There is a child in all of us--

Himself is at his day Program---  I have taken the car to the Dealer to have the summer tires torqued- and then the sensors dealt with--then I ran over to Rona and bought a wash machine---  put it onto a credit card,  and when I returned home, Costco had been here and dropped off multi boxes--right to our door--so all that had to be put away----  The new wash machine will arrive Thursday-----Some of you were asking why I didn't just fix the other washer--because a service call to have a guy come and look at it is costly, and I believe he will tell me that it cannot be repaired-- ----  So it has been a busy morning here and soon it is time to go and pick up "the man of the house"--

Son#2, the Pilot, is in Copenhagen, Denmark, right now---  flew overnight--He says the blue dot is him! There seems to be a great deal of water around him--- probably lots of seafood--

That is his hotel----  on the river---I'm sure the FOOD PICTURES  will arrive soon--

We have sunshine----  Oh----  and Sandhill Cranes  must be nesting--- They fly over--2 at a time, and they sound like a squeaky gate--very loud!  I love to see them , with their long legs out behind them.

So, how is your day going?---I hope the crazies are not getting you down!  Are you attempting something new?---sewing?---  gardening??---shopping ?--- buying a wash machine?---

Is Spring  in your part of the world?--Are you digging out summer clothing?---stashing winter boots away?-Whatever is happening, I know that you are dealing with everything just fine------because-----you are stronger than  you were yesterday----

Time to tidy up here--and "hit the road"--"get the guy"----Hopefully I can rake the front lawn this afternoon--Everyday I say that, but it never seems to happen--Wash machines break---etc etc---  but------                        TODAY JUST MIGHT BE MY DAY____
Always see the magic in simple things--There is a child hidden, in everyone of us--This might be that day to bring it out! Enjoy to-day-----even sing-----dance a bit too---

  1. It's Kathy. I love the Scandinavian countries. My son took me to visit family in Norway several years ago. We had a second trip scheduled but the pandemic shut all that down. Now I don't know if I'd be up to a big trip like that anymore. Siren's going off like crazy around my house today. I heard several while I was walking Daisy - now more. You'd think the world is coming to an end. I'm not getting my work done either - seems like one thing or another keeps interfering! Hope you have a terrific day!

  2. Lynda, the memes are beyond great today.
Our repairman came for our washer numerous times. The last time he said it couldn't be fixed. I know how that goes. Your new one will be better.
I'd love to go to Denmark. Looking forward to photos of food.
The raking won't go away, so don't be too upset if it doesn't happen. Sounds like you have a busy day without it.
Happy for Himself at his program. He may rest after so you can rest, too, or rake.
It's beautiful here today. 20 degrees over freezing, mostly sunny, not much breeze. Tomorrow and Wednesday it's supposed to rain most of the day. That should open the buds on my lilacs!
Having another huge salad for lunch today. Can't do it et, though. It's still a bit early. I'll fix it in a while.
Bought some food for ages 7+ for Lucky today. I want him to have what will keep him healthy as he ages. Especially cuz I don't have the $ yet (it's coming) to get his teeth cleaned.
Happy day. Exercised yesterday and will do so again today.
Sadie? Well, we'll see. She has to at least do dishes.
Guess that's it for now, sis. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

    2. Dear sis, of course the salad was good. I try to stay on a mostly plant based diet. Hidden Valley Ranch now has their dressing vegan and officially plant based. Had organic mixed greens, crispy onions, diced tomato and half an avocado. Now tomorrow I need to shop...and it will be raining all day!
      Bet your new washer will be better...easier to use and more 'bells and whistles.' {{{HUGS}}}

  6. Hi Lynda! I am happy this day is over! Dental cleaning, doctor checkup and he sent me for the labs that he forgot to put in that I tried to get Friday! I hope your day went well! Sounds like a new washing machine was needed and the unplugging did not work. My husband asked me what kind you got. Lol The weather was so nice in Ohio today. Too bad it was hectic but now it’s done. Have a wonderful night!

  7. I hope the new washer "does the trick" as my mom used to say. Hang in there... sometimes these things take getting used to, but you are strong, and you are smart, and you will triumph over the changes!

It's Tuesday morning by the time I got to this post... whew! New puppies are a LOT of work! But so lovable, even when they are running you ragged!

    Hugs!
