A short little chat! --

--It is Tuesday-- I think we will get some snow-----It's that type of day--overcast---dark---  We did "the walk"on the back road--"---- not one dog did their business--hopefully later that might happen---

So far, no car keys have turned up--  I finally gave up searching----It is mind boggling how they just disappear----  The new set will arrive , maybe to-morrow----- and I will never carry 2 sets around with  me again----everything is a lesson, isn't it?--"live and learn"--

-I guess it is a sure sign that I just might have too much on my plate-----It really was difficult to get Himself into the Clinic--onto the elevator---into the Dr's office , in the wheelchair--and then to reverse the whole procedure--and get back home---  BUT, I DID IT___  but--I lost my car keys--

Oh well, it isn't the end of the earth--We do the best we can. when we can---which is pretty awesome!-and----  we really are awesome to do what we do, everyday--

  2. Yes, for sure everything is a lesson. Some lessons are harder than others. *SIGH* Glad you have a 2nd set of keys on the way.

YES YES YES, you have a lot on your plate and that’s when things happen. Unfortunately.

  3. Please tell us that you called the clinic or doctor's office to see if the keys were turned in. There's always a chance.

Colder here but in the 40's so it is rain and not snow (thank goodness). I'm sure not ready for that yet. My dog gives me dirty looks when he goes out - runs back to the door very quickly.

Have a good day. You know when you quit looking for the key it is likely to show up. Tis the way it goes!! D

  4. Hi Lynda: Yes, you have far too much on your plate. But just remember, it's much better to lose a key than have something happen to himself while in the wheelchair or something. Since you had to use the elevator to go to another floor with himself, have you noticed how inaccessible so many places are - like doctors offices! I never noticed until I started using a walker. Tonight you need to relax and play the piano for a while. Take care of yourself. Hugs Brenda

    1. Yes Brenda-- Drs offices are not easy to get into-- First of all-- there is the parking area, with holes in the concrete and the wheels of the wheel chair get stuck in those holes-- then there is the elevator door which closes too fast--then all the Drs reside on the 2nd or 3rd floor----then to get out, one must reverse the process--Oh--the blood Lab is on the 3rd floor----difficult for sure-- and then---- one must get that wheel chair back into the car-- Lordy Be! --Lynda

  5. Agree about the "too much on the plate" diagnosis. Accept the help that you can get, and cut yourself some slack about the bits that fall off the plate, and we'll all keep on keepin' on! (( hugs ))

  6. Lynda, I feel YOU are awesome to the max. Some of us just a wee bit awesome.
We had overcast and very humid day, too, but no precipitation. It's only 37F and freezing is 32F. Probably tonight it will come.
Did you need to take Himself to the clinic again today?
Really hope your new key fob comes quickly. That's probably when the old one will turn up.
Got all that I need to make the broccoli cheese casserole with the crispy onions that my daughter wants to me to bring Thursday. It's fashioned after the green bean casserole.
Interesting and hard to get used to even after 5 years living in Minnesota. MN is the only state in the country that DOES NOT make a casserole. In MN they make a 'hot dish.'
    Meditating time now. Hope you both have an enjoyable and relaxing evening. {{{HUGS}}}

    1. No---but I had to get him in to town as the Dr changed his antibiotic-I guess the swab came back and the swab- he took was resistant to the antibiotic he was on--Yu are so gOOd--I really do try with Himself, but--there are times that the King of England could not please him--I think the worst is the heat he seems to think he needs in the night-- The poor furnace is hiked wayeeeeeee up-----and his bed is heated --- anyway--- I am just tired I guess-- LOL---- maybe I should meditate too--LOL-Lynda

  7. Lynda your Right! The caregiver demands on top of household running is a lot and at times TOO MUCH. I hear you. I get it. I live it. At times I have compassion fatigue...my term for my brain and body are overloaded. Yes. Many medical offices are not very handicapped assessible and getting a wheelchair over the parking lot can be a real challenge. Why are medical offices always on a higher floor???
I laughed that you called everyone and the King about your keys. At least replacements are on the way and you won't carry both sets.
Do something you enjoy to de-stress....
Cloudy, overcast but still 40F here.
At least I don't have shoveling on my list of tasks.
    Take care of you.
    Hugs
