Laugh anytime you can !

Good morning on this very cold windy day--It is not snowing, but--it feels like it is "on the verge"

--I must show you some  pictures from Son #2-- of the beach in Los Angeles--It looks pretty good on this is  cold  wintery day in Northern Ontario--

--Here he is, landing in Toronto--where his wife was waiting and took the  picture below-
An interesting life a Pilot leads, I'd say---

I had to grab Sushi, the cat who lives on the top level of this house--and hide the clippers--and a bath towel , to wrap her in tightly, and I trimmed her nails--If she sees me coming , she runs and hides-

I read----- There is really nothing you must be
And there is nothing you must do
There is really nothing you must have.
And there is nothing you must know.
There is really nothing you must become.
However. It helps to understand that fire burns,
and when it rains, the earth gets wet.....
by-----Manabu  Foljamakis--from the book, by Robert Fulghum, in "WORDS I WISH I WROTE"_

so, now  you can do whatever , and just enjoy the day---as long as you realize that when it rains, we will get wet--so relax----

I hope that you decide to be happy to-day--and remember to feel special, because, each one of us are unique----
-and we can choose to do whatever we want--act however we wish--No-one can decide that for us-- as as long as we are kind--

  3. Sorry Himself did not get to go to daycare since he enjoys it so much...and such nasty weather, guess it could be sleet/ice so it could be worse.
Love the picture from California...David used to be stationed there, then he lived there after the service, along with a zillion other places.

  5. It's Kathy. I love the words by Manabu Foljamakis. I'll have to look up that book. I try every day to not get stressed out by the things that I "think" have to be done! Today I went to Pilates and I feel so much better now than when I left the house - so that was a good thing. I am going to try and get a short walk in with Daisy - it's cool outside but not horrible. Yesterday the wind made it feel very harsh on the skin. I'm hoping by this afternoon the wind will die down. I hope the daycare has enough staff for Thursday & Friday - I really think it's so good for you both to have that to look forward to. My husband is going to a class tonight and I can't wait! He'll be happy when he comes home and Daisy and I will have some quiet time together! Have a lovely day.

  6. Hope you can enjoy the day today. At least no snow. In north Texas, it is 83, fans on in the house, flip flops on, tank tops, etc, flowers that we thought froze 2 weeks ago, are coming back again, so strange weather, not normal. Glad you could do Sushi’s nails.

  7. Love the pictures from L.A. Much nicer than you have and what we had yesterday. My dog got groomed yesterday afternoon. She has tons of fur and when her dogwalker came a little later, the skies opened up and the thunder started and we had a real storm. They were soaked when they got back.. So much for the expensive grooming!! At least she dried off by later in the evening and looked better. California looks so much nicer! Have a good evening. Brenda

  8. It's been quite awhile since I waited this long to post. Today has been quite busy for me with shopping at a shop with the car...Sadie stuff, etc.
Hope you get notice of this.
Memes are great! Beautiful baby girls. And I have the quote saved already in my quote file.
My kids live in the middle of California and, yes it does get pretty cold. My daughter-in-law has a down coat! Not as cold as where you are or where I am, though. I'd take it any day.
    Was that cat really Sushi?
Lucky has no front claws ( I didn't do it!) and takes care of his back ones himself. (Opps. I almost capitalized that word).
    Bed time already, Lucky wants a snack, and I am done on the computer. {{{HUGS}}}
