You're Awesome----

The above says it--"the way it is!"--It gave me a chuckle this morning-----plus, I am, beginning to look like the wee Lady ---and that is OK too--

We are heading off to Espanola--a small Paper town, 45 minutes from here--They sell Seniors Homes complete with an attached garage----and a fence around the yard-I think all we can do is look at them--not put any $$$ down until--or--if our house sells----  but--at least our name will be put on a list and we will have a place to live in, which would be nice , at this point---

Lopez is going to stay with Uncle son#3 for the day, and big Beau will stay in here--We will be back by 4pm latest!--And if this house does not sell this summer, we will just stay here---and that is OK too-
Son #2 , the pilot guy in Toronto, says, "But Mom , You and Dad will not be in town with the Grandkids",----
-but----  these days, the Grandkids have jobs---- are not out here like they used to be--and it's not for sure that we will move anyway-- In fact its looking like we never will move---Of course he doesn't hate us (like the above)---LOL--  but these days, as the  children grow, the advice does too--so, we will look and check it all out--It may be the very first house that I've seen that just might be suitable--one level--an attached garage--2 bathrooms--

-I wish I was stronger--- I wish I were younger---I wish I had more time to do more---It seems I just get one section of the yard done--and the grass has grown longer AGAIN_-in another area--- etc etc
-- Maybe I need to get into that Dreamliner----fly away--
anyway----I hope Son#3 does not let wee little Lopez take off up his road again---I do love the wee little guy-- --And I hope Beau can last in the house till we return-----lots to think about

Stay strong----  I am sending hugs your way--yu can do everything yu set your mind to--remember that!
PS---- just home from looking at the place in Espanola--The houses are lovely but the town is not nice--always something eh?--I guess we are meant top stay here----Lynda

  1. It's Kathy. Love that Senility Prayer. I think you're being smart to check out your options. I know what you mean about the grandkids - they do grow up and move on with their own lives. Right now I still have 3 little ones who think I'm pretty amazing but I'm sure that will change over time! Enjoy your trip, I hope it all goes well!

  2. Hope your adventure provides a positive option IF you choose to sell your house…so many pros and cons to consider. Do what feels right for you …. It is a difficult and stressful decision! I know because we just sold and moved….it is hard!! Hope Lopez has a safe and escape-free visit with his Uncle! ❤️Eissa7

  3. Good Luck on your travels today! I hope all goes well. I think Lopez will be fine with your son ... he might be getting used to visiting there! Beau might enjoy having a nice, peaceful day to himself with no one there! Going out to eat after house hunting will be a nice break for you! And good for Himself to be getting out of the house for a break too!

  4. I'm glad you are going to look at a more suitable possible option IF your house sells. You are right about the grands and the kids too. Less and less time for parents and grandparents. Hope its something you like.
Sure hope grandson will routinely help with yard. There is always so much to do at your big house..inside and outside.
Lopez will be fine. Uncle is aware that Lopez likes to dash out. Beau will enjoy having the place to himself.
Enjoy your outing and maybe get a meal out to treat yourselves.
    Hugs

  5. Hi Lynda: Love the senility prayer above. I'm sure Lopez will be fine at his uncles. And Beau will love having the house to himself to relax in and sleep in. Isn't Espanola further north? Hope the houses are nice and suitable for you guys. And no closer to the fires! Have a good day and maybe stop somewhere for lunch! Good luck

    1. Yes we enjoyed lunch out--The Srs houses were very nice--but Espanola is kinda like a cowboy town-- busy busy busy--- It is 45 minutes from Elliot Lake--Lynda

  6. Enjoy the day trip, this is another option, and be on the list, good idea. If something happens, you will need lots of help, no matter what it is, there is only you to make the decisions, and know what you can afford. Finding reliable hired help could be the biggest worry of all. Who can you trust inside your house, 24 hours a day? You lose control. This aging thing is no fun for us. Hope you have a meal out!

  7. Lynda, one of those houses might just work! How many bedrooms? Room for the piano? If you're on a list that's good. Do you know how many are ahead of you?
Beau will be fine while you are gone. I am sure you will understand if he does have an 'accident.'
I would like you to not need to do so much yard work!
I paid my bills, placed a small order on Amazon for a supplement to help regrow gums (I'm at that point) and am going to sing and dance tonight at karaoke!
    Let's both have a great weekend. Oh, did you see my very late comment last night? {{{HUGS}}}

  8. Lots of luck with it all. One thing to think about - when Himself gets in worse shape physically or after he is gone are you going to want to be that far from your kids? Just a thought and pray that doesn't happen any time soon. But I'm sure it has crossed your mind. None of us are getting any younger. D

  9. I like how you are making plans to cover everything should the house sell. The grandkids can drive 45 minutes to visit you. They are busy and work so you can't sit in town for when they have a hot minute. lol Hope your outing went well today. Tomorrow is Sunday! We must rest and enjoy our favorite day. I think rain here in Ohio tomorrow. It's been 21 days without rain so I am excited. Have a great evening!

    2. I am not a city girl, either! That is why I like my mountains back home in West Virginia and live in cornfields of Ohio! Lol At least you had a good outing!

  10. Sorry that the Espanola location didn’t look good. If moving is meant to be, it will happen.

Glad that Lopez will stay with Son #3, but hope, too, that he stays put!

    Lovely picture!
