There is ONLY ONE TO-DAY----

It is to-day---Nov. 10th---  Lordy Be! Yesterday, because it was Remembrance Day at Himself's Lodge , I thought it was Remembrance Day everywhere---Of course , Remembrance  Day, is to-morrow, of course, Nov. 11th--

To-day is a special day however--  It is a day to relax , before the weekend---As it says above, there is only ONE TO-DAY, so we can make it a special day--

I zipped into town at 7am, to the Clinic--in the dark---to get blood work done--I was there, maybe 15 minutes---It was ordered by my new Doctor, who I like---I have a virtual appointment with him in December. This seems to be standard practice now----I think he is going to tell me to  "lay off" the ice cream---my very most  favourite food choice----- (I already am cutting back!)

Himself and I, have decided to travel to Daycare, only twice a week-- I just cannot get him in there--AND TO MY HAIR LADY--3 trips to town, on a Thursday---  From now on he will go Mondays and Fridays-

Yes, I wish you Comfort on difficult days, Hugs when spirits sag, Faith so you can believe, Confidence for when in doubt, Courage to know yourself, Patience to accept the truth , and Love to complete your life-----

Yesterday was as a difficult day for me--the snow began wth just a light dusting--but--eventually turned into this----

but----to-day,  it is much milder and the snow is melting---

So, when you do not think yu can deal with whatever is happening in your life,-like all that snow yesterday-----"Patience "-hang in there, and--trust that whatever  path you are on, is the path you need to  be on, even if it doesn't make any sense right now---

Mom used to say, "Patience is a virtue-Possess it if you can, It is often fund in Women-- but--never in a man"----Lord love a Duck!

Enjoy to-day---

  1. That last quote from your mom is really funny! Love the Emerson poem, too.
That snow looks heavy...pretty, yes...but troublesome. Glad it is less now.
With hair day, you will still be driving into town three days a week. Is that right? Too bad you can't get your hair done while Himself is in daycare. Or have I got things mixed up? That wouldn't surprise me.
Just got back from my free Veterans Day breakfast: scrambled eggs, cheesy potatoes, bacon and/or sausage (I had crisp bacon), biscuits and gravy, French toast sticks with little cups of syrup. On the tables where vets sit to eat there were platters of giant muffins of different kinds, bowls of donut holes. Drinks were coffee, milk, oj...They give you so much food! I had to have a container to bring home leftover. The container had room for a chocolate chip muffin.
You have cut down on ice cream...I have to cut down on everything for a few days!
Officially, Veterans Day is tomorrow, same as your Rememberance Day. I may have spelled that incorrectly.
    Have a great weekend, dear...all 5 of you. {{{HUGS}}}

  2. Yikes. That's a lot of snow. I'm glad it's melting some today. It's good 4hat you decided to do daycare on Monday and Friday. Sometimes we just have to listen to ourselves. Relax and enjoy your day.

  3. You made the right decision to only take Himself twice a week as you really have to think of yourself and your health. If something happened to you Himself would be lost and not have the help that he needs and relies on. I am glad to hear that your snow is melting. We have plenty of time to see high snow banks in the months to come. Take care of yourself. Hugs

  4. The quote from your mom I've heard before and I agree.
Loved the Emerson insert along with the path you are on insert......powerful thoughts.
That SNOW is ridiculous. I HATE that you had to shovel it.
Too bad himself can't go to daycare on hair day. You've worked out what days work best for your ability to take and get him.
    Hope your day went well.

  5. Well 2 days a week at daycare is better than 1 so don't worry. You are entitled to a day as well. You work so much. I'm glad the snow is melting and try to get hold of the guy who said he would help this year! Love the little girl at the end with the cup of hot chocolate. So cute.

  6. Good for you for setting your boundaries for what you can or can't do. You definitely need time to just breathe and 2 days/week will be good for both you and Himself for daycare.

    Love your Mom's quote.
