Forget your fears-

Another new day-a new beginning-- take a deep breathe---  because, here we go again--We do have rain--I like it--To-day is hair day----because I never got to the hair Lady last week, I sorta look like the young lady below----so, to-day I should get there--- I'm tying to decide here--

Himself participated in his Day Care  yesterday, and seemed to enjoy it--the Lady who runs it, asked me if he would like to attend  Friday morning also--He said, "NO"--- but---  we shall see when Friday rolls around--Everyday is a new day--and,  different mood for him it seems---

The 2 dogs have been out--We walked the back road--in the rain---As I sit in this house, with all the work involved-- I wonder if renting --or buying, another house , at this time in our lives, is wise-- We certainly are not Spring chickens----  This house , I can manage the grass and the gardens--just---and the places we see to buy, usually the yard is a horrible mess-- -It would mean beginning all over, and you know, I don't know how on earth I would ever manage it--starting from scratch--I don't think I have it in me anymore-

Yesterday I had a man with a truck-- drop off 3 huge rocks--out by our mail box- This way I can leave the mailbox out by the road without the snowplough knocking it down----Yu know--I love rocks--- as crazy as it sounds-Maybe it might be better to just stay here --forever--Who knows eh?

-Lots of decisions in our lives aren't there?----  and the decisions seem huge---more so than when we were younger-

I must get moving here--the bed to make--the vacuum to push around-- the dogs to get out--AGAIN---Lord love a Duck! It never ends does it?

-I like the wee girl below, telling me to forget my fears-- and forget what I was even afraid of--Great advice isn't it?

  2. Good morning! Light rain here in Ohio, windows open and birds chirping. Love it! I got a pic of a hawk sitting on a birdhouse. I love rocks too and yours look great! Wonderful idea! Hope himself goes Friday. Tell him they would love to see him! Yes, what to do about your house is hard to figure out. So much to do and think about. Enjoy your hair appointment. I feel like a new woman today with my teeth all white! Lol The things we go through. One of the biggest accomplishments for me! Took months to get through. Guess I will start Suresmile soon. I had braces for eight years when I was young but have shifted a bit. At least now they are trays not traditional metal brackets. I saw in the news this morning hummingbirds with glitter on their feathers! Have scientists a bit puzzled. Interesting, huh? Have a terrific Tuesday!

  3. Our mailman wouldn't deliver with those rocks there . . . it looks like the are in the way of him driving up. Do you stay at daycare with himself? You could make your hair appointments for when he is in day care and have nothing to worry about. The house thing is a challenging question . . .especially since yours didn't sell this year. I hope you have a snow remover all lined up for the winter as that is really to much for you.

  4. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. My husband and I have been going round and round about the same thing - should we downsize or just stay where we are. We also have a very large yard that has mostly gone to weeds over the past several years. It drives me nuts but Tom just doesn't care. We've decided to just stay and do the best we can without overdoing things. Sometimes it's just how we look at it - our attitudes. It took me all summer just to get the weeds out of the garden beds - I wanted to plant grass seed but that project will have to wait until spring! You will make the best decision for you and himself - trust yourself! Have a lovely day, and I hope when Friday rolls around he decides to go to the day care center. It seems like the socialization is helping him.

  5. I have to agree with A1D2 -I used to deliver mail and I would not be delivering to your box with those large rocks in the way. I hope you asked the mailman about that. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
You know, you keep waffling on the house situation. I think that means you really do not want to move, so don't think about it anymore. :)
    Have a good day!

  6. Don't ever stop talking about moving if it is on your mind. It makes some more of us think about our own situations as we try to decide what's best for us. Because of you, I know I have to de-clutter or pitch stuff before even thinking about it. I also am more realistic about the whole problem - - so you are helping us as we all seem to have the same quandry. Love the rocks and that should solve the snow plow problem. It never ends!!! D

  7. OH . . . .I HOPE that Himself will agree to Friday as well as Monday daycare. That would be so good for both of you.

I hope those rocks do the trick for keeping that mailbox in place!

That last meme is just what I needed today. Thanks!

It's a hard decision about whether or not to stay or move. So, just keep talking about it and if/when the time is right, you will know.

  8. I am commenting on yesterday's blog, too. My friend and I went to Mystic Casino yesterday, leaving at 9:30 AM. Didn't get home 'til 6. I was exhausted.
I do understand about playing catch up. There are times things come up, we can not stick to our routine of chores, shopping, etc. That's when we have to play "catch up."
Remember that old song, "Don't Worry, Be Happy?" I had heard that he committed suicide. I just looked it up. Snopes.com says it was just a rumor.
Can you wash, condition and style your hair in between visits to your hair person? I do, if I'm going somewhere. Otherwise, I don't bother.
Every day is a new beginning. We may not like change, but sometimes it's necessary. When we adjust to the change, we may find it better!
Come Friday, Himself may change his mind and go to day-care. Have you seen a significant positive change since he's been going there?
I with you...chores never end. Get dishes or laundry done...voila...they need it again. Same with floors, dusting, shopping. We must squeeze in some "me" time to de-stress.
    Hope you get to do that today! {{{HUGS}}}

  9. Hi Lynda
As I heard in aerobic class this morning.....breathe in, breathe out and move on.
As far as relocating...dont stop talking about it as many of us are in the same boat! Where to go or to stay...its tough. I get it. In the interim I purge lol. Can't hurt.
Those are some major rocks and will surely protect your mailbox from snow plow I HOPE. Your snow gets deep but I hope those do the trick.
I was hoping DH could go to center when you have hair apts so you don't worry about him at home with Lopez. Maybe as he gets more used to it he'll be more willing to go more frequently, assuming its open every weekday.
    Enjoy hair day.
Remember...breathe in, breathe out and move on.
    Hugs

  10. Hi Lynda: Don't know that the snowplow guys care about what they hit. Although if they broke the plow by hitting rocks that were put in the way, you would probably be hear about it. It could be a problem. I suggest you phone the township/city or whoever is responsible for doing it - or your son that works for the city. Maybe get those long sticks that are markers for plows to stay away from.Hope all went well with your hair trip. And also that himself goes to the Lodge on Friday. He seems to enjoy it. Take care Brenda
