Life is Tough my Darling, but so are you-

Good day to you all--- Are you calm,  centered with your intention for the day, and relaxed?  Difficult to get prepared for a harmonious positive experience isn't it?--Why is it always so difficult to take the time, to prepare ourselves , for the day?--We prepare everyone else in our family, but never just us--

Our family seems to come first---which is okay,---but, "We" are important also.

I got up this AM, with a basket of laundry and ran downstairs to try out the new wash machine-It is beautiful---quiet---just chugs along---  I guess it doesn't take much to make my day , because I keep  telling Himself about my beautiful new washer--(and of course he doesn't hear me)-Lopez hears me---  "S"----

The sun is out--the lake is open--no more ice on it---and it looks like Spring, but---  it is still cold--too cold to garden for sure.

Did I tell you that Monday I have to go to see my eye Dr. in Sudbury?  I have a Driver as they always dilate the eye  so one cannot see very well after--I have arranged to have Himself go to one of the boys--the problem is that Lopez must go to Son #3, who can't seem to contain this wee dog in his house and I have visions of Lopez on the loose again, and running here and there, looking for me--That is exactly what happened before and I  don't know how he wasn't hit by a car--I really feel he should come to Sudbury with me, which probably is not a good idea either.

I suppose I will just have to hope and pray all goes well--but---- I dunno-------just hard--

I am making a pot of soup for supper---  I hope Himself is not messing with my plans, while I'm  up here typing--and--I am hoping that I do not have to make any trips to town to-day--It will be  just so good to be home here all day---I can keep looking at my new wash machine --LOL--Funny how, as we age , very different things make us happy!
---like all of you!

I hear Himself vacuuming--  Holy Cow eh??--  (That makes me happy also!)--

Good Happy Thoughts--- really does change how our day unfolds--doesn't it?--so---

DON'T WORRY--BE HAPPY!

  1. It's Kathy. Some days I don't feel so tough, but we do what we have to do to get through the day! Today I have to clean my house, I've put it off long enough. It's chilly outside today, cloudy with little bits of snow in the air. But they tell me it's warming up to 50 degrees. I'm so glad you like your new washer. Sometimes it's things like that which make our lives a little bit easier. And good for himself for vacuuming. I hope all goes well on Monday!

  2. Hello, it's Marti. Yes, I love new appliances. I was so excited when I got a new dishwasher, microwave, stove, and fancy refrigerator here - replacing the old ancient ones that were here. Stainless steel. I still love them. We are going to my cousin's 80th bday party tonight. It's going to be a costume party, I bought 70's outfits from Amazon, but John, I don't know what to call him, not my boyfriend. John, my partner, well, his costume won't arrive today, I ordered them too late I guess. Mine came, but his it says won't come until 10 pm. I guess I just won't stress! I still have to figure out what to go and buy her. Party's not until 7:30 pm tonight.

Have a nice day! I hope everything goes well for you on Monday. I always just pray, and leave the rest up to God (or fate, or whatever you want to leave it to, lol).

  3. Playing catch up on all your recent blogs! I have been on a trip with the senior citizen's group in our town. We went to Nashville, Tennessee and it was jam packed full of different places to go and see! There were 52 of us on the bus. I am not a big country music fan, but I really enjoyed all of the events on our itinerary! So happy that you have new washing machine and your day is going well! Hopefully, son #3 will remember Lopez's escape the last time and will make sure that he can't get out and away again! Fingers crossed! Hugs!

  4. Yes, family is important for sure, but WE have to be on that ‘important list’ too.

Good luck w/the eye Dr. on Monday. Prayers and fingers crossed.

Sorry such a challenge w/wee Lopez! I HOPE that things go well.

Glad that your new washer is so nice! Yes, it’s amazing what can make our day, right!

  5. Lynda, I am so glad that you love your new washer!
Maybe have son #3 put Lopez in a crate while you are gone and be sure he's on leash if he has to potty? And just t r u s t.
Himself must try to help out now and then. I've seen you post before that he vacuums. (that must be the only work with a double u.)
Sadie helped me do so much work yesterday that I am very tired today. Didn't sleep well due to a pulled bicep muscle. Never had one of those. Must be from swiveling that heavy mattress. I have lost so much weight, there must be muscle loss, too. I'm down to 117.7 pounds (53.38 K)
That would have worried me even when I was a Sparker.
We just deal. Guess I need to start eating ice cream in the evening, ;-)
I may not do karaoke tonight due to that left bicep. That's the hand I use with my cane. If I had to catch myself.
Shouldn't even be telling you about the negative stuff.
Positives are helped a friend today, and she pumped gas for me.
My favorite store is delivering groceries for me this afternoon.
I have lots of good food to eat, my kitty is the current love of my life. I have all I need and lots of what I want.
That's better, huh? Wash away, my sis. Maybe Sadie will help. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  7. What's that old saying, "A change is as good as a rest"? Anyway, it's wonderful that the new wash machine is behaving so well! And quietly. Quiet is one of the blessings of life, dontcha think?

  8. Hi Lynda! I hope the eye doctor visit goes well for you and Lopez! It’s only 51 and windy here in Ohio. We got a few things done outside but will wait for a warmer day to do more. I showed my husband your new washing machine. He said it was very nice and you could have went with the next model down without so many features. He said the salesman probably up sold you. As long as you love it is all that matters. Tomorrow is our favorite day. Let’s enjoy!

  9. Hi - congrats on the new washer. Sounds like a winner to me! Have you thought of leaving Lopez in the crate at your house while you are gone? If it is just for the day, he will be fine! Put a blanket in it and maybe some food but think of all the people who work and have to leave them like that for the day. Just a thought! At least you wouldn't have the worry of him getting loose. 10. Hi - have you thought of leaving Lopez in a crate for the day? It would be safer for him and less worry for you - put a blanket in there and maybe a little food and he will be fine. Think of all the working people who have to leave their pets for the day - as long as it is not overnight you will be fine. Dot

  11. Hi Lynda: You worry too much! Lopez will be fine. I'm sure your son will keep a closer eye this time. Or just leave him at home in his crate. That's what I do every time I go out and my dog is fine when I do that. You can't take him with you to a hospital and it wouldn't be fair to your driver to have him/her looking after him while you're in there. Glad your washer is working good. And enjoy your soup for supper. Hugs Brenda

  12. Hi Lynda. Lopez will be fine if he goes to sons or if he stays at home in crate. Good luck with your appointment. No need to worry about Lopez. Dogs stay home or wherever alone all day long when owners work. Mostly they sleep.
How nice that you love your new washer. So happy it makes you happy.
Hey, good on doc for helping out by doing vacuuming. I'd like that.
I just love your clever, sweet, funny, thought provoking, pondering inserts. No idea where you find them but they're great. I love receiving your daily blogs. You make my day.
Sadie helped me with bed changing, laundry and cleaning today. She's great :)
    Take care of YOU.
Sunny but cool in St.Louis. It sounds like your weather FINALLY shifted. I sure hope so.
