Never forget what day it is---

I did not forget to post-- I have been through a lot to-day--

I put a post online about Remembrance Day----You see, Himself had Remembrance Day at his Lodge--His Day Care-----  I thought it was Remembrance Day all over-TO-DAY!----(I think I am "losing it"--LOL--

So I blogged about what I called Memorial Day--Son#2 called and asked if I was alright--Lord Love A Duck!--I'm probably not alright as we had our very first snow storm overnight also--which I shovelled 'till the cows came home---

so--the Remembrance Day Blog is "on hold"--- until the 11th--

I drove Himself   to his morning out-- a morning at the Lodge---in freezing rain---It is much nicer now--sunny and about 4 degrees--We have decided that going for his "Daycare" will remain only on Mondays and Fridays--getting him there and back , on 3 mornings , is just too difficult for me--

I am off of here-- going for my hair--Right now, my hair is beginning to resemble this Lady---

So, this is a very short blog--just to say hello--and goodbye--and I hope your day is going better than mine has--LOLOL-
Big Beau wants to remind you who you are--braver---stronger, smarter-------and to enjoy to-day--even if it snows-

  1. It's Kathy. Apparently if I comment on my tablet my name comes up. Sorry you had a rough morning. I'm not looking forward to snow. I hate to drive in it! We are getting a week of mild Temps next week. We can finish the outside things. Have a good day.

  4. Hi Lynda: Can't one of your sons take himself to daycare one day a week and perhaps you pick him up? I thought you had arranged for someone to do the snow this year. Why are you shovelling. And thanks to Beau for his pawsitivity? Have a good night. Hugs Brenda

  5. It will be another difficult winter, so sorry that your area does not have more services to help with snow removal. What a shame.

  6. Sorry you have to shovel all that snow. I know you are protecting your back...
I already posted on a blog of yours. Thought it was for today. Sometimes I think I am losing it.
No snow here yet. Not too cold...but that wind!
Did some shopping today and a few other chores. Not alot. On the webmd newsletter there was a really complete article about Crohn's. That's what I have and that's what makes me so tired! Glad I found that out.
Supper time here now for Lucky and me. I am having half a can of my favorite low sodium lenil vegetable soup with some whole wheat Ritz crackers.
Tomorrow will be a marvelous breakfast for me and a friend...all free for Veterans Day, Then I will get a card from Great Clips for a free haircut.
Good idea until springtime to just have Himself go to daycare Monday and Friday.
    Hope we both have a good night with our pets behaving. {{{HUGS}}}

    1. Yes Im afraid I am losing it--LOL--I posted the wrong blog--I guess the snow --and the pressure of driving Himself in to DayCare in the freezing rain, tgot o me--- so, I erased the whole thing--started again----Gee, I do hope too that all our pets sleep thru the night to-nite----I must study up on Crohn's disease--and yes, Daycare only 2 mornings--tgoo difficult to get him in 3 times-Good to hear from yu-Lynda

  7. OH my! Sorry you had to deal w/icy conditions, but glad you and Himself are all right! Well, as all right as one can be shoveling from a snow storm and driving in bad conditions. That's too bad to only use daycare 2 days a week for Himself, BUT . . . you have definitely made the right decision. The weather makes it so hard.

    HUGS and take care.

  8. Oh my, snow!!! I am so NOT ready for that. I believe that I become a bear in cold weather. All I want to do is stay inside, eat, and hibernate…
When the weather is cold and roads are tough, it is not good to go out. Good decision on twice a week for himself.
I hope that you can find someone else to shovel. There has got to be a service out there.
Hugs to you and have a warm and hopefully relaxing weekend! I’m going outside before our snow and finish with cutting and pulling my flowers. Late, but I’ve had company for a week.

  9. Just saying "Hi" and hoping Friday goes well. We call the holiday Veteran's Day down here in the 'states, and it always throws me when the 11th falls on a weekend and they shift the observance to Friday or Monday. My grandfather served in WWI, in France and later was a POW in Germany, and Armistice came the day before his birthday. Can you imagine a better gift for a soldier than the end of hostilities?

Onward! And hope you don't get buried in snow!
