It's Kathy. I love the Scandinavian countries. My son took me to visit family in Norway several years ago. We had a second trip scheduled but the pandemic shut all that down. Now I don't know if I'd be up to a big trip like that anymore. Siren's going off like crazy around my house today. I heard several while I was walking Daisy - now more. You'd think the world is coming to an end. I'm not getting my work done either - seems like one thing or another keeps interfering! Hope you have a terrific day!
ReplyDeleteKathy-What were the sirens??--Lordy I hope the world will not end yet--altho--- according to the TV and CNN it doesn't sound good--This poor generation eh?--- having to hear all this--- Lynda
DeleteLynda, the memes are beyond great today.
ReplyDeleteOur repairman came for our washer numerous times. The last time he said it couldn't be fixed. I know how that goes. Your new one will be better.
I'd love to go to Denmark. Looking forward to photos of food.
The raking won't go away, so don't be too upset if it doesn't happen. Sounds like you have a busy day without it.
Happy for Himself at his program. He may rest after so you can rest, too, or rake.
It's beautiful here today. 20 degrees over freezing, mostly sunny, not much breeze. Tomorrow and Wednesday it's supposed to rain most of the day. That should open the buds on my lilacs!
Having another huge salad for lunch today. Can't do it et, though. It's still a bit early. I'll fix it in a while.
Bought some food for ages 7+ for Lucky today. I want him to have what will keep him healthy as he ages. Especially cuz I don't have the $ yet (it's coming) to get his teeth cleaned.
Happy day. Exercised yesterday and will do so again today.
Sadie? Well, we'll see. She has to at least do dishes.
Guess that's it for now, sis. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Wow Miss Maggie-- The memes were ok eh?--That new machine comes on Thursday--$1045 -It would cost less in the US--And on#2 sent some food pictures-- I'll post them to-morrow--Your huge salad sounds pretty good--Was it??-- Hugs, Lynda
DeleteDear sis, of course the salad was good. I try to stay on a mostly plant based diet. Hidden Valley Ranch now has their dressing vegan and officially plant based. Had organic mixed greens, crispy onions, diced tomato and half an avocado. Now tomorrow I need to shop...and it will be raining all day!
DeleteBet your new washer will be better...easier to use and more 'bells and whistles.' {{{HUGS}}}
Hi Lynda: Love the picture of the two babies. How nice to be that carefree and happy! Glad himself got to the Lodge today and that you got to buy a washer. Nice picture of the hotel right beside the water. How nice. Hope we get food pics tomorrow. Nice here today too. Will be tomorrow as well then a couple more rainy days. Hope you get to rake. Have a good evening. Brenda
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda--Yes I got some raking in--not enough tho--- Yes Son#2 sent food pics--I shall post them to-morrow-- They are 6 hrs ahead of us-- Lynda
DeleteMarti here. Yes, I am happy today. It is 77 degrees here, the sun is shining, my day at work went smoothly, and I got to my Monday workout and my earbuds were working and I was able to tune out the yakkety yakkers! Yay, me! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL--I love the yakkety yackers--LOLOL--77 is really nice-- We need it up here--It was a busy day--- I did get some raking in tho--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda. Glad you've got a new washer on the way.
ReplyDeleteHope the doc had a great day at center.
Great inserts.
It's still HOT here...high 80s. I had to dig out some shorts and Ts.
Denmark hotel on water looks nice.
Be well and safe.
Hugs and blessings
Marge/St.Louis
Marge--- better temps here but not like at yer place--still kinda cold-- but at least we had sun-- lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! I am happy this day is over! Dental cleaning, doctor checkup and he sent me for the labs that he forgot to put in that I tried to get Friday! I hope your day went well! Sounds like a new washing machine was needed and the unplugging did not work. My husband asked me what kind you got. Lol The weather was so nice in Ohio today. Too bad it was hectic but now it’s done. Have a wonderful night!
ReplyDeleteI bought an LG washer--$1045.00 here in Canada--5.8-comes on Thursday-- Our daughter said it was highly rated-- They are pretty much all the same I think--but-- I did go with this one-- Ask your hubby if it really is highly rated-- Who knows eh?--I could get a white one in town but I wanted the grey one--silver---- Lynda
DeleteHe said that was a good one!
DeleteI hope the new washer "does the trick" as my mom used to say. Hang in there... sometimes these things take getting used to, but you are strong, and you are smart, and you will triumph over the changes!
ReplyDeleteIt's Tuesday morning by the time I got to this post... whew! New puppies are a LOT of work! But so lovable, even when they are running you ragged!
Hugs!
