2 and his family to be on. Enjoy your day>

  7. Happy Mother's Day! A person who grooms on a Sunday? All of our groomers are closed on weekends. Good Luck on selling your house even though it will be a ton of work to move. And especially good luck on finding an appropriate new place to call home. I am off to do some more gardening. . . so much to do and the weather here has been perfect for being outside.

  8. You son takes some awesome pictures! Hoping your showing goes well! I know it will be a hassle getting the dogs out and house in order, but it will be worth it! Happy Mother's Day! A couple of my kids came over yesterday and helped put up my screened in gazebo....the frame stays up year round, but the canvas top and sides and screens are stored in the winter. Will be so nice to sit and have coffee out there on the deck now! They were going to help get the cover off the pool - but a thunderstorm came up and spoiled those plans. Today, will be going out to eat and celebrating at my daughter's house, so two nice days with family! Good luck today!!!

  9. Hi Lynda,
    Happy Mother's Day!
It is such a big process trying to sell a house. I hope they like your house and I hope you like the one you are looking at. It is cloudy here in Michigan but it is not raining- which is a big plus.
Where do you go when you are trying to waste time. Go shopping or out to eat or maybe visit family.
Dan fixed pork chops on the grill but we ate in the house instead of in the gazebo. I will keep you and himself in my prayers. Luv Bev

  11. I am happy for your son and his family to be enjoying vacation. He really deserves it for all that he does with flying people around the world. I am sure he will find some great food. What a lot going on for a Sunday. We usually enjoy this day relaxing as it's our favorite day. I hope it all went well for you! Happy Mother's Day! Beautiul here in Ohio!

  12. Hope all went swimmingly! Beautiful day here in Ohio, too! Got invited to the club near here that I grew up going to, my cousin passed a year ago, and I've now become closer to his widow. Anyway, I was invited to eat at "the club" with her and her son. Then to help her declutter some at her big big house, with SO much stuff that her husband had collected. I took 6 boxes of electronics, mostly cameras, home with me to sort through and sell at work. Then I had to help my elderly neighbor by taking her some places, I'm beat. Happy Mother's Day!

  13. It's Kathy - hope all went well with the house showing and that you saw a house that would be suitable for you both - without so much yard to take care of. That's what I want now but the houses they are building are so large, who wants to clean all that! Do they celebrate Mother's Day in Canada? It was celebrated here today. 3 of my children met at my oldest daughter's home and she prepared a meal fit for a Queen! I loved it and got enough left overs for tomorrow's dinner. The other two called me to wish me Happy Mother's Day. It's nice to be remembered at least once a year!!! Hope all went well.
