Love more and all good things will be yours.

Good Day to all of you!--May the 3rd---  WE ARE INTO MAY---unbelievable--It is still cold however-

WE WILL MOVE MOUNTAINS_to-day----and always---!!!!

As you can see, the ice is breaking up on the lake and if you look closely, you will see the last pile of snow--but--NO SUNSHINE---

We had a very good day yesterday--Himself was good-- all went well--Lordy knows what I will find when I get back home  to-morrow--Himself does not do well when left alone for long-

Our daughter sent a video yesterday of her Dad--Himself--over the years-- It made me cry-- I saw the man that I married --Every photo in the video was himself, smiling at the Grandchildren-- Himself at a wedding-- and I saw how happy we both were --I tried to post it  on here but it was just too long-

-This is the guy I married--- had 5 children--with--- and after each baby, he would say, "OK, that is enough children"----and then son#2 came along, and he would say, "OK, that is it eh?----  and then, our daughter appeared, etc etc --The 2 "etc's" , were son #3 and son #4-----

And before you could say, "Jiminy Cricket", this is what happened---
-and I wouldn't have had it any other way-- There is a lot of love in a family-_Each Grandchild is a gift from God--- These are the reasons that we all pitch in to help their Dad--- Everyone tries ---- All the grown ups have jobs---are busy people--- but--They are here when  they see their Dad  struggling to keep as normal as he is able to be!

Now how did I ever get onto all of this-?----

To-morrow  Lopez, the wee fierce Chihuahua, will be at son#3's  house where his cousins, Lola and Apollo live----(This is a new sign for the gate)--
So, we carry on-----and on--and on---because--we have to---  because we care for the people we love.

Have the best day ever--Remember that you are unique--quit trying to please everyone--Never fear change--

This Swedish Proverb says it all--

    1. Yes Sandra-Himself seems good to-day---- It is terrible when he gets so frustrated--It's like he is a different person---I feel sorry for him getting mixed up like he does--but--at the same time, I feel so much anger which I must control because he doesn't remember being confused--terrible disease--Lynda

  2. One day at a time is what my DH likes to say . . .glad your day was better yesterday. I know the bad days are so hard for you mentally and physically. Hopefully May will be better after the Doctor comes to evaluate himself. Have you found someone to stay with him on Hair day? Good Luck tomorrow at your eye app't. We are just having rain and lots of it here in NH. You don't need to send the snow this way Thanks.

  3. Sounds like all the kids now realize the issues with their dad - which is really good. Makes it easier for you & to get additional help when needed. Hopefully winter is finally leaving! Ok like the proverb above. Hope all goes well tomorrow. Good luck. Brenda

  4. So nice to have those treasured memories to get through the tough days! And just think what our world would be without those 5 children!

  6. I love the new sign for the gate. It is always good to look back at memories of earlier days when things were different. It was thoughtful of your daughter to send the video of Himself showing many different times in your life together. Enjoy your drive to the optometrist and try not to worry, everything will be fine. Take care.

  7. Lynda, you are so wise. We learn a lot from each other...and from the internet! I love your 'posters.'
So Lopez will have a mini vacation! Wonder how he will do without you. Time will tell.
Didn't the helper ladies say they'd reschedule in May? It's here! Maybe you could call them.
Sunny here today, not much breeze...no wind! I no longer have to strain my eyes to see if the trees are budding cuz it's evident!
Birds galore are singing, squirrels are out...life is good.
Once again I searched for your brother's name and address. Should have saved it the first time. Could you give it again or give the the title of the blog you listed it?
    Hope all appointments go well. Take care. {{{HUGS}}}

  10. It's Kathy. I'm glad yesterday was a better day. I love that photo of your beautiful family. I have 5 children too, 3 girls and then God blessed me with twin sons. I don't have as many grandchildren but they are all such a blessing. My second daughter posted some photos of her oldest daughter going to prom with several friends. I hardly recognized her all dressed up like that. It's good to have family!

May your eye appointment go well. It does sound like Himself should not be left alone at this point. Still a handsome guy. You are a good wife and mother. Sending love and hugs ❤️❤️❤️ Ace
