Aren't you glad that you are not a cow?

As soon as I can get out of this house, I am heading to the grocery store--dunno if I will take himself---or leave him here--problems could occur with both scenarios---Lord love a Duck!

And one more thing--I took all our hummingbird feeders down yesterday afternoon--I felt bad as some stragglers-- (hummingbirds) were flitting around--looked like they were in a tizzy----as no feeder-- The reason I did that, was because we had hornets, and wasps and many many bees around the feeders which are near the door--  Himself said that now the Hummers will go to the flowers--but--  hopefully they will head South to all your feeders. If you see these Hummingbirds--  carrying the Canadian flag, can you please  feed them?--I told them where you all live--well, the vicinity---

and now I must walk the  dogs and then head to the store--Happy Sunday to you all--- Stay strong--- WE MUST!

I thought the above kinda cute-- Our dogs do not sleep on our bed--but--they would if they could--
-so true eh?--

  1. Happy Sunday! It’s our fave day! So you are going to the store and probably do your sheets? I am resting today with my coffee and windows up. Such a nice breeze, cool and cloudy in Ohio this morning. So nice! Even a cow would be comfortable today but yes, happy I am not one. Lol I do have the older yorkie here in bed with me. Tommy is downstairs with my husband. Much better to rest that way. I hope your outing goes smoothly. You need that! It’s National Hot Dog Day (Mmm! Chili and cole slaw) and Grandparent’s Day! Enjoy! Hugs!

  3. Loved the inserts especially on staying positive in a negative situation. You are a great example of that.
Although its another gorgeous day in St.Louis, I am happy I'm not a cow.
The hummers will find food elsewhere and if they get to St.Louis they will surely eat well. Yes, I understand the concerns with bees and wasps close to the door.
Hoping trip to the store goes well. Sounds like it can't wait until tomorrow when himself is at lodge. If he stays or goes along...hoping its an easy trip.
Enjoy your day. Play piano for the pups and Sushi.
    Hugs

  5. We had lots of hummingbirds all Summer and I don't put up feeders . . . I have red flowers and lots of other flowers . . .they even liked the Nasturtiums in the garden and the flowers of the squash, beans and cantaloupe . . . I used to put up feeders but they drew too many ants for my liking . . . Good Luck at your grocery adventure. Is there day care for himself tomorrow?

    2. I'm a little emotional at times, and I project. The remaining cat, The Prisoner, seems to think he has to do Rubia's job of batting at my hand while I move the computer mouse now. Funny how they miss each other.

  9. Hi Lynda: Love the dog insert. Mine isn't allowed on the bed as she has so much fur, the bed would be always totally covered in it. The hornets/wasps are so bad this year. When I walk my dog they just won't leave me alone! Good luck with your trip to the store. Hopefully all is ok to go to the Lodge tomorrow. Hugs Brenda
