It is a Holiday--Victoria day---lotza sunshine with warm temperatures-- --This is an extremely short blog here--because-----I have a Real Estate person arriving shortly---plus--- I did see a very nice home last evening, and I expect it will be sold to-day--The owner of that house, was having 6 showings- to-day-- I cannot put any offer in as we have to add a "condition" that this house has to be sold-
So far there isn't even a "For Sale" sign on this house------ So---- Life is hard eh??-Maybe it might be easier to just stay put-- --stay right here in our present house--- Lord love a Duck!---- What has the good Lord got in store for us??_
Enjoy your holiday, sunshine and warm temps.
ReplyDeleteReal estate market is hot and crazy all over. Hoping you find some piece of mind whatever you choose.
Hugs
It is terrible what one goes thru just to sell a house-- I do not recommend it-- Right now a photographer is here-Lynda
DeleteI just know everything is going to work out just fine. It might seem messy now, but eventually, like a jigsaw puzzle you've just started on, piece by piece things will get into the right place and you'll marvel at all the strength and craziness it took to get to that end point. Enjoy that Holiday!
ReplyDeleteMonday here was a work day and I rebelled big time like a teenager. But, I'm self employed and kinda like earning my little bit of a living so eventually I threw the covers off and got to work. And got a surprisingly lot done. Including contacting the US Social Security office for people who live overseas about my disability pension. That would help a lot with paying for help that I really do need. My understanding is that I would be able to have both the Australian one (which I already have) and the USA one, with only a bit taken out to cover admin fees. It would be very nice to have that sorted out. Anyway, enjoy your Holiday! Be a little crazy! Dance! Play the Piano, Sing even! ❤️
Oh I hope all works out--hard gto believe it now tho-- It is pure chaos--and I hope you get your pension worked out--hard eh?--Lynda
DeleteI certainly do understand your dilemma! I was thinking I needed to move to a smaller place as there is too much work to do here - but the longer I stayed here, my mind seemed to accept the fact that I am happy here and if and when the work becomes overwhelming, I will think about moving again. But until then, I will "make the best of what I have" as you put in your blog this morning!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your home--- I am sad to move but--- I just cannot handle all the upkeep -- sad tho Sandra---Lynda
DeleteLynda, can't you put a condition on the house AND make an offer?
ReplyDeleteGosh, what a big job this is for you! I do believe it is probably time for you to move, though. Unless you could pay a Sadie for inside and outside work to keep up your present property!
I am sure your house will sell soon! Why no for sale sign yet?
When it is sold, you will feel freer to put in offers on other houses.
Just chillin' here. Lovely day. Lady who cuts my hair is coming in a bit over an hour. Can hardly wait.
Expecting my crew length compression socks to come today, too.
For now...I'll wait for more news! You will be happy to contact your son(shine) again!

We now have a FOR SALE sign--one at the road --one at our gate-Son #2 in Montreal--- then Toronto- home--- Lynda
DeleteGood luck with that real estate gal, is she the best there is though? Or a friend? If you keep the house, can you afraid people to carry you guys up and down those stairs, at some point? It’s not just about the house cleaning, or cooking, you need to hire a crew. Plus, after one of you goes, that will all have to stop, quickly, and the house would be gotten rid of quickly. A job no one wants, in Canada or elsewhere. Any of us here younger, reminder to plan way earlier, when we are still in better health for these decisions. So sorry for this going on, Lynda.
ReplyDeleteapparently she is the best-- hard to believe eh?-- I know-- too much work for me here--hard to sell tho-Lynda-
DeleteSending peaceful vibes your way It is not easy being a buy nor a seller! Lots of decisions to be made!

Barb-This has been a crazy day--- Realtors in here-- Lynda
DeleteSelling a house is the biggest pain. Especially with pets and vacating for showings. At least it's the right time of year for a house on the water. Hope all goes well. Too bad you couldn't do a conditional offer on that house if you really like it. Glad the pilot is almost home.
ReplyDeleteI believe that house I saw is sold--I shall call the Lady--Lynda
DeleteHang in there!! I know the feeling, Wonder why the realtor has not put up the For Sale sign? Donna_cps2
ReplyDeleteDonna--It is up now--but I had to bed and be bossy--Lynda
DeleteI thought you put your house on the market awhile back. It sounds like the housing market is pretty competitive there. Such a big decision and so much to think about. It is beautiful in Ohio, too. Almost too hot as I was out doing yardwork earlier and didn't finish. Tomorrow. Glad your son will be back to texting and calling now. It makes a nice difference. Happy Victoria Day!
ReplyDeleteYes--it seems there is a shortage of houses in town-Lynda
DeleteJust have the Real Estate person put up a For Sale sign already. Get it sold ASAP. Don't have second thoughts, just DO it.
ReplyDeleteShe did--The sign is up--- It looks like a Bill Board --Lynda
