OH MY GOD!

-I made up my mind--To-day WILL be a good day--We have SNOW --lightly falling--and it is supposed to stop in a hour-  I cleared some Chihuahua trails on the front lawn and --Lopez  did his business-- Lordy Be! Praise Be To God!---so that is over with--

We have so much snow now, it is not possible to take the dogs on the back road--our driveway is once again a mess of snow, but, later on , I'll get out there and drive up and down it--hopefully to pack it-It is mild this morning--like around zero--so, it is a wet snow falling--

Guess what?-- The snow plough guy appeared yesterday--He walked in with the nurse who did himself's dressing---I looked down , inside the door to the garage and there was this man standing there--I said to the nurse, "Who is that?"------and she replied, "I have no idea. He just walked in behind me!"--

The man, looking up at me, told me he was here to plough, but he had no snow machine--- and said, "Could I use yours?"--

Lord love a Duck!-- My machine is an EGO---battery driven-- I love it--but---- I would never loan it to anyone---so----- this story ended (sorta)--with me showing him around outside-- and telling him, I will call him in an Emergency--but----the truth be told, I think I'd do it myself before I would allow an Emergency situation to occur--

-So, the snow plough guy--with no working snow blower, who never called me , in my emergency situation, yesterday, must figure I am a dumb elderly  blond ----Little does he know, that even  "ahem"-----that women might appear pretty helpless, but we ---  are strong--- with a huge brain in our head  FULL of smarts which we have earned over all our years--

Good thing we have that "inner voice" I'd say-----and when we hear those bad vibes,  we trust that inner voice when it talks to us--"WE ARE SMART"---

Now I must get busy--  I have to be at the car dealership by noon to have them program my new car key--which Himself told me a million times to not carry 2 keys with me--When will "I" ever learn ????

  2. Gee whiz, Lynda, if you have some kind of online Neighborhood site, I’d report what happened, that sort of CLOD should not be given jobs! You were right to not trust that kind of CLOD! Neither should anyone else.

  3. Hi Lynda: I can't believe a guy would come to clear snow with no snow machine. He'd probably use yours and take it with him. Not at all trustworthy. You need to get help but see what else you can find. What about the guy and his son who dropped by last year? The nurse should be careful who she lets in. Hope all goes well at the dealership. Have a good night. Brenda

  4. It's Kathy. I haven't gotten my problem solved yet but I'm going to try to post. Good for you for getting a path made for little Lopez. My Daisy hates the snow. We had frost this morning but it's nice enough now that I can take her for a short walk! Yes, we are smarter and stronger than most people give us credit for. Have a lovely day.

  5. Oh my. Sounds like you have a LOT of snow. Hope driving over it to pack it down works!

Lord have mercy! What is that all about?? A sow plough guy shows up w/o a working plough? Nope would have done the same as you. Definitely NOT a dumb blonde! And definitely strong!

Good luck w/the key programming. Nothing is simple now!

  6. I'll admit I got tickled at the snow plow guy story. Some people think we are so gullible that they will try anything. Good for you! How was the dressing for the leg? Is it healing up alright? If it's not one thing, it is two others. Our weather is warmer than yours but I still am waiting for spring. Got down to about 20 F last night but up to 56 this afternoon so can't figure what to plan on. I'm a little south of St. Louis.

Sadie just let me know that it is time to start moving and getting something done. D

Egad $400 for key and reprogramming. I know fobs are crazy expensive but cant do it yourself.
    Glad himself leg is better.

  8. Marti here.

Don't know if you saw this, but I wrote it on the post, what, two days ago?

"Lynda, I am sorry for barking at you. I am in the midst of a bad breakup with my boyfriend WHO I CANNOT REASON WITH and I am going slowly insane. I just feel frustrated for you. I apologize."

  9. Lynda, carrying 2 keys might come in handy...like if you lost one while out, you'd still have one. Unlikely scenario, though.
That inner voice on the meme...that's our guidance from Source (say God if you want). The guidance comes in feeling, in emotions. A bad feeling is a "no." A good feeling a "yes."
This is just the beginning of the snow issues...months yet to deal with it. It is pretty, but I am not looking forward to it. Bet you aren't, either.
Got my replacement tabs today, and they are on the license plates!
Got another coat from GoodWill. The old down one from 3 years ago was getting too small. The one I found is 100% leather, has a hood that it fuzzy trimmed and zips off, has an upper pocket, 2 nice deep side pockets and the wind will never get in! Today was their day for 25% off for seniors an veterans. Since I am both, I got the coat for $18.74!
It was warmer here today and almost as warm tomorrow. Looks like we are getting a break.
Hope the rest of your day went well. Wonder if you asked the man why he didn't show up when he said he would to begin with?!
