"World, Here I Come!"

GET OUT THERE AND BE AMAZING---Yes--ALL of us! ----

There was so much going on yesterday---I thought I would never handle it all--but-----Lord love a Duck---  with the help of Son#1, who cleaned up the driveway  taking the snow  away--and---- Later on, I even made it to pick up Himself, in town at 12-30pm--- --- and brought him back home, after stopping for just a few groceries--

Actually, the highway was fine----the town roads were a tad dicey, but   if one drove slowly, all was good!--I guess the key was to not panic--tell myself that I CAN do it-----

The nurse is going to be here soon, to dress Himself's wounds on his leg-(from the car door)--  They seem to be healing quite well-and it is his final day on antibiotics-

I'm afraid the above,  is what our corner of the world looks like to-day--snow-snow--and more snow--about 100 ft deep---(-- Well, I am known to  bend the truth somewhat-)--I feel like we have entered right into winter , full blast, and it feels early!

We could look like this-----and one day I will-----or-----
We could have a little spring in our step--- like the Lady above---because, we are strong people---age is only a number--- It's what we decide to be--strong--- confident, happy-- kind , intelligent people--

It is up to us----to wiggle a tad--- and face our world-- with confidence---

I hope that you all are laughing----- (and not thinking that I've gone completely bonkers here!)-

So--- get offa here and put that wiggle in you step--  and say--"WORLD___  HERE I COME!"

  1. Lynda, we are all bonkers!
Happy Himself will get the help he needs. The nurse will be able to tell if he needs a refill on his antibiotics.
Snow here, too...but not like you have! And it's to be 30F today...just barely below freezing...and 40F tomorrow. If the sun shines, all the snow will be melted.
Are you decorating inside for Christmas? I will put a few things up, but not like when the kids were young. My daughter even hides an 'elf on the shelf.' Have you heard of that?
Left my Kindle in the car. Tried to use it, and it must be too cold. Figured I forgot to turn it off, but when I brought it in to charge, it says it was still 98%.
Christmas shopping for my nearby relatives and friends is all done. Never have I finished so early. Now, though, I have all those gifts to wrap. My little tree hangs on the wall so I can't pile the presents under it.
We deal with what we need to deal with. At least that about the tree and gifts is not hard to deal with...not like the stuff we deal with.
Yes, we are strong. If we choose not to be strong and just give up...well, we might be done with life. You and Himself have not done that! Me, either. Still things I want to do...like goat yoga. I saw it on TV. Yoga poses with baby goats climbing on you...and you getting to love on them! I can do it less than an hour away in Hastings, MN. It's fun even just to think about.
    Hope your day proceeds just the way you want it to and that the other family members are well-behaved. {{{HUGS}}}

  3. Hi Lynda! It was high 25, windy and snow flurries all day here in Ohio. I hope Himself got a good report from the nurse. I hardly go out in the Winter. I admire you for getting out there and taking care of so many things in the weather. I hope you don't do too much taking care of snow and that man, or some man, comes to your rescue! You have enough to do. Enjoy your evening!

  4. Hi Lynda: Boy, you got a lot of snow! Glad I live in Toronto! Son #1 sure is a big help. Although probably won't be able to do it all the time with the restaurant to look after. Glad you got himself to and from daycare. Hope the nurse makes it there. And remember you are always strong and capable of doing so much - you are much better than me! Have a good night. Brenda

    2. Glad yesterday worked out better than you anticipated. Thank heavens for Son #1’s help w/the driveway.

That’s great that you have someone changing Himself’s wound and keeping tabs on it . . . a little less on your plate.
