Do not let negative thoughts make a nest in our brains!

I read all your comments . just before bed last night--and--you do put a smile on my face-- I can relate to all of you! ----  and one more thing--Isn't SPRING just the best ever??-

-The Hummingbirds have returned and I'm sure that some of them had stopped over at your feeders as they headed north-I think they told me that! -There are not too many of them here yet--- but--I know there will be--I bought 3 of those mammoth feeders with 6 little perches on each feeder and Himself put wires on them, to hang them--

The piano tuner comes this morning--another $200 out the window--but--the piano always sounds so beautiful, once it is tuned--AND-----

IT IS HAIR DAY----colour---so--more $$$$$----  and little Lopez will not like being left here--I would like to take him, leave him in the car, but, I think it will be too hot for him--I may have to crate him-- He is so afraid of Himself's cane--which makes me wonder what goes in when I'm not here.

---so yesterday---I raked----  on the lake side of the house--someday it will be wonderful to not have so much land around our home--I have done the front--the septic bed--now--the lake side--I took Lopez and Beau with me, as I raked, but Lopez eats the grass, the mud--- etc etc-crazy little guy-- His tick medication had no affect on him at all which is good--

The above made me LOL----  Doncha jess wish you could say that to someone--just to see their reaction?-- --  I figured you needed a laugh this AM---It put a smile on my face---

So-It is a new day--- and you know that I am going to hope that you are "STRONG"----

  1. Glad you’re still wearing that smile given to you!

Lovely that the hummers have returned and that Himself helped you set up their feeders!

Awwww, it’s not $200 out the window if the piano is nicely tuned and you get joy from it!

YOU DESERVE your hair day, so enjoy it!

Sounds like it is a very wise idea to crate Lopez while you’re gone. It won’t hurt him and if Lopez is afraid of the cane, it’’s probably a good idea.

I just may try that . . . “You can see me” trick! LOL Don’t know why, but when I’m @ the grocery store it seems at least one person always asks me questions when I’m in the produce aisle. Must have a knowing look or something.

    Here’s to a good Thursday.

  2. Just put out my hummer feeders yesterday - but no hummers yet! We are scheduled for thunderstorms today and through the week-end. Bummer for outdoor Mother's Day activities! My $ out the window is going to be for the "Arborist" who is coming to look at my 24 year old weeping mulberry tree that looks like it is dying....$100 to just come out and "diagnose". Then will have to pay someone else to do whatever if it needs to be sprayed, etc. But I do not want to lose this lovely tree in the front of my big window of the house! The birds love it as I have feeders hanging from it, and I love sitting in the little sitting room there watching them! Thanks for the advice to stay STRONG! I seem to be overwhelmed lately with all that there is to do!

  3. These days, if you talked back to a stranger that way, they may have you taken away, so careful, lol. Good luck with your hair. Hope you put the doggie in his place, no reason to take chances. That dog is wise to back away. We expect rain, but humidity is high and makes you sweat, so rain is not cooling at all. This is in north Texas. Take care.

  4. It is 75 and sunny in Ohio but the air quality is 123. Cloudy and light rain off and on all weekend. Funny thing, I have a solar light hummingbird and one landed on it the other day. Lol You are worth the piano tuning and hair day! Enjoy your evening!

  7. Loved the "you can see me" response to strangers. That gave me a chuckle.
Lopez will be fine and dandy in his crate while you get OUT.
$200 for piano tuner isn't wasted. It will make your music even better.
Hummingbirds are on the way up there. We have them in St.Louis. Scattered showers today so lots of humidity.
    Enjoy your outing.
    Keep positive thoughts...cant hurt.
    Be safe
    Enjoy your pampering.

  8. Lynda, you often make me laugh! I think I will say that to someone! I had a friend that could say outrageous things to people. Like at the office. They knew she was trying to be funny and that her comments were meant affectionately. For instance if some said to her, "Excuse me," she would respond, "There's no excuse for you!"
Got an invite to my eldest grandchild's graduation, and I can't go. They only got 5 tickets...themselves and grandpa. Oh, well it would have been an 8 hour drive, maybe motel for 2 nights...It sure would have been great to see them. Will have to find out something wonderful and inexpensive to send him
I gotta take it easy the nurse said with my cracked rib. Driving that long may not have been wise.
Could Lopez stay in his crate at home so Himself and Lopez wouldn't bother each other? Or could you take the crate into the salon?
Such decisions we have to make. I guess that's what makes life interesting, though.
Don't overdo with the raking. We don't want you to hurt yourself. It's not fun.
