There is always a reason to smile!

 Isn't the above so true?--We do that---  some days it is easier than others--Good morning!---
What is your reason to smile to-day?--Let me see---
  This morning I got to turn OFF the AC--- It finally is cooler--windy--Smoky also--Lopez was circling his PEE Pads which I keep down in the dining room, and what he never uses anymore, but he kept running over to them and looking at me- I took him out--and--He Did His Business-!--- Holy Cow!---- a huge reason for me to smile---
It is windy outside---  The rain is sorta "stop and go"---- My legs do not hurt this morning--The interest rate so far has not been raised--- which is good--- I am not sick----  Both Himself and I are still alive and kicking---Lord love a Duck! ---There are reasons to smile---
I see wrinkles on my face ----They are NOT going away--In fact they seem deeper---   My hair  on my head seems thinner, but is not grey----  (Ha Ha---- Praise the good Lord for Hairdressers!)--- --- BUT----WE ARE A PART  OF THIS DAY--(-a huge reason to smile!)-----

-and I have Himself--- who  is trying  to stay a big part of each day---The house is not sold---Maybe that is OK too--for now-

- and--yu all have ME everyday , to keep y'all in line---not allow yu to feel sorry for yer selves--and convince you that you are stronger than you think---
So, get up and face the day---Remember that you are special---

  3. It's Kathy. Yes, grandchildren do make us smile. My 4 year old grandson was over for a couple hours yesterday full of questions. Why do have boats in your living room? Why is one part of your house blue ? (We're painting later this summer when it cools off some) Why do you have books by your chair? So many questions but so fun to enjoy time with him. Love the memes today. I am learning to live a "new normal" - only doing the things that I can! My brain still thinks I'm 30 but my body is telling me something else!

  4. Lordy Be--I completely understand-I hardly make ends meet right now also--I believe that we are all in the same boat but we do not talk about it-- As Mom used to say, "I feel like I rob Peter to pay Paul"----WE buy groceries , pay bills--- but---- it is difficult to "stay out of the red"-(another expression of Mom)-I am sorry about yer AC unit-- but-- it is something yu need, so yu must buy it-- Yu took out a loan so yu did it--but--even that is a worry I bet--- I wish I could go back to work --but-- I'm too old--(I think)--I do not know how we are going to do all this---but -somehow yu will--I think we are all facing tough stuff right now---ASk the people on here---I will send hugs yer way---STAY STRONG---You must!-- HUgs, Lynda

  7. And we are so glad that we *do* have you every day! Another reason to smile!

    I'm smiling because I can still get up and down to do my mat exercises at the trainer's place. I may go "oof", but I get down and back up!

  8. You are so right - we are blessed with many things each and every day - and sometimes it is harder to see those little blessings! I feel blessed every morning when I awake to a new day. None of us are promised tomorrow, so we should not take things for granted, but instead be grateful for all that we have! I try to remember all the things I have to be thankful for each night before I fall asleep at night. I count you, Lynda, as one of them!

  9. Lynda, what a great blog! Of course when things go awry we need to vent. I understand when you do that and emphasize. Maybe it was early today, but how wonderful...all those good things you mentioned!
    The Law of Attraction lady says when you wake up spend at least 16 seconds thinking good stuff...how comfy you are, what you're looking forward to, the sun coming in the window (or the liquid sunshine), etc. That 16 seconds guarantees you will have a good day.
    Hotter here again, rain coming tonight. Still smoggy from the wild fires. Hope they're not too close to you.
    Get to watch Heartland tonight. Can hardly wait til you can get it.
    Play your piano...wish we could hear you here...and smile. You got this! {{{HUGS}}}

  10. Great blog with great inserts. We must all keep going and conquer any obstacles like staying or moving. Lopez was a real good boy this morning. Glad it's getting a bit cooler. Hopefully it helps with the forest fires. We've had lots of rain since yesterday. I pray it moves up to you for the fires.
