Don't worry-Be happy!

-and we have rain--  It is kinda nice!--

I did get groceries yesterday--a huge order--I took Himself with me--not Lopez--Himself waited in the car---A large order takes a very long time to get into the house--and then put away---I do not know which is worse--  a nice small order---  or a mega one----Of course I had to clean out the frig before putting  stuff in there--and by the time we returned home, it was noon---  so, we were both hungry---and, of course, Himself just sat down to eat while I ran downstairs and upstairs--  well, yu know how it is-- and then, son#4 appeared with his daughter---so I took time out to visit with her----so, by the time I got to eat, I was grouchy-----but----  we managed to get our nap in after all the  chaos---but, I felt I was playing "catch up" all day--

We have rain falling this morning--and---it is  "Daycare"for Himself---so I called , and yes, it will be happening--He seems to be ready to go--happy about it----ME TOO!

And, yesterday I cut grass -----  lotza grass--  if it would only slow down on the growing-----Cutting grass wears me right out--The Grandson seems to be very busy since school began--Oh well!

--TRYING NOT TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING ANYMORE_--How about you?---Things usually work out---  I must trust that they will-- The good Lord  usually  works his magic--- better than I can too--Worrying accomplishes nothing--  We know that!

Whatta great picture isn't it?--That is on our son's dock--The children lined up, are our Grandchildren and all this is just down the lake from us--- These children never worry--about anything--  We must be more like them!

  1. Happy Monday! Sorry your day was off plan a bit yesterday and you were hangry as they say. Lol No food can cause that. Himself seems to like Daycare which is great! Thank you for the worry meme today! I started worrying last night about that dental appointment at two today. I left the worst til last so think it is making me worse. I will repeat, listen to Lynda! Lol Enjoy your outing. Groceries are done so should be a good one! Just cloudy in Ohio. No rain. Hugs!

    2. I go back in two weeks just to get a temporary crown on and the real crown on but that is pretty simple. No needles. Other than that, it is my last appointment. All teeth are white now. I did cry a bit there. They said, "you've not come like this before." I told them I just wasn't feeling it today but they are amazing and helped me so much and I did it but boy, it was difficult. SO relieved. Thank you so much for asking, Lynda. Hope your day was lovely!

  2. I missed yesterday. It was my youngest grandson's baptism and we also celebrated his brother's upcoming birthday. It was such a hectic day that when I got home I crashed! Glad you got to the store and got your groceries but yes, putting them away is always such a hassle! It was nice that you were able to visit with your granddaughter. About worrying - one of my friends wrote this on Facebook today: God isn't asking you to figure it out. He's asking you trust that He already has. Something to think about! Enjoy your time alone this morning.

  4. Rain here, too. The grass is happy

Glad you got your shopping done and put away and a visit w/son #4 and granddaughter.

That is awesome that Himself was ready to go to Daycare! Progress! Success!

Dang, worry is such a habit and hard to give up! Lots going on w/DH here, too, and trying to remember to take it a day @ a time, deep breaths. We were @ Mayo Clinic last week from Wednesday through Saturday. We have to return on Monday next week, so have the travel clothes launders and packed already. Big help in being ready to go again.

What a beautiful picture of your son’s dock. Yes, need to be more like children and not worry . . . at least not as much, right!

  5. Hi Lynda: I love the insert about worry. It is so true. I do it too and about nothing that I should be worrying about. You son has a big dock. Nice to have all the grands there. I only need to do small grocery loads but would not want to do large ones if they were necessary. Too hard to get home and put away. Glad himself has gone to daycare today. Hope all goes well. And hope that grass stops growing so much. Take care and have a relaxing evening. Brenda

    1. Hi Brenda--Worrying is difficult to stop isn't it?--And usually everything turns out anyway--I like smaller orders at the grocery--so difficult to get a huge order away-Himself is thinking of going to daycare now on Friday morning also--I hope he does-Lynda

  6. Children who never have to worry? Have parents who give them stability, and hide their own worries! Your grandchildren are blessed!

If the grass is growing, it's not burning? Thank goodness. And of course living on a lake helps, doesn't it.

Glad the groceries got home and put away!

ulcer on my leg. Today I went to the dentist, a crown & many $$$$ later, tomorrow I go to the dr. for the leg, nothing can be done for the back unfortunately...been leaning on a heating pad for a few days to relax it.
