Good morning.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles with your great inserts. I'm unable to copy and share them.....darn it.
Oh I'm extra awesome for sure. Working on ##s ... its hard to budge it off. Got a 45 min. walk in already this morning.
Great room looks so nice, fresh and clean. Lighter colored fireplace and mirror are a nice change. You can decide on pictures later and maybe you'll just put some of them back.
Ok..so himself is grouchy and painter isn't there. Hhmm. I sure hope painter is done and gone on Tuesday.
When mom calls you by your full name, its serious. I didn't realize until photo that you only have 2 grandsons. I know your daughter has a son. Lots of beautiful grands.
Small grocery run might be a good reset for the mood today. Be careful.
Have a blessed day. You are so amazing..strong, competent, resilient, loving, kind, patient and smart..among your many assets. Your family is lucky to have you.
Play your piano. The dogs like it and it might calm himself.
Hugs
Hi Lynda! You are a remarkable woman, too! I hope you enjoy your outing. Hopefully, himself will cheer up. Your living room looks beautiful! It will all be worth it when it is all done. It is cloudy and 64 here in Ohio today. Feels great with the windows open. I just made a gift bag for my dentist and assistant. I get my last real crown on Tuesday morning. They have been so good to me and calmed my anxiety so much to get me through all this! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and a great new week ahead! Stay strong!:)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, the urge to hide was IMMENSE when either Mom or Dad (mostly Mom) called me by my full nae. I KNEW that I’d been “found out” and would be held accountable.
ReplyDeleteSorry that Himself is in a mood HOPE you get him to calm down. ((HUGS))
AND YES, we ARE awesome!
Hugs

Lynda, the living room looks awesome...so comfy!
ReplyDeleteOnly you know if escaping to get groceries will make Himself better...or not.
Love the memes, as always! Sharing the one with the little big eyed boy. I can remember my mom calling "Margaret Ellen!"
I understand how a small list can turn bigger. You get to the store and notice, for instance, that an item you want or usually use is on sale! Hey, now's the time to buy. Or you see new things that look good that you have never tried. Or you see something you believe Himself will love...something new for the pets. Sometimes it seems endless,
Wonder if you could put the pictures back up with stick-um picture hangers that could be carefully removed later on with no damage to the wall.
Didn't go to karaoke last night. Turns out we had severe thunder storms starting just about when we were gonna leave and lasting all night! I could have done it, but the friend I take didn't want to go.
There's always next week.
I need to go for just a couple things, too. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain all day. Today there's been a few sprinkles, mostly cloudy, but peaks at the sun. 70F. The leaves are just beautiful!.
We keep strong cuz we want to and cuz we have to! {{{HUGS}}}
MARGARET ELLEN-----LOLOL--What a lovely name---- Yes, the small list turned into almost $300 --Now isn't that crazy??-AWW--I am sorry yu did not get to Karaoke last night-- but--I suppose a thunder storm is not nice to drive in--but I know that yu love that Karaoke-- YU know, it was such a lovely day here to-day--sunshine and very warm--I am in shorts--and yes, Himself has been very moody all day--I hate it when he is like that--- Yu know, he would be happier away from here--maybe he should live in the Lodge--but--it is expensive--Aww Margaret Ellen--- not a nice day for me-- Lynda
DeleteThat little boy is too cute. My brother got the full name a lot, I was better behaved than him! The post about the remarkable woman should be for you!! The living room looks very good, will be a selling feature if you're still doing that. If himself is in a bad mood, lord knows what he will be like when you get back from the store. Have a relaxing night and hope himself is going to the Lodge tomorrow. Good luck. Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrenda--- Yes , he is going to the Lodge to-morrow-=-and yes, he is in a VERY bad mood- tires me out--- oh well, ---- LyndA
DeleteOh, yes... I certainly identify with the small list on paper growing once it hits the inside of a grocery store! And the full name call? Oh, yeah!
ReplyDeleteBut somehow we survived to adulthood in spite of those calls, and raised our own kid(s) with the same "full name call" dread, didn't we? Love the little kid in the photo!
Onward, awesome women!
Good to hear from yu Barb==Lynda
DeleteYep - I always knew I was in trouble if my mom called me Sandra Jean! We share a middle name! Love the way your living room looks and am impressed how you got it all back together! I would leave the pictures off for now....you can hang them back up anytime in the future, but the podcasts about decluttering I have been listening to all emphasize that "less is more" and if you do end up staying there, you can easily rehang them if you want. I am contemplating having a yard sale to lighten my load of stuff that I have, but it just seems like it would be more work than I could accomplish by myself....so probably not. But I sure would like to live "lighter" without me being in charge of so much stuff that I don't use or know what to do with it.......oh the joys of getting old! And don' even get me started about the cost of groceries! I can afford them, but it makes me sad to think that some people are doing without essentials because of their fixed incomes. I am counting my blessings and trying to stay strong. Mowed for 3 hours today, did laundry and cleaned the garage.....including washing the windows and screens! So many bugs and spiders had taken up residence and I dedicated cleaning it after chasing a hummingbird around for several hours yesterday that was trapped in the garage.....finally got him out the window by dropping it down from the top and leaving him in their all night....guess he flew out when he saw the sun came up...but I was exhausted from waving the pool net around and finally gave up. But realized then that the garage needed to be cleaned after I did the mowing!
ReplyDeleteOpps! leaving him in "there" not "their"! Hate it when I send and then see a mistake and there is no longer an edit button!
DeleteIf my mother called my full name or mixed my brothers name in there, I was in deep stuff.
