So sorry for the loss. Your Himself’s family definitely do live long lives.
ReplyDeleteThe picture your DD sent of the eclipse is amazing. My DH grew up in Cleveland and they experienced the total eclipse. We did not, but it was interesting to see on TV those areas that did.
**SIGH* it’s hard to think of FOREVER when thinking about ice cream. So, *I* say, for today I will not have ice cream. Works with bread, too. Eating healthy is worth the effort, isn’t it.
You have been busy w/phone calls, getting the light coats upstairs for use and being Sadie!
Love the memes, and I do believe no matter what, a good woman will always be a good woman!
HUGS and here's to a good Tuesday.

I think its their diet because they all live long long lives--NO ICE CREAM--LOL-Yes I did a lot to-day--- tying to rake the front lawn also-- was so mild--no jacket needed --Lynda
DeleteLynda, I am first today...unless someone else posts theirs before I am finished.
ReplyDeleteCondolences on the passing of Himself's uncles wife (Himself's aunt by marriage?) Does he remember her?
We missed the eclipse due to cloud cover. I didn't ever get the special glasses anywhere.
Sadie's not doing much here today. Yesterday's chores deserved a day off today. She's at your house, anyway.
Besides, I need to take my 'big sister,' the one that with the bariatric walker that I take to karaoke) to the eye doc to get a shot in her eye! Imagine! Hope I never progress that far. I wear good wrap around sun glasses and take my eye vitamins.
The photo is great. Is the lady that made her transition in the photo?
Mostly sunny here today with no rain. It is to reach 60F (15.566C) here this afternoon. It looks like spring has sprung! Soon the flowering trees including my beloved lilacs. Do you get them as far north as you are.
We are about a 7-8 hour drive away from each other, but when I win the lottery, I will show up on your door step!
Until then, I will keep following your blog.
Hopefully no big space today. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Yu certainly were the 1st ----We could not see the eclipse either but saw Allison's picture--Yes se do get lilacs --I love them! --It was so mild outside--no jackets needed--nice!--And do take are of your eyes----7-8 hrs apart--all of Michigan--- We live 2 hrs from Michigan border--west--along the northern shore of Lake Huron--one day--one day--Hugs my friend-- now rest your eyes--Lynda
DeleteSo sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteThank yu--hard to lose a good person-Lynda
DeleteCondolences on the loss of Himself‘s Aunt. Does he recall her? We had total black night here, in the afternoon, in Texas. It was a very nice experience. I’m glad grandson experienced it here. Too bad your grands missed it, maybe sometime in another future.
ReplyDeleteEven I felt impressed and I never saw it----yes we both recall her--she was a very "hip" persn--Lynda
DeleteSorry for your loss. Your daughters pictures of the eclipse are good. I bought the glasses and looked for it but never saw it. Guess I missed the few minutes when I should have been looking. I like the saying that includes - a good woman will always be a good woman - which includes you! And I like ice cream too. Have a good night. Brenda
ReplyDeleteAwww Brenda--ice cream is the best !-- We never saw the eclipse here either--but those tat saw it were impressed- Happy to hear yu are an ice cream -aholic--LOl--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I tried to post earlier but it wouldn't let me. I'm glad I waited. I love the affirmations and yes, a good woman will always be a good woman. I'm sorry for your loss but it's pretty amazing that your husband's family all live so long! I also loved the photo your daughter posted of the eclipse. I hope you have had a really great day!
ReplyDeleteKathy-I wonder why it wouldn't allow you to pos--If that ever happens, my email address is fldunloplake @vianet.ca
DeleteHi Lynda! Sorry for the loss of a family member. Love the eclipse photos. They look darker than it was here only 40 minutes away from your daughter. My nephew got a great pic taken in Southern WV. I was surprised since they weren’t in a good totality area. I hope your day was good and not too much Sadie action. My neighbor got a new golden retriever puppy. Her name is Sadie. Lol Enjoy your night.
ReplyDeleteoh so nice--a new puppy called Sadie--I love that!--- --- Yes the eclipse was amazing--not here but--impressive anyway--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda,
ReplyDeleteSorry for himselfs family loss. They certainly do have longevity.
Daughters eclipse pics are cool. We didn't have totality here so it wasn't as dramatic as what your daughter got to see. HUGE traffic jams lasting eight hours for those in my area who chose to travel 2 hours from St.Louis to see totality. It really is amazing but stuck in traffic for a day would not be fun.
Loved the good woman insert. YOU, Lynda, are a good woman. I loved the affirmations...good reminders for each of us.
Hope your day was fabulous....just like you.
Hugs and blessings
Marge in St.Louis
Hi Marge-- We women are amazing--We have to be ! It was a good day--YU too??--Hugs, Lynda
DeleteSo sorry for the family loss Lynda. The Eclipse here in southern Illinois totally blacked us out as in dark of night. One of my friends went up in his glider and got some awesome pictures. Glad he got down safely...had some engine trouble. Traffic here was unbelievable...grandson said in Marion,IL hotel rooms were going for $1600 a night.
DeleteI am fortunate to have gotten home while it was clear, had lunch with one of my sons' former girlfriends..she and I have always stayed close.
Hope I can keep up better..in the future.
Darlene--I think yu keep up very well-- so nice to hear from yu-Lynda
