It took threatening himself with moving to another bedroom--telling everyone I could see what I had to go thru--Man oh man! --- I want to tell you, NEVER MARRY A DR--as they think they know everything! ----I HAD THE STRENGTH-----not saying he is --well, "not thinking very hard of me or my needs"----- or anything--like that---but---(But--I sorta am)-- He sure gets what he wants and---well, I did walk away------without --- well, you know ---kicking or using blunt force---etc etc--
So, the world sure does look brighter this morning--I managed to get the hoses working on the lakeside--AND HIMSELF EVEN CAME DOWN (backwards so not to fall)- to help me---- We water from the lake---- with a very complicated hose system-- Hopefully today I can spread some "Weed and Feed" down there--and eventually some fertilizer--I just had to throw the above in---I do love the Ladies figure and nothing stops her from riding her bike--plus, she looks about my age---I hope where ever you are, you are having the best day ever---Try to dance--It is with your heart that you dance----Doncha think?
Loved all the inserts. So happy you got good sleep.....sleep is not overrated.
ReplyDeleteHoping things are peaceful and pleasant there today.
Play your piano. Find your joy.

Beautiful day here to-day-- 85 degrees-Lynda
DeleteSleep is so important! Opening the patio door and feeling the breeze because you threatened to go to another bedroom was the answer! And hiding the cane is ingenious! You are a strong, smart lady who eventually figures the best solutions! Love the inserts from today's blog! I used to use "After while, Crocidile" and "See you later Alligator" when my Kindergartern students were leaving my class each day and the loved it and repeated it back to me - a sweet memory for me!
ReplyDeleteYes, I hid that one cane--and it seems to be the one that Lopez barks at --- He must've hit him with that particular one--never ever was he like that before--- Lynda
DeleteDo you mean you could not open that patio door for two years when it was hot? Now that was abuse! Thank goodness you just opened it, period. And finally got some rest. He is lucky you are a bit afraid of him, or you might have been forceful and yanked the door open yourself as soon as you felt suffocated! Thank heavens, you need a break from cleaning and yardwork, my dear….. Take care….
ReplyDeleteOh I used to open that door--but--be would slam it shut--and the whole wall would shake--- HE NEVER EVER UERD TO BE LIKE THAT!-- It was wonderful last nite-Lynda_
DeleteYou go girl......you are getting it done. Good idea on the cane.
DeleteI would say be careful, because you never thought himself would strike a dog either....he is not "himself" any more.
For sure--He is not HIMSELF--I know that-Lynda-
DeleteGayleane--(am I spelling yer name right?)--Yes I loved that picture of a little girl with her galoshes on --So you know exactly what I am talking about being ion bed in a room and suffocating--LOL--But, you got a hug and that is better--I was one of 5 kids also--I never heard from you yesterday-- I missed yu--Lynda--
ReplyDeleteYou sound happy and more content today than you have in a long time. A good night sleep was something you needed and hopefully will be able to get each night now. Love your pictures today. Relax and enjoy the sunshine today and maybe dance on the grass.
ReplyDeleteDancing is a wonderful exercise--Lynda
DeleteGood for you sleeping with the door open! I have double windows open in my bedroom for over a month now. It makes sleep so much better! Plus, I have a bird bath, bird feeders and many bird houses and lots of squirrels to watch and listen to. Oh, and a baby bunny that I just love! It is 73 and sunny in Ohio. Happy you are having a better day! Especially, it’s our fave day. I remember your hoses. Be careful and rest with some ice cream this evening. Hugs!:)
ReplyDeleteHow do yu know that I LOVE ice cream?--Do YU? Lynda
DeleteYES! Especially, here in Ohio where we have creameries. It is out of this world! It takes willpower for me to keep under control and make it a special treat! lol
DeleteI think you're finally getting through to him - maybe threathening to go to another room did it. Glad you finally got a good nights sleep. Sleep is not overrated! And he even came down the hill to help you. Good taking away that one cane that is causing the issues with Lopez as long as he has another to use. Love your inserts today. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrenda--To-day is a good day--but--yu never know what the next day brings--Lynda
DeleteOh I am soooo glad that you were able to sleep comfortably! It makes such a difference to get a good night sleep and YOU certainly deserve that! To say the least.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope that you continue to have some good days! YOU NEED them!

Hi Barb--all is well here to-day-Lynda
DeleteSo glad you got the good rest. Anything new on the sale of your house? Many people looking at it? It would be hard to keep it in showing condition all the time! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteNo viewers --but we see cars stopping and looking , out at the road--looks like we will be here forever--LOL_Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I'm so glad you had a good night's sleep. I need the window partly open as soon as the temps are above 40. I also need the fresh air. My husband loves lots of blankets, most nights all I want is a sheet. Makes it hard sometimes to sleep in the same bed. We've had several nice days but boy, we sure could use some rain. I caught myself a cold last week which is finally going away but now my husband is sick. Always something! I love the last meme - you dance with your heart!
ReplyDeleteHi kathy---always so good to hear from you--Funny how different people need fresh air--and-men don't---I am sorry your "cold"--It seems to be going around here too--So far, we have missed it----We need rain also--everything so dry--Lynda
DeletePosting late again, Lynda. Tonight should be the last night of that for quite a while. I have done my last evening pet sit. The pets' moms will be back tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to be able to sleep with a comfy temperature...and a breeze? I usually turn my fan on when my bladder (or Lucky) wakes me up. Then I sleep like a baby. I window is open behind the fan, too.
Yes, dear, you must tell Himself that you have needs, too. After the years you've been married, he should be able to understand that.
You will miss your beautiful property when you move, but it will be mush easier for you. I am sure there are public places to go on the lake, right?
All for now. It's almost 11:30 PM. Gotta run Lucky around with his wand to tire him out so I can fall asleep without having to shut him out of the bedroom. The only think I could do without when it comes to cats is that they are 'creatures of the night.'
